Well boy howdy, getting back into hyperfixations with lamb game, excited for the upcoming update. Been chatting with my lovely friend about it for a while now, having dragged them back into the game with me lol.

Also, most definitely did not get back into writing again just because of lamb game, no, course not. Something I don't know when it will be posted but the document grows each passing day.

Okay, so if you recall in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, there's this one specific episode called, "Do You Princess Toadstool Take this Koopa...?" where Bowser's mom makes an appearance so that she could see her son marry Peach (and eat the wedding cake afterwards).

Which got me to think about this one interesting question:

If we're assuming that Bowser's mom is canonically alive in the Mario universe, do you think that Bowser's mom would be supportive of her son's relationship with his arch-enemy's brother or do you think she would do everything in her power to try to convince Bowser to dump Luigi and go after Peach instead (assuming that Bowser would be the one to tell her that he's dating Luigi)?

Quickly need to write this down before I forget, but I had another HB dream and from what I remember Via was bleeding out on the ground and Stolas ran over to her to hold her, but Via was screaming for him to get away, because of things Stella has told her (like bad things he would do to her), but he ended up saving her life with some magic stuff (Idek). And then Via calmed down when she realized everything Stella has told her about her dad was a lie.

Explaining it doesn't sound as good as it felt in my dream and I already forgot most of it, but that's just how dreams be like, I guess. But for a moment it genuinely felt like I was watching a new episode.

OC stuff! The true identities of Pork Chopper, Frog Flipper, Patty Puree and Hippo Pot, as Compton best remembers each of them.

Some additional facts!:

I headcanon Compton as having been born in the UK - mostly because of his accent - hence why his dad is a British bobby.

Newton St. Peter got his name because Compton couldn't decide if he wanted to give him a scientific or religious name, so he went with both.

Compton met Patti after he joined the Animal Liberation movement. Together with Ryan, they pulled 'rescue missions' all over Europe. Compton got the animals to cooperate with his powers, Patti used her family's money to bribe their way around, and Ryan was the getaway driver. He'd always say "I'm all fired up an' ready to go!" when it was time to go. :V

Newton was born eighteen years before the Maligula incident - he was already a baby when Compton had that accident at the dog pound. Patti thought that Ford Cruller was taking her husband away to some kind of 'psychic therapy' to calm him down (which wasn't wrong, per se). She grew increasingly impatient over the years, thinking her husband had been sucked into some kind of cult. Learning the truth behind the Psychonauts and how Compton put himself in danger in Grulovia pushed her to divorce him, not helping his already fragile self-confidence issues.

Compton's psychic powers skipped a generation; neither Newton nor his wife Shelly are psychic. He didn't have the best relationship with his father to start with, since he spent all his time at Green Needle Gulch and rarely visited (apparently Compton floated the idea of inviting his family to live with them, but nothing came of it, possibly because he didn't think Ford and Otto would want non-psychics to know about their experiments). It only got worse after the Maligula incident and Compton refused to help with Dogen, after Newton had a front-row seat to a bully's head getting blown to chunks.

i'm looking forward to seeing Ed's messy and so very human journey in S2

he's not only grieving the potential future he could've had with Stede but grieving who he was and can never be again

he can't go back to being the Blackbeard from before, he can't have exactly what he dreamed about with Stede, and he can't hold on to his destructive Kraken ways

he's lost a big part of his identity so he's trying to find purpose, trying to figure out who Ed is, and trying to figure out how to continue living his life

i think his journey will be hopeful and empowering but so incredibly messy and complicated and I'm so here for it
