my beloved husband: has conceded that he might let me feed him black raspberries once he’s seen me eat some and not keel over

me, a goblin: googling how to eat grasshoppers and irritably rejecting out of hand any videos about how gross and weird it is but good for survival if you’re desperate

#I've heard they're actually very tasty give me recipes from people who actually like eating them you cowards #ONE DAY I WILL EAT A BUG. MAYBE IT WILL BE IN TWO WEEKS WHILE MY HUSBAND LOOKS ON IN POLITE DISTASTE #also I told justin up front if there are lots of wild blackberries and he waits to make sure they don't poison me to try some #then there simply will not be any left for him #I will mow through the woods face-first for blackberries they are my single favorite fruit #it's ONLY because I love him so much that I want him to try some!! otherwise I'd be DELIGHTED to have them all to myself!!!#I am about to make myself cry thinking about them I love them so much #sorry wait I'm mixing terminology all willy nilly here #... to be clear wild blackberries are actually a different thing that exists which is very annoying for me #because Wild Black Raspberry is a stupid mouthful and I grew up just calling them blackberries #what I mean is Rubus occidentalis 'real' blackberries can kiss my ass tbqh #about me #justin #husband
