It has been forever and I’m so sorry. It turns out that something that showed on a CT 2 or sours ago that doctors said was just a regular sinus infection we’re actually masses/obstructions that have grown and are now pressing on my eye which apparently is the cause for the constant migraine I’ve had for like 8 months. Needless to say it has been hard for me to focus enough or have enough energy or ideas to write for than a few sentences at a time. I finally get surgery next week and will be in bed rest for 2wks so PLEASE do me a huge favor and give me any prompts and/or requests for USWNT x reader oneshots or anything you’d like to see in CATastrophe pt. 2.
Overprotective (Preath pt. 2)
Or USWNT MATES pt.3) hopefully I’ll finally get back into writing soon!

Things *Good* Alphas Do (Alpha!Becky x Alpha!Alyssa x Omega!Reader)
Tumblr media
Request: Alpha Alyssa and Alpha Becky/ Omega reader where she’s newer to the team and really shy, especially around alphas and Becky and Alyssa come up with elaborate plans to spend time with her (with the teams help) and omega reader slowly falls for them especially when they protect her from a push alpha when they’re out somewhere?
Alyssa watched you from across the bar. Tracking every movement you made as you ordered your drink next to Mal. The other omega was leaning heavily on you, and she made a mental note to give Rose a heads up.
The team paid little attention to her protective stare, more than used to her and Becky’s possessive (but carefully restrained) behavior around you. They understood the delicateness of your situation.
You weren’t just shy, that much had been overwhelmingly obvious since you had joined the team about six months ago. When you first arrived, you were skidding beyond belief, flinching every time an alpha so much as looked in your direction. Even around the two women who were destined to be your mates.
It was a slow process but the omega’s on the team had eventually gained your trust, and in turn began their plan to get you to accept your alphas.
*****
Attempt 1 - one month in
Christen was the first person you trusted. Her quiet, calm nature resonated with you and you found that her alpha, Tobin’s, chill vibes didn’t set off warning bells in your brain.
You loved hanging out with her (the team joked that you followed her around like a puppy for those first weeks), and morning Yoga together had quickly become an integral part of your routine. You didn’t like it when people messed with your routines.
“I didn’t know you two did yoga,” You mumbled, raising your eyebrows at the two alphas shifting awkwardly from foot to foot.
“We wanted to try something new if that’s ok with you?” Becky asked hesitantly, reaching out to carefully run a hand down your arm.
“We thought it would be a good way to enjoy the view,” Alyssa shrugged, the only indication she was nervous of your answer was her worrying her lip between her teeth.
You glanced worriedly at Christen. You had come to look forward to yoga. It helped you to relax and center yourself before having to deal with the craziness of the team.
She nodded encouragingly at you, a small smile playing on her lips as she released a bit of her soothing scent (your alphas did too, but at a much lower rate- afraid that overwhelming you with pheromones wouldn’t work well in their favor).
“I’m sure they’ll be fine, our routine isn’t too complicated,”
“And they’re going to be over here by me,” Tobin added, gesturing towards two yoga mats a little ways away from the ones you and Christen were going to use.
You were pretty ok around Becky and Alyssa (your inner omega definitely recognized them as her mates), but no one wanted to push you too fast too soon. You eyed the spot Tobin had pointed to and your alphas respectively. It wasn’t that you didn’t trust them, it was just that the previous alphas in your life hadn’t made you feel confident that they would treat you as an equal. That they wouldn’t push you to accept them before you were ready too.
“We respect your boundaries y/n,” Becky said softly, her finger still rubbing your arm, her soothing scent getting just a little bit stronger. The lines for what you and your inner omega were comfortable with were set, and neither alpha was going to overstep it.
“We just wanna be close to you,” Alyssa added, equally as soft.
You paused, looking for any hint of dishonesty (unaware of the apprehensiveness leaking through your fledgling bond to your alphas).
You nodded when you didn’t find any. “You can do yoga with us,” you smirked, feeding off of the excitement they were sending your bond“if you can keep up that is,”
Tobin cackled at your sudden surge of confidence and the wide eyes of your mates. They hadn’t gotten the chance to see your sassy side yet, and she knew that they were going to have their hands full.
“Let’s get started then,” Christen laughed. This was going to be a fun morning. (And if Tobin got to watch your alphas fall all over themselves to get you to feel comfortable around them, then this was going to be a fun courtship to watch).
*****
Attempt 2- 3 months in
“I wasn’t built for this,” Alyssa huffed as her head popped back above the water, whipping the hair from her face and clinging onto her surfboard for dear life.
“And you think I was?” Becky grumbled, paddling over to her alpha mate, while still trying to keep an eye on their omega who was heading out past the breakers with Kelley in hopes of catching another massive wave.
You had taken a long time to warm up to the feisty omega (you were still incredibly hesitant around her rambunctious blond alpha). They were happy that the omega’s on the team were starting to really crack your shell. It helped that most of them were into the same crazy activities you were.
The team was trying to take advantage of your love of surfing as a way to help your alphas bond with you, but it wasn’t exactly going to plan. No one had accounted for the fact that neither of your alphas was particularly good on a surfboard, or in the water for that matter. So they had spent the majority of the day watching as you, Kelley, Tobin, and Alex had basically swum circles around them.
“Looks like you two got yourselves a daredevil for a mate,” Emily snorted, coming up beside them. Her watchful eye never left where her mate was moving next to you.
The two of you had a knack for finding trouble, but she hoped that didn’t extend to the waves.
“I don’t know how you all do this,” Alyssa huffed, finally pulling herself up on her board.
Emily shrugged with a giggle. It was hilarious the lengths your alphas went to spend time with you. “Lots of practice my friend. At least you have more patience than the rest of us,”
Becky and Alyssa shared a look as you paddled after a giant wave. It seemed that you were definitely going to give them a run for their money. When you were more comfortable and you had finally accepted them as your mates, they were going to have to set some boundaries for sure.
“I didn’t know she had it in her,” Ashlyn cackled, joining the group watching the two omega’s shred that monster wave.
Your alphas jaws dropped in awe, excitement and pride surged both ways through your (slightly stronger) fledgling bond.
“We might wanna duck dive,” Emily mumbled just before she disappeared into the water.
“What?” Becky asked, glancing at Ashlyn who also dove under. She turned back towards Alyssa, her eyes widening when she saw the giant wave coming right for them.
Alyssa’s gaze followed hers,
“fuck” she hissed, just as the force of the wave took them, tossing them around like socks in a washing machine. Their boards flew out from under them in the watery barrage but surprisingly didn’t become untethered from their ankles.
Both alphas made it back to the surface with minimal sputtering, dragging themselves the rest of the way inland. They were very much done for the day, but it appeared you weren’t.
Your head popped up above the water with a huge grin on your face. Kelley’s wasn’t too far behind you. The two of you shared several words before hopping on your boards and heading back out through the surf to do it all again.
The alphas shook their heads.
“We need to convince her that cuddles and movies are just as good,” Becky grumbled, and Alyssa nodded in return. The yoga was hard, but at least it hadn’t almost killed them. Hopefully, whatever plan the team came up with next didn’t involve more extreme sports.
*****
Attempt 3- 6 months in
You stood there with your arms crossed, glaring daggers at the two alphas in front of you. You were sure they could feel the frustrated pheromones rolling off you, and your agitation leaking through your evergrowing bond.
You were fairly comfortable with the women who you knew were your mates, but you weren’t quite ready to take the leap and admit your feelings. You also weren’t really fond of this little surprise they had sprung on you for your team-bonding night seating arrangements.
Every seat in the hotel room was taken except for the one in between your mates on one of the queen size beds.
“Are we going to pretend that you two didn’t plan this?” You growled at the alphas, who were shrinking back into the bed.
“We didn’t!” They exclaimed, Becky, holding her hands up in surrender while Alyssa seemed to tuck into herself (which was completely hilarious because of how big she was). They both released a little bit of their scents (along with several members of the team), hoping to appease your very unamused inner omega.
“Well, it’s one hell of a coinkydink that the only open seat is between you,” You huffed, not buying the innocent act they were playing up.
Your alphas sent a pleading look towards the ringleader of this particular attempt, “They had nothing to do with this short stack. It was all Sammy’s idea,” Kelley shrugged.
“Hey!” Sam exclaimed at the same time Mal giggled out a “Right under the bus,”
You glared at the omega’s who had become your friends over the past several camps. “You all need to stop meddling,”
Kelley rolled her eyes. You were utterly adorable when you were trying to be grumpy (Kelley was sure your alphas would agree- if the looks they were giving you were anything to go by). “Yeah, yeah. Just sit down already,” she said, kicking your butt from her place cuddling into Emily on the other bed.
You tipped forward, landing in Becky’s lap with a huff. She steadied your shoulders as you scrambled from her lap (ignoring the way your inner omega preened at the attention).
“You alright darling?” Alyssa asked, watching carefully as you wiggled in between them into a more comfortable position.
“Mm fine,” You mumbled, sighing when you finally found a comfortable position (completely ignoring the fact that it had you pressing into Alyssa’s taller frame). She smiled indulgently at you, slowly working her arm behind both you and Becky to make herself a more comfortable pillow for you.
Becky’s hand came up to rub soothing circles on your arm, working her way very slowly up your shoulder and towards your neck. You hummed lightly, sinking further into Alyssa.
You couldn’t help how relaxed you were around the women. How absolutely safe you felt. Your eyes slowly dropped shut. You guessed the warmth of your mates (the soothing pheromones they were releasing) was causing your exhaustion to finally catch up with you. But you still didn’t want to fall asleep. It would make you a perfect target for a joke from the other youngins.
“Just relax, we’ll take care of you,” Alyssa whispered into your hair, placing a very sweet kiss on your temple.
“Promise?” You asked, quaking an eyebrow. They had gained your trust over the last six months, but you still needed to make sure before you let go completely.
“Always,” Becky nodded. You hummed in agreement, finally giving in to the pull of sleep, confident that your alphas would ward off any unwanted pranks.
*****
You were having the best time ever. You were never really a fan of bars or dancing, but here with the rest of your team, you were having a blast.
Mal leaned heavily into your side “How do you do it?” She asked, her words still clear despite how many margaritas she’d had.
“Do what?” Your eyebrows furrowing. You had no idea where this conversation was going, but if the shift in pheromones was anything, it wasn’t going to be a place you wanted to actually talk about.
“Resist the urge to mate for so long,” Mal snorted, as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.
You felt heat flood your cheeks, traveling all the way up to your neck towards your ears. You didn’t have a lot of good experiences with alphas, and in the beginning, the quiet stillness of your mates had unnerved you. You wondered when they would drop the calm and patient act and try to take what they believed was theirs.
Over time, you learned that they never would. They would never cross a boundary you weren’t comfortable conceding. You learned how to trust them, how to finally let yourself begin to lean into the feelings your inner omega so strongly believed in. You were getting closer and closer to finally being ready for them, it had just taken you longer than most (something your alphas assured you they were fine with).
“I-... I don’t,” You stuttered, but it seemed like Mal didn’t even realize your internal spiraling.
“I was barely able to hold out for a week with Rosie. We met and it was like bang- insta-heat,” she rambled on leaning in very close to your ear, her head lolling to the side on your shoulder. “they love you, you love them, so what’s the holdup?”
You sighed. You did love them, and your inner omega yearned to finally take them as your mates, but it was just so overwhelming. You didn’t want your relationship to be dictated by instincts, but you wouldn’t deny that you were slowly falling for the women who had worked their way into your heart.
“I’m trying to get-...” You started, only to get interrupted by a new presence right over your shoulder.
“Hey ladies, what are two little omegas doing here by their little lonesome,” He said, flashing you what you assumed was his most charming smile as he pumped out his cloying scent.
Your nose wrinkled involuntarily- his calling pheromones were absolutely disgusting to the earthy sweetness your mates sometimes used to help you calm yourself down.
“We’re not alone. Thanks,” You mumbled, pulling Mal tighter to you. She may act like your protector for the most part, but that didn’t mean that you wouldn’t step up.
The alpha chuckled, stepping closer to you and placing an unwanted hand on your arm. “Oh contrare. You can’t fool me with that omega on omega shit,”
More of his disgusting scent pressed over you, calling for your submission. You steeled yourself, fighting against the urge. You had raced worse on the soccer pitch from opponents far more dominant than this duchbag. He didn’t deserve the honor of your submission.
“Don’t touch me,” You growled, staring him defiantly in the eyes and shrugging his grip off your arm.
His lips twitched as though he was amused by your defiance. “Come on baby, quit playing so hard to get,” he said, his hand returning just a little bit higher on your arm. You winced at the tight hold, opening your mouth to respond, only to be cut off from a low and dangerous growl from behind the man. “I believe she said to let go,” Alyssa said.
“Now!” Becky added, and it felt like something in your chest loosened. Their pheromones drowned out his scent, wrapping around you like the world’s softest blanket. Like everything would be alright now that they were here.
The alpha smirked and shot a low growl back at the two enraged alphas. “Whoa, calm down. She’s just playing a little hard to get. Now get lost, I was here first,”
Becky stepped forward, gripping the alpha’s forearm so tightly you were sure his bones were straining under the stress. “You will take your hand off our mate before we remove it for you,” She rumbled, the sound resonating in her chest, as Alyssa stepped in between you and the alpha, acting as a shield.
“Fuck you guys,” The alpha hissed, finally letting go of you and storming off to go harass some other omega’s.
That when you noticed everything was shaking, or maybe it was you that was shaking? At some point during the exchange, Rose had come to retrieve Mal, dragging her away from the cloud of angry and dominant pheromones.
Alyssa turned and pulled you inter her arms, and you buried your face in her chest. Becky hugged you from behind, encapsulating you in their warmth and protection.
“You alright, babydoll?” Becky asked as Alyssa started to purr to soothe you.
“Hmm, just hold me,” You hummed, your omega finally calming down. The arms of your alphas tightened around you. You were safe with them, and they would always be there for you. You knew that.
“Always darling,”

The Snap (Becky Sauerbrunn x Reader)
Tumblr media
Anonymous Request: Becky Sauerbrunn x reader where the other team has it out for r, hurts her really bad, and becks loses her absolute shit for the first time ever?
Becky Sauerbrunn, was IRRATE.
Sweden had it out for you, and it was apparent in their actions, a number of their team members sliding into you, some with cleats up.
“Are you alright?” She drops down beside her girlfriend and you nod, grimacing as you sit up.
“I’m fine.”
“CALL THE FOULS DAMN IT.” Kelley screeches at the ref who unsurprisingly ignores her.
Kelley holds her hand out, and with Becky’s help pulls you to your feet.
“They better stop coming at you or I swear to fuc-
Kelley stops mid-sentence, realizing the ref’s eyes are on her.
“Of course she fucking hears that.” She mumbles under her breath and you roll your eyes.
“Of course.” You grumble as you pat her back.
You limp to your place on field and Becky grimaces.
“She can’t take much more…” She whispers and Kelley frowns.
“I’ll do my best to keep them off of her.”
                                                            ***
Kelley had done everything, still the second you had the ball they were on you.
It was in the 80th minute that Becky snapped.
She watched in horror as a Swedish player, Becky didn’t know who, slid in, hitting your ankle in a way that made it contort in an odd angle, no doubt breaking it.
You collapsed with a cry that tore her heart in two, your girlfriend sprinting across field to get to you, along with her teammates.
Christen brushes your hair out of your face as Tobin inspects your ankle, cringing.
You lean back against Kelley, your eyes screwed shut.
“My ankle's broken. It’s broken.” You cry Becky cupping your cheeks, ridding them of tears.
“The medical team’s coming. They’re coming.” She coos, the medical team on the two of you in second, pushing their way passed your teammates.
“DON’T TOUCH IT!” You yell growling when you’re lifted onto a stretcher.
“I’ll be right there okay?” Becky whispers as you’re carted off field, the fans cheering in support.
Becky’s hands ball into fists, her lip curling in a snarl.
Everyone watches wide eyed as Becky advances on the player who’d broken your ankle, who was showing absolutely no remorse, in fact, she was smirking.
It’s then that the defender snaps, pulling her arm back and literally punching the Swedish player in the face.
The woman falls to the ground with a thud, her eyes wide as she stares up at the usually calm and collected veteran.
Her teammates are so shocked in fact none of them move to help her, all simply staring wide eyed at the woman.
The USWNT are staring at the defender in wide eyed shock, watching as she moves to stand over the downed Sweden player, who she still in her rage, doesn’t even know the name of.
Becky grabs her by the front of her jersey, jerking her up and off the ground until their faces are inches apart.
“You got what you wanted, you broke my girlfriend’s ankle, now I’m going to break yours.”
The seconds the words leave her mouth everyone snaps out of their trance, USWNT players pulling Becky back, while Sweden’s WNT players check on their fallen teammate.
“Let me go.” She snarls, turning to whoever is holding her back, in this instance it's Kelley, Becky’s signature ‘look’ sending a shiver down her spine, but she stands her ground, holding the woman back with the help of her teammates.
Becky’s lip curls in a snarl as the ref makes her way over, red card in hand.
“Is she going to get one for breaking Y/N’s ankle or just me?” Becky snarks, the ref swallowing hard as she gives the Swedish player a red card first before doing the same for Becky.
“Now you finally do your job.” Becky growls, giving the ref ‘the look’ that sends her off in absolute fear.
Becky finally gets free of her teammate’s hold, the woman sending the Swedish player who’s still laying on the ground a glare.
“We’re not finished.” She growls before marching off field, completely ignoring Vlatko in favor of heading towards the locker room.
                                                            ***
Becky frowns the second she sees you, a bag of ice strapped to your ankle. She takes a seat beside you on the bed, and cups your cheek, your eyes fluttering shut as you lean into her touch.
“Broken?” She asks with a frown and you nod, grimacing as you shift.
“Yeah, we’re about to go to the hospital... What are you doing back here? Did Vlatko sub you out?” You frown and Becky clears her throat.
“So-Something like that.” She shrugs and your eyes narrow.
“What happened?” You frown and Becky takes a deep breath.
The door swings open and Sonnett pokes her head in, the woman grinning.
“Y/N! You totally missed Becky’s punch; it was AMAZINGGG!” She sings, your eyes doubling in size.
“What!?” You shout, gently taking her hand, examining the angry red and purple flesh.
“Wait, YOU punched her?” You snort and Becky scoffs.
“What? I can punch...”
Emily shrugs.
“I mean you usually just give people ‘the look’ and then they-
Becky turns around, giving Sonnett said look at she immediately goes silent.
“Shutting up now.”
“I have GOT to see that punch.” You bite your tongue between your teeth and Becky sighs, leaning in to press a chaste kiss to your lips.
“Oh, I’m sure you will.”
                                                            ***
“Oh my god, that was amazing.” You throw your head back with a laugh as you watch the video of Becky punching the Swedish player on Emily’s phone.
Becky huffs, her arms crossed across her chest as she holds an ice pack on her purple knuckles.
“Look at everyone, no one knew what to do.” Emily snorts, and you laugh, body shaking slightly.
The door to your room creaks open and Kelley’s head slips between the crack, the woman smiling.
“I told you guys I knew that laugh anywhere.” She glances over her shoulder, your entire team filing in.
“Broken?” Christen frowns and you nod, looking down at your casted foot.
“Unfortunately.”
Becky moves towards your bedside, leaning down to press a kiss to your temple.
“It’s alright we’ll get through this.” She frowns and you nod, leaning against her, your eyes fluttering shut.
“Have you seen the video of Becky’s punch?” Kelley snickers and you grin.
“I have BUT, I’d love to see it again.”
Becky rolls her eyes.
“I’m never going to live this down, am I?” She asks and you shake your head.
“Nope. Never.”

Date Night (Becky Sauerbrunn x Reader)
Tumblr media
Something you had learned pretty early on in your adult life was that dating as an adult was difficult. Getting your relationship steady with Becky had taken nearly a year due to your schedules. Now, you were a couple years in, still behind most of your other couple friends, and happier than you could have ever imagines. Becky was coming over to see you, having a rare break from having to do any camps or anything of the sort. Soccer was her life, just like it had been yours once, so you understood. Now your life was your students, and in a way, your players. You were the head of the English department and newest head coach at the University of Virginia, where the two of you had met.
“So, what’s the plan for our date?” Becky asked, holding onto your hand. The two of you were walking through the campus. You were walking towards the soccer fields for a picnic. That entire area was completely empty, partially thanks to your students, who shipped the two Virginia soccer legends together. Also, you had promised them that Becky would stop by sometime and give a lecture about something.
“It’s a surprise,” you said giddily. Becky sighed and just before you got to the picnic, you walked her there. You had covered her eyes with your hands, making sure she couldn’t peek. You uncovered her eyes and she let out a soft gasp. “Do you like it?”
“It’s just like our first date,” Becky said softly. You nodded and sat down on the blanket. You unpacked the picnic, which had been the same food as your first date. “I can’t believe you did all this for me.”
“Hey, I’d do anything for you,” you said and Becky seemed genuinely touched. The two of you enjoyed your date before the wind began to pick up and it got too cold to be fun anymore. You packed up everything and put it in the back of your car. You let Becky drive you home, the house that you remembered imagining yourself one day living with your family in. “Becky, will you move in with me?”
“When?” Becky asked and you shrugged.
“In the summer, I can go to Utah with you and then in your offseason, we can live here. It’s definitely big enough for all of us to live in together. So, now I guess.” Becky had to think on it for a minute. The two of you had been together, but at the same time, not really close enough for her liking. This would solve that problem, hopefully.
“Of course I will,” she agreed and you were elated. The two of you went into what would soon become your home, once her things were moved in. The two of you spent the rest of your night inside, away from the harsh winds, cuddling in bed.

I’m not allergic to fruit: USWNT x reader
Request: But maybe one where baby R has an allergic attack and faints in front of the team and they get really worries especially most of the older players like Kelley, Alex, Becky, Julie, Tobin, and Christen
Word count: 788
Warning: none
A/N: originally i was gonna write two and post them when i got to 500 followers but i have a calc exam tomorrow that i have been studying all weekend for so here is one and i will try to write another one tomorrow after the exam before i start studying for my physics exam.
Y/N POV
“To dinner!” I yell from my spot on Sam’s back. “Come on go faster I am hungry!”
“Y/N I am moving as fast as I can, if you want to get there faster you could always walk.”
“Ew no, why would I do that when you can carry me. It’s great because I don’t have to walk and I get to cuddle with you.”
“Alright, you leech,” Sam says as we enter the meal room. “Time for you to get down and eat dinner.”
“Thanks for the ride Sammy!” I say before I get distracted by all of our options for dinner. I grab all my favorite foods before I go to the table that Becky and Alyssa are sitting at to prove that I am eating a healthy meal.
“Please get some more fruit, Y/N,” Becky says. “Then you can go sit with the kids and eat.
I immediately pout because fruit is so gross.
“Can’t I eat more vegetables instead?” I whine, trying my best to get out of eating fruit. “I’ll even take vitamins.
“You already take vitamins kid,” Alyssa says. “Go sit with the kids, I will get you some fruit. Which you will be eating if you want dessert tonight.”
“Fine,” I say with a huff. I walk over to the kids’ table and sit next to Mal and Tierna.
“What’s wrong little Y/N,” Mal asks.
“I’m not little,” I grumble.
“You are the shortest and the youngest on the team,” Tierna says. “You are always going to be our little Y/N.”
I start to eat my food, which starts to make me happy, but the mood immediately disappears because Alyssa puts a bowl of fruit in front of me.
“Eat,” She says with a pointed look.
“Okay,” I whine, hoping she will leave and stop babying me so the rest of the kids don’t make fun of me.
“Awww is baby Y/N mad that they have to eat fruit,” Rose says. “Maybe you will grow up to be big and strong if you eat your fruit.”
“Leave me alone Rosie,” I say quietly. “I’m a teenager, not a little kid.”
I focus on eating my food and ignore everything that is happening at the table. Eventually, I am left staring at the bowl of fruit.
Tierna pokes me and nods to the bowl of fruit.
“The sooner you eat the fruit, the sooner we get to go upstairs and chill,” she says.
I eat a strawberry and grimace as I try to not freak out at the fact that I am eating fruit.
“Hey Y/N/N,” says getting my attention. “Why don’t you like fruit?”
I swallow down a few blueberries before I turn to her and answer.
“It always makes my throat itchy,” I say. “And my face gets really red.”
I eat some pineapple before I realize that everyone at the table is staring at me.
“What?” I ask to no one in particular.
“Y/N,” Sam says with concern evident in her voice. “What do you mean that your throat gets itchy?”
“It’s like when I have a cold,” I explain while finishing the bowl of fruit. “It goes away after a while but it is really annoying.”
“Y/N! Are you allergic to fruit?!” Tierna asks with panic. “Why did you just eat a whole bowl of fruit if you know that you are going to have an allergic reaction?”
“I’m not allergic to fruit,” I say. “Doesn’t everyone’s throat get itchy when you eat fruit?”
“No!,” pretty much everyone at the table yells at the same time, which gains the attention of everyone in the room.
Becky, Alyssa, Tobin, and Christen come over to our table to see what all of the chaos is about.
“What’s going on over here kids,” Christen asks.
“Did you guys know that Y/N is allergic to fruit?” Sam asks while pointing at me.
“I’m not allergic to fruit,” I say. “Everyone’s throats get itchy when they eat fruit.”
“No!” Tobin says. “No one’s throats get itchy when they eat fruit.”
“Y/N, you have hives on your face,” Alyssa says. “Do you have an EpiPen?”
“No,” I say. “Why would I have an EpiPen?”
“Y/N, how do you feel?” Becky asks. “Do you need to go to the hospital?”
“It usually isn’t this hard to breathe,” I say. “And my face is more itchy than normal.”
“We are taking you to the hospital,” Becky says.
“Does this mean you won’t make me eat fruit anymore?” I ask with some hope in my voice.
“No Y/n, you don’t have to eat fruit anymore.”
“Can I eat dessert before we go?”
“No!”
“That’s stupid.”

Imagines
Hey guys!
So I’ve set this up to write some USWNT imagines/short fics to get the hang of writing for them before possibly making some multichapter stuff.
I’m happy to write for pretty most any of the squad, most ships, most themes, (though if it’s triggering may take a bit longer as I like to make sure they do the topic justice), and I’m also happy writing original characters and reader inserts, though I’m not a huge fan of alternative universe writing.
I’ve reblogged a bunch of prompts as well so if anyone would like to go through my blog then feel free to request one of them just say who you want to be in the fic :)
So pleaaase send some requests in!

Keeping Secrets~USWNT x Baby Reader
Tumblr media
Prompt: Team finds out baby r has epilepsy.
Requested by: @khiaraaa-in-spacee
TW: Depictions of seizures and mentions of them.
Y/N PRO//
My name is Y/N L/N and I have epilepsy. Having epilepsy is hard because a lot of people assume that there is just the one kind, where a person suddenly falls to the ground and experiences uncontrollable muscle movement. While that is a common form that it can take there are several other types. Like mine, I experience Typical absence seizures, this means that when I am experiencing one I stop whatever it was I was doing and it can look like I’m frozen or zoning out, my eyelids flutter quite a bit and my ams jerk slightly sometimes too. When these happen I don’t realize it until it’s over.  Most of the time I have several in a row so when everything is over I tend to be a little confused.
I try not to let it define my life. I’m also a member of the United States Women’s National soccer team. I’m the youngest player on the squad at 15 and the team is over protective to say the least. They tend to overdue it by a lot when we’re on the field, for example if I go down injured at all they swarm me, asking if I’m okay a million times and calling the medical staff over for the tiniest injuries.. Off the field is much the same, they wake me up at the same time every morning because
“Having a routine is important.”
Christen has told me this a thousand times, doesn’t mean I like being woken up at 5:30 am everyday, off days included. (That is unless I’m sick, then they make me hate naps) Once I’m up they make me get dressed and they carry me down to the dining hall where all the food is set up. When they first started doing this I protested being carried, citing that I was a big girl and I had two legs that worked perfectly fine but, after a look from Ali and Ashlyn I just let it happen. The veterans of the team also stormed the coaching staff’s office demanding that they find a way to make breakfast available for me (and them) when I wake up. They didn’t do this to be snobby or high maintenance they say its because
“If don’t eat right away in the morning, you get grouchy.”
I don’t, but they think I do so I just let them have it and eat by 6 everyday.
I haven’t told the team that I have epilepsy because I don’t want to scare them or freak them out. It’s not that I’m ashamed of it or anything it’s just that I don’t want them to feel like they have to worry about me even more than they already do.
“Hey Y/N! You in there?” Kelley asks appearing out of nowhere.
“What? Oh, sorry what’s up?”
“We just wanted to see if you wanted to go to the coffee shop around the corner with us.”
She pointed to nearly half the team, including all the vets who were looking at me with concern written all over their faces.
“I think I’ll stay here, thanks anyways.”
“Are you sure? You love that place.” Kelley said frowning.
She was right, I had never turned down going there, especially with her. I wasn’t going to tell her this but I had forgot to take my seizure medicine so I need to stay back to take it before I forgot.
“Yeah, I’m sure.”
“Okay, well, we’ll bring you something back then.”
“Y/N?” Christen grabbed my hand before I could start walking to the elevators to go back to my room.
“Yeah Chris?”
“Are you sure you’re alright?”
“Yeah, why?”
“I just wanna make sure. You know, me and the other veterans wouldn’t mind staying with you. We could hang here and watch movies or play board games or if you want we could all lay down and nap together, I know how much you love the “Cuddle puddle” we create.”
“I’m okay, really. Go have fun with the others. I think I’m just gonna go read my book in my room.”
“Okay, see you later.”
She gave me a hug before leaving, I watched as she explained what we talked about to the other vets and I saw several of them turn back to look at me. I shrugged at them before turning on my heel and heading back to my room.
Once there, I took my medicine out of its hiding place, making sure to take the right dosage I then put it back and make sure it would stay hidden. I had to hide it because the girls always double check my bag before we leave any where we’ve stayed to make sure I have all my stuff. It’s nice sometimes but it also can get a little annoying.
There was a sudden knock at my door making me jump a little. Who could that be? The players who stayed behind were those that loved to nap and or they didn’t like coffee and almost all of them needed to have there alone time so getting a visitor is rare. After looking through the peephole I saw it was my roommate and best friend Morgan.
“Hey Moe! I thought you went with the others?” I said as I let her in.
“I did but I forgot my sunglasses. Have you seen them?”
“Um, I think you left them on the bathroom sink.”
“Oh that’s right! Okay, well got ‘em! See you later.”
“See you.”
After she left I was able to go back to reading my book, It was pretty peaceful and I had almost made it half way through when I stopped. The book fell out of my hands and onto the floor with a loud thud.
My eyelids fluttered and my fingers twitched and then just like that it was over. They only last 10-20 seconds, which isn’t long at all but for me it often feels like hours before I am aware of my surroundings again. Okay, there’s one. Am I going to have more?
My medicine has reduced them but it doesn’t stop them completely and some days it doesn’t work at all. I would go to a doctor to fix the prescription but since I can’t drive and the girls don’t know I just leave it be.
“Oh boy, today is gonna be a long day.” I say to no one but myself before I slowly stand up and go to the sink to splash water on my face.
We have practice in 45 minutes and I know the girls will want me to be ready a few minutes early. After I take my time changing into my gear and double checking that I do indeed look okay I make my way down to the lobby so that I can get on the bus before everyone else. I choose to sit all the way in the back and put my earbuds in so they know I don’t want to be bothered. But it seems Megan didn’t get the memo because she sits down right next to me and yanks the earbud out of my ear, putting it in her own.
“Hey kid, where you been? We brought back your favorite drink but you weren’t in your room.”
“I’ve been here.” I say shortly
“Okay?”
“Sorry I’m just tired.”
“You should’ve taken a nap before practice Y/N. What have we told you about that?”
“That I get grouchy without one, I know.”
“Do you?”
“Yes! I’m sorry, okay? I forgot, I’ll take one when we get back.”
“I’ll be having a discussion with Carli, Chris, Alex, and the others about what we can do to help you remember.” She said leaving no room for argument.
Ugh, I hate when they have “Veteran meetings” about me. After they’ve decided something, they sit me down and all crowd around me so that if I get upset, they can comfort me. 98% of the time whatever they tell me isn’t a big deal, like a curfew. I can deal with that or even an early bedtime when I get sick or injured. But I draw the line on some things.
“Don’t roll your eyes at me Y/N.”
“Whatever.”
“Are we gonna have to talk about your attitude too?”
“No. Sorry.”
“Mhm, what I thought.”
We finally arrived at the training facility we were practicing at this camp before our up coming international friendlies, and I grabbed my stuff and ran off the bus so I wouldn’t have to deal with Megan giving me the look anymore.
“Y/N! Walk please!” I heard Alex shout from behind me but I ignored her.
Ali PRO//
“Okay is it just me or she acting weird?” I asked, concerned for our youngest teammate
“Mmm, she’s just in a mood.” Megan said
“Okay, but she knows how we feel about her running anywhere that’s not the field, she’s the clumsiest kid we know. Plus, she always listens to me.” Alex said
She made a good point, she listened to all of us 9 times out of 10, some more than others but still. We all just stood there, letting the young players off first while we continued discussing our kid’s weird behavior.
“Hey guys?”
“Yeah Ash?”
“What’s this?”
She held up a pill bottle that none of us had seen before. On it in big bold letters, was the name Y/N L/N and it was a medicine called Ethosuximide with the name (Zarontin) in parentheses. What the hell?
“What is that and why does she have it?” Christen asked angrily.
“I don’t know but I’m gonna find out right now.” Ashlyn said as she stomped off the bus.
“Ash, Ash hold on!”
I stood in front of her trying to get her to stop walking.
“Why?”
“I know you, you aren’t going to let her explain and you’ll jump to conclusions.”
“What’s there to explain Ali? None of us have ever seen her take pills before and we all know she doesn’t have any medical conditions. We made Vlatko give us her file remember?”
“Yes but you should still let her explain.”
Ashyln was growing more upset and I was having a hard time keeping her at bay. As we got closer to the locker room the players who were already on the field or heading out attention was drawn to our argument.
“Ash, cool it. Young ones in the vicinity.” Alex said referring to the “youngins” as Becky called them.
“I don’t care. I’m talking to her right now.”
There was nothing me, Alex or any of the other veterans could do to stop her from storming into the locker room.
“Y/N Y/M L/N!”
She came over to the front of the room quickly, startled and looking slightly terrified. She had yet to spot the pill bottle Ashyln was holding behind her back.
“Yeah Ash? What’s up?”
“ “What’s up?” she says. What’s up? That’s all you have to say?” Ashlyn had a bite to her tone that made me shiver. She can be mad intimidating when she wants to be.
“Yes?”
“What’s up Y/N, is this.”
As soon as she saw what she was holding all the color drained from Y/N’s face and I was afraid  she might faint.
“Y/N… Sweetie, you’re okay. We’re just a little worried about you.” Chris said stepping forward and blocking her view of Ashlyn’s “Mean face”
She tried to reach for Y/N but she turned away from her and made a move to leave.
“Uh you know, I really should get out on the field with the others. See you guys out there!”
Alex grabbed her around the waist and held her in her arms tightly so she couldn’t go anywhere. She tried to get her to let go but gave up when she realized Alex was too strong.
“Shhh, deep breaths. You’re okay. It’s just us. It’s okay.” Alex cooed softly in her ear.
I could tell that she was scared and was trying not to let her walls down.
“It-it’s not anything bad I swear!”
“Really, then what is it?”
“It’s just… can we just talk about it later? Please.”
“No, what is this and why do you have it?”
“I- Please just let me go practice.”
“Y/N…”
“I have epilepsy, okay?! There, can I go practice please?”
She freed herself from Alex and ran out onto the field. We all chased after her and Christen tried to catch her but she was saved by the whistle.
“Ladies! Let’s go, stop messing around and get to work!” Dawn yelled, we knew it was directed at us.
After that we had no choice but to let it go and practice. We did the usual, stretching and warm up and then position group training, individual for some and scrimmages to end the session. Were half way through a scrimmage whenI noticed Y/N stop moving. It was like she was frozen, she wasn’t moving except for her arms that were jerking slightly and I could see her eyelids fluttering. She must be having a seizure. I thought. I rushed over to her stopping practice and tried everything to get her to snap out of it. Many of our teammates also tried to no avail and everyone was gathered around her unsure of what to do.
“Okay let’s give her some space.” Ashlyn said
I stayed close in case I had to prevent her from falling and hitting her head or needed to do anything else to help her.
She continued to seize, each one only lasted 10 seconds but she had 5 in a row and when those had stopped she only came to for a few seconds before she started to experience a second wave. In total she was unresponsive for almost a minute and half straight. Christen had put her arms on her shoulders, trying to let her know she was there.
“Y/N, it’s okay. We’re here. You’re okay.”
“What do we do?”
“We just have to let her know we’re here.”
“What’s going on? Is she okay?”
Several of the younger players looked scared and unsure of what to do, so Tobin and Megan took them away from where Y/N was and tried to reassure them she was gonna be okay.
Y/N PRO//
Everything finally started to come back into focus and at this point I had been moved to the ground and I was sitting in Chris’s lap as she held me. When I was fully out of the state I had been in I started to try to push her away, I was disoriented and confused and I didn’t remember what I was doing here.
“Hey, hey it’s okay. Y/N you’re safe, it’s okay.” Becky said as I settled down and the rest of the team begin trying to help me.
Chris held me the whole time, cooing in my ear and trying to keep me calm. Everything was super loud and my mind and body had gone into sensory overload trying to come back to practice. When I realized what happened and I was able, I pushed my way out of Christen’s arms, and ran back to the locker room. After that I ignored everyone and their questions about what was going on. I was the first back on the bus and had planned to continue ignoring everyone. The Vets of the team had other ideas however and put an end to it quickly.
“You feeling better little one?”
“Yeah Al, I am.”
“That was really scary.”
“I’m sorry you had to see that.”
“It’s nothing to be embarrassed about babe. But can I ask you something?” Ali said
“Sure, shoot.”
“Did you take your medicine today?”
“Yeah, I did it just doesn’t work well.” I said timidly
“What do you mean?”
“It’s the right dosage, it just doesn’t work well enough most of the time.”
“Why didn’t you get it adjusted?”
“I didn’t want anyone to find out about it.”
“That’s dangerous, you know that right?”
“Yeah, I know. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, I know you were scared. We’ll take you to get it adjusted as soon as possible.”
“Thank you.”
When we got back to the hotel I dropped off my stuff and decided to go for a walk. I needed to think about some things, and I knew the girls wanted to have a more in depth talk about what happened but I wasn’t ready. Eventually though I made my way back to the room and when I opened the door my roommate was there to greet me.
“Hey babe! You came back to me!’ Moe said dramatically as I entered our room.
“I’ll always come back to you, baby.” I said jokingly
“You better. My life is so boring without you!”
“I am the life of the party I’ve been told.”
“Ha ha, If anyone is the life of the party its Crystal. Girl can dance.”
“Definitely.”
“Have you talked to the others since we got back?”
“Uhh... no. I’m sorta avoiding them.” I said rubbing the back of my neck.
“You know that they’ll want to talk to you about it eventually right? I’m sure they’re worried about you.”
I was unsure of what to do because I didn’t really want to talk to them about it but I knew I had to. After another hour of avoiding it, I got up and made my way to Alex’s room. I knocked on the door timidly and waited for it to open.
“Y/N? Are you okay?”
“Yeah, yeah. I just was wondering if I could talk to you all?” I said as I saw almost all the older players in her room.
“Of course.”
We got to talking about what happened and I told them about the condition I had and when it first appeared and all the while Alex held me in her lap, cooing in my ear when I would start to get emotional and the others sat around us doing there best to let me know they were there.
“Why didn’t you just tell us?” Ashlyn asked
“I was just afraid.”
“You don’t ever have to be afraid to tell us these things. I’m sorry you felt the need to hide it from us.” JJ said.
“I know today was scary for everyone. I think I should tell the whole team everything soon.”
“Are you sure? You shouldn’t feel like you have to, if you’re not ready that’s okay too.”
“I am, it’s okay. Will you guys be there?”
“Of course, always.”
“I love you guys.”
“We love you too.”
I knew that some of them were still a little hurt that I hadn’t told them sooner or they felt bad because they weren’t able to protect me but I knew we would be okay.
we agreed to be more honest with each other going forward and When it came time for me to tell the entire team the older players were there to support me and help me explain everything. They were all super supportive and assured me that they didn’t see me any differently.
After our heart to heart we decided to do some much needed team bonding.
Rose showed me a Tick tok of a bulldog trying to reach a cake that was just out of its reach and failing (or succeeding) spectacularly as it splattered in the floor.
“Wilma would totally do this!” I said laughing at the thought of Rose’s dog doing something similar.
“She totally would but I would give her a hand.” Rose giggled.
Kelley succeeded in putting a cup on her head with only her feet and I was in awe of her flexibility. I attempted to do the same but I failed miserably and pouted as everyone laughed at me.
“Good try kid. You’ll get it eventually.” Kel said.
We ended up playing cup pong (the clean version), Jenga, Sorry, Truth or Dare, and twister. We also tried playing hide and seek through out the hotel but we got in trouble with the managerial staff and almost got the whole team kicked out. Let’s just say that Vlatko was not too pleased…
Sam, Rose, Sonnett, Lindsey and Mal choreographed a new dance and performed it for everyone. We all watched for over an hour as these knuckleheads tried to get it all down perfectly.
“Oh my god you guys, try again tomorrow when you actually know the dance.” Tobin said exasperated
“No, no we can do this. Right guys?”
“Yes we can.”
“Oh, definitely.”
“Just give us a minute.”
“We got this.”
We watched on as they tried and failed to prove that they had it, but we all gave them an A+ for effort anyways.
“We would have gotten it, if you guys had just been patient enough.” Sam grumbled.
“We watched for over an hour, you know this team, they can’t sit still forever.” I giggled.
“I guess you’ve got a point.” Sam chuckled.
“Hey! We’re not that bad at sitting still.” Kelley protested.
“Uh, yeah Kel. We are.”
The whole team giggled at that and agreed that together asking us to sit still for long periods was useless.
After that we made pies and cupcakes and they were actually really good, but things took a turn when I decided to smash Ali’s face in a pie. She then chased me down the hall trying to get me back.
“Y/N, get back here!”
“Becky! Save me!”
“No way kid. Not trying to get punched.” She said before she closed her door.
“Traitor!” I yelled as I continued to run from a pissed off Ali Krieger.
She eventually caught up to me and attacked me with kisses and tickles. I ended up covered head to toe in pie filling after she got hers all over me and then found another one and got revenge.
“Aw man, you got me.” I said as I giggled wildly as she tickled me some more.
“This whole team loves you so much. You know that right?” Alex would later tell me that night as we all snuggled on the two beds in the room I shared with Morgan.
“Yeah, I know. I love you guys too.”
They drive me nuts with the constant hovering and weird, silly rules they make me follow but I am so grateful to have them in my life and to have such an amazing group of friends who love and support me no matter what. Me and my 23 best friends are family for life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

THE END
If I got anything wrong, I’m so sorry. I did the best research that I could. Sorry for any mistakes.

Damn Aussies - (Christen Press x reader)
Y/n's Pov
"Cmon almost there" I grunt as I stretch to reach the cereal from the top shelf. Normally I would have gotten it easily but it makes it significantly harder when your also trying to balance on one foot. I almost have it when someone screams behind me
"Y/n!"
The scare causes me to stumble and put pressure on my other foot which chases me to cry out in pain. I lean after the counter top and bit my lip trying to distract myself from the pain. Before I know it I'm picked up and carried over to the couch. I already know I'm in for it so when I open my eyes and I put on my "cute and innocent" smile as she likes to call it, "Hey Chris". She rolls her eyes and doesn't budge as she crosses her arms narrows her eyes at me, "That doesn't work on me Y/n. What were you doing you know you can't walk without your crutches!".
A few months ago we were playing a friendly against Australia. We were winning, both Christen and I had scored and I was playing with my girlfriend. Everything was going great until it wasn't. I was about to cross the ball over to Tobin when Kerr came sliding in.
Right into my ankle
Well long story short, she fucked up my ankle pretty bad. So I'm out for a while. But on the bright side I get to stay with my amazing caring girlfriend as long as I keep up my recovery. "I don't like my crutches Chris and technically I didn't walk.... I hopped to the kitchen" I whine and finish with a cheeky grin. But that still doesn't waver her glare, "Still Y/n you could have called me and I would have gotten it for you". "I didn't want to bother you. You were getting ready for training" I pout. Christen's gaze softens as she crouches in front of me and takes my hands in hers, "Look Y/n, I know you hate being injured and not being able to do stuff yourself right now. But you need to allow your ankle to heal or else you could be out for even longer. And you are never a bother to me Y/n. Ever" she chided as she kisses my knuckles.
"I know I'm sorry" I apologized kissing her forehead and hugging her. We stay like that for a few minutes before she gets up, "Seeing as you can't be trusted to stay off your foot when your alone. You get to come with me to training". "Chrisss I don't want to go!" I whine. "Should have thought about that before you "hopped" to the kitchen" she argues. She hands me my crutches and I groan as I pull myself off the crouch and take the crutches off her. She grabs her last few things for practice before helping me in the car. She stops and gets me food seeing as I didn't end up getting my cereal.
We were a few minutes early when we pulled up to the training pitch. Again she helps me out I the car before I slowly make my way in. As we walk in it looks like most of the team was already there. It seemed like Kelley was the first to see us, "Y/n!". She runs towards us and picks me up spinning me around. Kelley, Christen and I all went to Stanford. Kelley was the one who kept pestering us until we eventually got together. She's insane but also my best friend. "Hey Kels" I laugh. "Be careful with her ankle!" Christen calls. But Kelley just shifts me so I'm on her back as she piggybacks be over to the rest of the girls. "Hey Y/n" Becky says as Kelley sets me down in the bench beside the Royals captain. "Hey Becks". "How's the ankle?" She questions. I shrug, "Getting there". "Why are you here? You usually stay at home when Pressy comes to training" Kelley asks. Christen answers before I could, "Well someone doesn't like to use their crutches and now they're here".
I cross my arms, "Just expose your girlfriend like that. That's nice". That sets Becky on me, "You need to use your crutches Y/n! Or else it will take longer to heal!". I hold my hands up in the surrender sign, "I know I know! I swear I'll use my crutches from now on". "Good I need my prank buddy back for camp as soon as possible" Kelley says fully serious which causes me to smile and nod. Soon the Royals coach came out to start training. Right before they start though they turn to me, "How do we know your not going to run off and tell the Thorns our plays?" Christen walks over to us, "Trust me she won't". I smirk up at my speedy forward, "How did you know that?". She just shrugs and start to walk onto the pitch, "That's fine just know if I hear you telling Tobin or any of the Thorns any of our plays, you get no cuddles for a year". My eyes widen. Her cuddles are the best and she doesn't mess around, "Woah woah! No need for such drastic measures! I'll be good. I'll be good!" She walks around not before I see a wide smirk on her face as I hear Kelley laughing her ass off, "Your so whipped!" "Shut up Squirrel!".
I watched their training, well I mostly just watched Chris. As much as I hate watching instead of playing, I loved to watch her play she always looked so happy and free. The session was short and light seeing as they had a match against the Red Stars tonight. When practice came to an end all the girls either sat on one of the benches or on the ground. Christen was the last over as she was talking with her coach. As there was no more room on the bench she plopped down on the ground in-between my legs laying her head on my right leg. I absent mindedly ran my fingers through her head and hug her from behind, "You played great. Red Stars better watch out tonight". "Thanks Y/n/n" she whispers as she cuddles my leg.
The team goes and has lunch together and just chats to each other killing the time before the game. Finally it's time for the game and it was decided that I would stay with the team as they didn't want fans to mob me in the seats. So I was walking out to the royals dug out when I was stopped, "Hey L/n wait up!". I hear the sound of cleats on concrete. I turn and see Sam Kerr jogging up to me. I raise an eyebrow at the Aussie, "Yeah?". "I just wanted to say sorry about your ankle. It was a reckless and stupid tackle and it shouldn't of happened" she apologizes. I nod, "It's okay these things happen. You were just caught up in the game. It happens to the best of us". She lets out a sigh of relief, "Yeah well I better get out there". "Yeah good luck. You'll need it" I smirk. "Ha, I'll see you after the game L/n". And with that she runs onto the field. Before I can even move I feel an arm slip around my waist, "What did she want?" I turn my head and see my girlfriend glaring at the back of Kerr. I shrug, "She just said sorry for the tackle and my ankle". "She should be" she growls. I raise an eyebrow at her and kiss her temple, "Well I better get to the bench and you better get warmed up. Good luck. Kick some ass for me!".
The game went well Chris scored some absolute screamers. Although Kerr caused a lot of problems for the Royals but between Becky and Kelley they were able to deny she a lot of chances. Which was a big factor in the Royals victory. When the match was over all the girls went to go talk to fans. I smile as I watch Chris talk to a group of little girls, smiling and laughed with them. I was about to join her when I was stopped again by the Austrian native, "Hey L/n". "Hey good game, told you you would need it" I smirk. She laughs, "Yeah I guess you did. Look I've hear you were thinking about the W League before you got injured. I'm just saying it would be amazing if you were to sign with a team down there during the off season". I furry my eyebrows together, "Well I was thinking of going down under before someone decided to out me out of commission for a while". "I said I was sorry!" She whines. I laugh, "I'm joking, but yeah I don't know I was only thinking about it". "Well if you ever decide you want to or even find yourself down there sometime, shoot me a text. I would love to show you around" she says. I think for a minute before nodding, "Yeah sure". And with that I head towards Christen and the girls. When I reach them I go to give Christen a peck but she dodges and I end up hitting her cheek. I look at her confused but she wouldn't look straight at me. She quickly retreats to the locker room to get changed while I turn to Becky and Kelley, "What did I do?". They both shrug before following Christen to the dressing room.
I wait outside the locker room waiting for Christen leaning up against the wall. After a while she comes out but doesn't really acknowledge me. Still confused I crutch after her following her to the car. The drive compared to this morning's is silent. The only noise in the car was coming from the radio. Again when we park she goes in without me and by the time I get in I can already hear the shower running. I decided to leave her alone for a while and just watch TV. I give her about an hour before I decide I have to talk to her. I struggle to make my way upstairs but when I do I make my way into our bedroom. When I get in she just looks up from her phone and then continues on her phone. I sigh as I sit on the bed, "Did I do something wrong?" She just scoffs not looking up from her phone.
I roll my eyes and snatch her phone from her hand and putting it in my pocket, "Hey!" "Cmon we need to talk about why are aren't talking to me!" I say meeting her eye. She just crosses her arms, "Why don't you go ask Sam?" I just furry my eyebrows together, "What?!" "Well she seemed to be talking to you a lot at the match" Chris bites. I shake my head, "She was just apologizing for the tackle Chris I told you that". "And offering to show you around Australia! Come on Y/n were was clearly flirting with you!" Christen shouts standing up from the bed. "Chris it wasn't like that!" I try to calm her down.
She didn't usually get like this but when she does she can be lethal
"So you weren't thinking about leaving to go play in Australia" she challenged. My face clearly drops because we both know the answer. She scoff and walked out of the room. "Christen wait!" I call after her. I couldn't reach my crutches but I wasn't about to let her leave without her knowing how much I love her. I hop my way out of the room but it doesn't exactly work out as I accidentally hit my ankle. I collapse in a heap on the ground with a loud this screwing my eyes shut, "Shit". I can hear Christen kneel beside me, "Idiot. Stop walking around without your crutches". She tries to look at my ankle but I grab both of her hands and look at her with tears in my eyes, whether it was from the fight or the pain I didn't care, "I wasn't about to let you walk away like that". She sighs before leaning me against the wall, "It was still dumb. You'll prolong your injury if you keep doing it. Or making it way worst". I shake my head, "I don't care. Hell I don't care if I could never play soccer again. But I won't-I can't lose you Christen. I need you". She stops what she's doing at looks at me giving me her full attention. "Look yes I was thinking about joining the W-league after hearing about Sonnett's experience of it. But then I realised that I would be away from you and I didn't want that anymore. I don't want to be away from you anymore. That's why I put in a trade to the Royals". "You did what?!" She gasps. I've been with the Thorns for years. It had become my home and once I had settled down there I knew that Portland would be where I was stay for a long time. I never expected to leave there and thought I would be there when I retired.
I guess I was wrong
"Y/n you've been with them for years. The Thorns is your life" christen protests. "Chris I love you with my entire being. And I know the distance kills both of us at times and I know the reason was because neither one of us wanted to move. But Christen I can't live without you. I need you in my life. The Thorns may have been my life but your my entire world Christen". At this point Christen had tears in her eyes as well as she slipped her hand into mine whispering a small "I'm sorry". I pull her into a gentle hug, "It's okay my love. You have nothing to worry about. Kerr has nothing on you". "Damn Aussie" I hear her mutter into my shoulder. I laugh as we both sit on the floor, her curled into my side as I trace patterns on her back. If anyone where to see us they would think we were mad.
But there was no where I rather be.
Heyyy! This one is slightly longer than usual but I think it turned out all right. Maybe? I don't know... Anyway I hoped you enjoyed. Feel free to comment/message to send in ideas for imagines. Honestly I was thinking of doing a Sophia Smith imagine but because I don't know much about her it would kinda be guess work. What do you think comment if you want to see that. Anyways until next time, bye!

Just so y’all know, my submissions are technically open, but I can’t guarantee I’ll write them in any sort of timely manner.
I’m an AP student so I always have a lot going on and I play club soccer so all of it together means I almost never have time.
HOWEVER, asks, requests, all of its open, but know the response might be as slow as internet explorer.
I do like a good chat so just hmu and I’ll get back to you probably within 24 hrs :).
Note: just changed my username from goalies71-soccer to uswnt-keeper so don’t worry I’m not hacked.

The Red Skull (Becky Sauerbrunn x Reader)
Tumblr media
Request
A/N: It was an absolute pleasure writing this. I hope the Anon enjoys it, keep the fabulous requests coming. And I will again apologize for being so absent as of late, but here it is.
Per usual, sorry for any mistakes. Please enjoy.
Y/n felt the small bit of sun hit her as it came out of its hiding place, Y/n squinting when waking up.
About to get up Y/n stopped, feeling a weight keeping Y/n in place.
Looking down Y/n saw her girlfriend of three months in a deep sleep. Snuggled in the covers while using Y/n as her pillow.
Letting out a shallow sigh, Y/n rested her head back on the pillow, thinking as Y/n had nothing else to do.
Being with Becky Sauerbrunn was the best thing to happen to Y/n, although some thoughts had been weighing a little heavy recently.
Not that things weren’t going well but Y/n was never totally honest with some of the things she was up to.
And as you may ask, what could possibly be so hard about admitting this thing?
Well, people normally don’t take too well to learning your loved one is performing death-defying stunts every other day in their spare time.
Y/n had yet to reveal the very dangerous profession that is as a motocross athlete.
It’s not like Y/n planned to keep this from Becky forever but it just hasn’t come up yet.
Y/n even started to play out telling Becky the news in her head. “Hey Becks, remember how our entire career solely depends on the fact of if we have working legs or not? Yeah turns out I have this entire thing going on and I put those at risk times ten.”
Y/n had to hold in the chuckle, hoping to not wake up Becky. Holding a breath as Y/n carefully looked at Becky, hoping she remained asleep.
Letting out a careful breath Y/n relaxed, slightly cursing right after as Becky’s eyes fluttered open.
“Good morning beautiful, sleep well?” Y/n had a small smirk playing on her lips as she saw the slight confusion on Becky’s face.
Finally pulling herself from sleep completely, Becky started to blush deeply realizing how close they were. Swiftly pulling herself up, she started apologizing.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have passed out last night like that, sorry.”
The only reason why she wasn’t apologizing more was because of the small chuckle coming from Y/n.
“It’s fine Becks, don’t apologize for anything. But I have to say-” Y/n sat up, being level with Becky while making eye contact, “if I had known you were a total ball of mush, I would’ve asked you out sooner.”
Becky let out a playful scoff, forcing Y/n back down by lightly shoving her hand against Y/n’s chest.
Y/n let out a small huff hitting the bed again; Becky walked off to the kitchen.
-----
Becky took one last look at the luggage prepared for the Olympics, a mug in her hand as she took in the last few hours of paradise before there would be nothing but chaos for a few weeks.
Y/n walked into Becky’s view, not that she was complaining. Y/n is in shorts and a tank top, her well-defined body on display.
“Sure going to miss this,” Becky mumbled the words almost meant to be unheard, taking a sip from her mug.
Y/n just looked at her girlfriend weirdly, getting a morning drink.
“Hey I was thinking, maybe after this Olympics thing, you and maybe the team could come to my home to relax?”
“Maybe the team?” Becky chuckled at how nonchalantly Y/n was being.
“Yeah, if I haven’t decided to strangle each one after about 50 questions or so.” Y/n shrugged her shoulders, having a small smile when Y/n made Becky laugh.
“Speaking of the roller-coaster that is about to become our life, we should probably enjoy this while we can.” Y/n grabbed Becky’s mug from her hand, putting it on the counter.
Y/n pulled Becky closer by her waist while Becky set her arms on Y/n’s shoulders. Letting their lips connect in a passionate kiss. Becoming entangled in each other.
-----
“What did you two do? Have you guys gotten in the sheets together? Have you told her anything about your personal life? Do you have a personal life? Is Becky part of your personal life? What about Becky, if I ask her will I get more out of her?”
Kelley was about to follow Y/n up the elevator but Y/n forced it shut, and hoped it would get up to her floor before Kelley did.
Y/n ran to her door, using the key card, making sure it closed before she headed to her bed.
Y/n face-planted onto the mattress letting out a groan.
Becky paused her reading, looking over at the sudden interruption.
“One more question out of that damn Squirrel and I might just smother her in her sleep.”
Becky laughed at the muddled words, “Come on baby, we’re more than halfway through the games. Just wait till after the finals, okay?”
One last murmur came from the body on the bed, “Fine.”
-----
Becky and Y/n headed down to the dining hall, hand and hand, looking to join the team for breakfast.
Both of them getting food before sitting down, Y/n was about to take a bite of an apple when Kelley sat next to her.
“So I’ve gathered at you don’t have a personal life, that’s why you never talk about it. But what do you do when the team doesn’t see you? Do you just train, train, train? Do you live and breathe soccer? Do you just sleep? Are you working on watching every game ever played in the history of this sport?-”
Y/n blocked out O’Hara and turned to Becky with pleading eyes, eyebrow slightly raised. “Please?”
“Lightly Y/n.”
“Hey, have you guys started having partial conversations now?! Now I won’t understand- Hey what was that for?!”
Y/n had a content look on her face after she “lightly” smacked the back of Kelley’s head.
“It was for my sanity. Now go and finish your breakfast.” Kelley got up with a pout, going off to the table for the children of the team.
Y/n let out a small sigh as Becky joined their hands together, intertwining their fingers. Becky kissed the back of Y/n’s hand and Y/n did the same to Becky’s.
“Maybe after practice, you and me could do crosswords on the roof. It’s a lovely view but it might be colder today.”
“I’d love to.” Becky leaned closer to a small peck on the lips before Vlatko walked in.
“Alright, ladies there is no practice today.” All of the children of the team rejoiced and even some of the vets, but everyone fell silent when Vlatko continued.
“...because enough of you are needed for media day instead. We’ll have a light training after all that is done, and we’ll do field and weight training tomorrow.”
Now a few groans filled the room, Y/n included.
Please don’t make me do media.
-----
That ass made me do media.
Y/n walked in front of the cameras a little awkwardly, saying “Guess you’re all stuck with me.”
There were laughs behind the camera until there was a voice saying, “What about me?”
Y/n looked at where it came from and saw it was Becky, weaving her way through the crew to stand next to Y/n.
Y/n couldn’t help the genuine smile shaking off the nerves, not dreading this interview as much now.
They were asked all the normal questions about how the team was doing, how the matches felt, etc. And then the interview took a turn.
“Alright, we asked the fans on Twitter to send in some questions and we’d like to go through some of the ones picked for you guys. And Becky, you’re up first.”
Becky got ready to answer as someone else read out the question. “Between Alyssa Naeher and Y/n L/n, who would you rather do a crossword with?”
Y/n jokingly leaned closer to Becky, “Yes, who would you prefer?”
That elected more laughter, Becky blushing while avoiding eye contact with everyone. Especially Y/n.
It settled down after a little and Becky spoke rather softly, “I’d have to go with Alyssa.”
Y/n had her jaw dropped, turning away from Becky, “Excuse me while I go lick my wounds.”
Y/n sulked walking off-screen while Becky followed her. “Wait Y/n, I’m sorry but the question implied actually doing a crossword.”
“Hey, we actually do crosswords too!”
“Come on Y/n you and I both know that we only do them about half of the time we say we’re going to.” Y/n knew Becky was right, she just had to snag her away from the camera.
“I know.” Y/n lightly kissed Becky’s cheek. “I’m totally going to nap after this though.”
Becky and Y/n locked eyes and Becky asked, “You ready?”
“Yeah.” They both walked back into the cameras’ view.
“Alright next question, please.”
The crew just went along with it, reading the next question. “Y/n, what’s one thing you can tell us that even your teammates don’t know.”
Y/n pondered for a moment and said, “I do another sport besides soccer.”
Becky looked at Y/n asking, “Really?” actually a little shocked by this.
“Yep. Any other questions?”
“This is for both of you, more Y/n though. How do you imagine winning the Olympics will feel like?”
Y/n smiled, "I know for a fact that it's the best feeling ever, just amazing, I was so proud of myself when I won my first."
The air of confusion flooded the room, everybody was taken aback by Y/n’s words.
The interviewer asked, "But this is your first Olympics?"
"With the team, yeah. Next!"
Becky was at a loss for words, trying to figure out what was going on.
-----
Y/n and Becky cuddled in bed together, waiting for the rest of the team to get back from their media duties.
“So are you going to tell me what you were talking about during the interview?” Becky wanted to know and this was the best time to ask, considering they were alone.
Y/n groaned, “And here I was thinking they always said it’s calm before the storm.”
Becky looked at Y/n saying, “I mean you said you were in the Olympics, do you blame me for being just a little curious?”
“I guess.” Y/n sitting up, against the wall, because of how close the bed was to it.
“Would it be cruel to ask you to wait until after this Olympics?” Becky moved as well, finding a rather comfortable spot in Y/n’s lap. Resting her head on Y/n’s shoulder.
“Is that why you wanted to invite me and the team to your house during off-season?”
Y/n broke eye contact, and rubbed the back of her neck, not expecting Becky to piece those together.
“Maybe.”
“It’s adorable how sneaky and smooth you think you are.” Becky laughed at how offended Y/n tried to act.
“Hey I know I’m not all stealth but I am most certainly smooth.” Becky lifted her head, her smile prevalent.
“Come here Dummy.”
Y/n pretended to be reluctant but that didn’t last as Becky’s and Yn’s lips connected.
The moment was most certainly cut short when there was a sudden and very loud set of knocks on the door.
Y/n felt Becky getting up to get the door but, Y/n kept her down by putting a hand on her chest.
Y/n leaned into Becky, whispering in her ear. The words barely audible, “Maybe they’ll leave if we keep quiet.”
Becky felt chills as Y/n started to kiss her jawline, moving to her lips to give her a proper kiss. Only for it to end with the small and soft pants of both of them, then the insufferable knocking happened again.
“Open up L/n! You have some explaining to do!”
Of course, it’s the Squirrel.
Y/n let out a small groan and buried herself into Becky's neck.
"No one is home leave a message after the beep." Y/n had a small glimmer of hope when there was the tiniest moment of silence.
"That was one time that worked asshole! ONE TIME! Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, I think the fuck not!"
"And the one time it worked it was the best day of my life; I nearly jumped for joy," Y/n told Becky in a matter-of-fact tone.
Once Becky got off of Y/n, Y/n was the one to answer the door.
"What is it now, Kelley?"
"Why didn't you tell any of us you went to THE OLYMPICS?! Did you tell BECKY?! DID YOU-" Y/n shut the door in Kelley's face, making sure it locked before flopping face-first onto the bed.
"I see you've chosen DEATH! Now, PREPARE for your demise!"
Y/n looked up after hearing Kelley storm away, "I feel like I have reason to fear for my life, now."
-----
Sonnett, Lindsey, Sam, Mal, Rose, and O'Hara all sat in Kelley's and Alex's room, all of them having their own spots.
"Okay, so first order of business; has everyone seen the interview of Y/n L/n?"
Everyone nodded their head, as Kelley began pacing at the front of the room.
"Good, secondly. How are we going to find out anything from Y/n if she won't even talk?"
Everyone fell into a small silence, Looking at each other. It was a few moments until Rose spoke up and said, "Maybe it will work if none of us ask it and maybe Press or Alex can?"
"Y/n avoids any question no matter who it's from."
"We could just get Y/n's phone or something, maybe Y/n has photos from the Olympics?" Sam thought it would be obvious to everyone.
"Sam you beautiful genius! I could kiss you!"
"Please don't."
But after a moment Kelley sighed, "Fuck we need to get the phone first, don't we?"
"Well that's normally how things work, yeah," Mal said, getting a small glare from Kelley.
After Kelley thought for a moment, a devilish smirk appeared.
"Girls... I got it."
Sam leaned to whisper to Sonnett, "Should we be worried?"
Sonnett just shrugged her shoulders, "Maybe."
-----
Y/n and Becky sat in the dining hall with the rest of the team.
"I don't like this, it's too quiet," Y/n mumbled to Becky.
"Don't you normally relish in these moments, babe?"
"Well yeah, it's just no one has asked any questions, at all. Doesn't that seem weird to you?"
Becky thought about it for a moment and said, "Now that you mentioned it, that's probably because Kelley isn't here."
"I just want the peace to last." As soon as the words were spoken, Y/n phone got a text message.
Reading it, it wasn't what Y/n expected.
"Pinoe wants me to come to her room, something is going on with her and Sue. Suspicious?"
"Very."
"Meh, if I'm not back in 30 minutes send a search party." Y/n kissed Becky's temple, getting up to check on Pinoe.
"Okay, but I'm totally going to say I told you so."
"I know."
-----
Y/n walked upstairs to Pinoe's room, knocking on her door. Before Y/n can even raise a hand to knock on the door, something grabs the back of her shirt and pulled Y/n backwards.
"Hey, who the hell is that?!" Y/n asked desperately as she was forced against a wall, Sam and Lindsey both handling one of Y/n arms.
"What the hell are you two doing?"
"Don't take it personally," Kelley said, appearing from nowhere, now in front of Y/n.
"But also take it personally actually," Kelley said as she reached into one of Y/n's pockets pulling things out.
"Key card, wallet, where is it?" Kelley was mumbling to herself angrily as she went to reach in the other pocket.
"What the hell are you doing Kelley?!" Y/n wanted to try and kick Kelley but Y/n didn't want to risk hurting the other girls, feeling like they are actually innocent in this.
"Ah-Ha!" Kelley pulled out the phone, Sonnett was also in front of Y/n now.
"For the record, no hard feelings Y/n but Sonnett and Kelley promised not to prank us the next three camps we have if we did this." Sam tried to justify these actions and hoped Y/n didn't hate her or Lindsey after this.
"In all honesty, if I were in your shoes... I don't blame you for taking the deal."
"Crap! We don't have the password. How could we forget that?!" Kelley said as Y/n saw the screen wasn't even turned on.
Kelley walked up to Y/n, asking, "What is it?"
"I don't know."
"What do you mean you don't know the password?!"
"I don't know the password."
"Do we know Y/n's birthday? What about Becky's?" Sonnett spoke up, and then Kelley and Sonnett went on and on bickering about what it could be, not paying attention to the others.
Lindsey asked, "Do you really not know your password?"
"Not a clue. But then again I also don't have one." Y/n smiled wondering how long it would take for them to realize this.
"But they're asking for one, how do you not have one?"
"Sweet Sammy Bananas, they haven't even checked if they need one, the screen is off."
"Oh my god, you're right."
"Should we tell them?" Lindsey asked, a little concerned.
"No, I wanna see where this goes." Y/n said still watching the two bicker.
Then attention went to one of the hotel doors opening. A confused Alex Morgan coming out.
"Do I even wanna know."
Kelley spoke up, "It's not as bad as it looks?"
"That's up for debate but sure," Y/n said making Sonnett and Kelley glare.
"What are you idiots even doing with Y/n's phone?" Alex asked exasperated, not ready to deal with this, right now.
"We're trying to find out the truth!" Kelley dramatically told Alex.
“We need Y/n’s password.”
Alex pinched the bridge of her nose, "Did you even check if it needed one?"
Kelley and Emily look at each other and then down at the phone, turning it on and seeing Alex was right.
Y/n mumbled under her breath, "Dammit."
Sonnett looked at Kelley, hitting her upside on the back of the head.
"Ouch."
Alex scoffed walking in between the group, hoping to get away from the chaos.
"I should really put a password on that thing."
Kelley and Sonnett look through the photos after finding the gallery, looking for anything.
Y/n began whispering to the two still holding her, "If you let me go I know I can't do as good as erasing the target off of your backs for pranks, but I'll buy and sneak in candy or whatever for the rest of the Olympics."
Emily's voice was suddenly heard. "Why are all of these photos so good?!"
"Focus Sonnett, we need answers!"
Sam and Lindsey look at each other and Sam said, "I mean they already promised no pranks, so..."
Lindsey knew where Sam's head was and she was liking it a lot.
"At least pretend we put up a fight."
Y/n smiled as they let go, Y/n quickly snatching the phone from Kelley. Y/n running for dear life toward the elevator.
-----
Y/n was running into the dining hall, more out of breath than she should be, opting for the stairs before the elevator arrived.
Most of the attention was on Y/n but then it went to the entrance of the room. A squirrel with a mission, Emily being dragged along.
Y/n quickly speed ran over to Becky, sitting next to her.
"I told you so."
"I know and I got patted down in the most horrific way possible but we'll talk about that later. Right now Kelley looks like she's on the hunt." Y/n frantically spoke while opening the phone's settings, creating the much needed password.
Y/n just picked random numbers, setting it, and turning it off right before Kelley snatched the phone back.
"No, we were so close, I could taste it!" Kelley dropped to the floor dramatically, Y/n and Becky turning around to look at O'Hara.
"May I have my phone back now?" Kelley pouted as she weakly held it out, Y/n taking it.
Y/n took a moment to think about the numbers she put in as the code, checking the calendar, and chuckling lightly.
Realizing the numbers was a date; the day Y/n met Becky.
"What is it?" Becky asked, looking at Y/n. Y/n grabbed her hand kissing the top of it.
"Nothing, nothing at all baby."
Totally not going to gloat about it later; ‘not smooth’ my ass.
-----
Y/n woke up, sad that there wasn't a special someone else in the bed.
Getting up for the day, Y/n made breakfast and looked at the calendar, realizing what day it was almost spitting out what Y/n was drinking.
It was the day the team finally got answers.
Y/n got the phone and saw Becky texted that her plan had taken off an hour ago.
The team was either going to have a rental car or have a bus or something else to get to Y/n's house but Y/n insisted with Becky that she was going to help her.
Y/n started preparing plans for lunch, knowing the team's appetite was nothing to be messed with. And Y/n also got ready to go to the airport to pick up Becky.
-----
"So... do I get a sneak peek at this little surprise the team doesn't know you have planned?" Becky teased Y/n.
"You wish." Y/n stood behind Becky wrapping her arms around Becky. "Besides I think it will be better if you all figured it out together."
They enjoyed the little silence they had just standing in Y/n's home until it there was a knock on the front door.
"Speak of the devils."
Y/n let go of Becky to answer the door but before Y/n got away Becky slapped her chest, "You invited them."
Y/n let out something close to a growl, turning around to face Becky, "Don't remind me. Slap me if I ever try this again when I could be having some alone time with my girl."
Y/n smirked at the blush now on Becky's face, turning around as another knock came.
"Hold your fucking horses, Kelley! And don't try some switch-up; you knocked on my door too many times for me not to know it's you."
Y/n took a final step and opened the door to find the entire team there, Kelley O'Hara front and center.
"Guilty as charged."
-----
Everyone was sitting dining table, somehow large enough to hold all the food and players. All silently enjoying the meal.
"Y/n defanimly cookz in her spear tin."
"Sonnett, no talking with your mouth full." Y/n reprimanded the "adult".
Everyone chuckled while Emily finally chewed and swallowed, "You defiantly cook in your spare time."
"I'd be lying if I said I didn't, I enjoy providing for people."
"But you won't provide me with answers." Kelley crumbled, getting an elbow in the side from Tobin.
As people were finishing up, they started having their own conversations, as did Becky and Y/n.
"So when do you say you'll finally reveal what's behind door number one?" Y/n laughed at Becky's cute metaphor.
"And here you had me thinking Kelley was the impatient one."
Then Ali suddenly got several player's attention, "Hey what is that?"
Y/n asked, "What's, what?"
"In your backyard, are you moving dirt or something Y/n?"
Y/n knew Ali was talking about the track, but it was barely visible from this side of the house.
"Um... I think it would be easier to explain if I just showed you guys."
Now everyone was moving, intrigued at this thing in the backyard of Y/n's home."
"If you head that way there is the backdoor. I need to get something really quick, I'll be right behind you guys."
Y/n jogged to the garage where all of the gear was but Y/n was already in clothes good enough to just get on the motorbike and take off. Not bothering to take a helmet.
The team all walked out to the backyard, Ashlyn immediately recognizing what it was. "There's no way, why would Y/n have a fucking motocross arena and a fucking track too?!"
"Wait do you guys hear that?" Kelley asked genuinely confused as to why she heard the sound of a motor getting closer and closer.
She was too focused on kicking a few rocks, plotting to get Y/n to talk.
Y/n saw the team walk out, being off in the distance because she needed speed behind her. Y/n reeving her engine, lining up for the jump.
Y/n's body tensed as the bike got closer and closer to the dirt ramp, only momentarily glancing over at the group.
The sudden jerk of the bike going up sent Y/n's body into autopilot, doing a 360, landing backwards on the front wheel. Slightly shaking on the landing, the bike went back on both of its wheels.
Hearing the gasps and cheers of the team, made Y/n feel better but there was only one person she was majorly concerned about.
Y/n backed up the bike, seeing Becky with a massive grin on her face and it was like a weight lifted.
Y/n lightly hit the gas then cut the engine, moving in front of Becky, balancing the bike on one wheel again.
"Smooth enough for you Becks?"
Becky laugh and said, "That was pretty smooth."
Becky and Y/n kissed, getting a few wolf whistles and the team cheered.
They didn't stay like that for long Y/n finally put the bike down, putting her full weight on one foot to get off.
Not fully checking if her footing was steady, quickly lost balance because of a few rocks underfoot.
Y/n fell over, the bike still in between her legs, groaning after feeling the impact.
A few of them rushed over to see if Y/n was okay, Y/n blocking the sun with her hand.
Kelley stayed back realizing it was the rocks that she was kicking that made Y/n fall.
"Oh my god, baby are you okay?" Becky knelled down to check on Y/n.
"Just give me a minute, babe, I can't tell if that's just my pride hurting or if I broke something."
They busted out laughing, while Y/n easily got the bike off, standing it up, as she did. Putting the bike on its tiny stand.
"By the way I think I forgot to mention that I'm a motocross athlete in the off-season. That's what I went to the Olympics for."
The whole team was a little stunned by this, Ashlyn asked, "Wait, how come I've never seen you on any of the tournaments before?! And I think someone that was an Olympian would be very recognizable."
"You probably have seen me, I'm red skull." Y/n proudly stated.
"You know after the two stunts you just pulled I'm not even going to question you. I can't fucking believe this."
Ashlyn tried to contain how much she was freaking out on the inside, while Christen asked something a lot of the others were wondering too.
"Red skull?"
"Yeah, it's a reference to my red uniform and helmet with a big skull on the back. A motocross athlete that nobody knows the identity of. Well... except you guys."
"Don't sell yourself short, L/n. You do some of the most dangerous stunts and you've up the fastest times I've ever seen on the track."
Becky protectively wrapped an arm around Y/n’s waist, Y/n not really minding it.
Y/n turned to Becky wanting an honest answer, "Are you okay with this Becks? Like really okay with me doing this?"
"Are you kidding?! I'm more than okay with this, you were so freaking awesome." Becky's enthusiasm shocked Y/n.
"Really?"
"Yes really. Just promise me to wear the helmet."
"'Kay I promise."
"How are you okay with this?! What do you MEAN IT'S FINE?!" Kelley interrupted the moment. Briefly grabbing Y/n’s shoulders and shaking her.
"You feeling alright Kelley?"
"I'M FINE HOW ARE YOU FINE WITH THIS?! You tripped on rocks!? And you wanna race around a track FULL OF THEM?!" Kelley yelled flailing her arms around.
"Wait, Kelley how do you know I lost my footing because of the rocks?"
Kelley fell deathly silent then quietly mumbled, "What do you mean, I don't know what you are talking about."
"Kelley."
"Imayormaynothavekickedtherocksontothetrackaccidentlyofcousrsebutthey'restillrocks."
"Kelley?"
"Hum?"
"Run."
And in that moment Kelly feared for her life running as fast as she could. Y/n ran after her, shouting at her in a different language.
"I didn't know Y/n was bilingual," Sonnett remarked.
"Isn't that German?" Ashlyn asked recognizing the sound of it.
Almost everyone turned to Ali, she eventually said, "Something about impressing Becky, and how Kelley ruined it. And something about stupid rocks."
Ali shrugged her shoulders. Becky asked a general question, "Should we stop them?"
Alyssa answered, "Yes. But are we going to?"
They all collectively looked at each other, shaking their heads, "Na."
Right after that, they all see Y/n tackle Kelley.
"What about now?"
"Nope."

I will hopefully have CATastrophe Pt. 2 out soon. If you’re wondering why that one is because 6 days post surgery and this has been my view 95% of the time. She also scolds anyone who tries to take me out of the house. 🥹😹😻

Who’s The Best Aunt? (Becky Sauerbrunn x Reader)
Tumblr media
Anonymous Request:  Ei for the Christmas prompts, can you do one were R is Becky Sauerburnn (single mom) daughter (15 y/o) and is kinda like the favorite niece of the team because they know her since she was little and everyone send her her gifts? In a way that everyone wants to get her the best one.
“You’ve got them all wrapped around your finger, don’t you?” Your mother, Becky asks as she places yet another large box at your feet.
You shrug, grinning.
“It’s a gift.”
Becky shakes her head as you open the box revealing an incredibly expensive pair Nike shoes, courtesy of Kelley O’Hara.
“They spoil you more than I do.” Becky laughs and you giggle as you read the card that was inside the shoe box.
“From your favorite aunt and best gift giver, Kelley.”
Becky rolls her eyes as she walks away, carrying the large empty cardboard box in hand, mumbling to herself.
“They’re always trying to outdo one another I swear. It isn’t even Christmas yet.”
                                                            ***
By the time Christmas does eventually roll around, which means it’s time for the annual USWNT Christmas party, you’d already received a number of gifts from your mother’s other teammates consisting of expensive electronics, more shoes, new clothes and a number of other things that now filled your room.
“The tree is going to probably be sitting on a stack of boxes that are all for you.” Becky winks, wrapping her arms around you and you laugh.
“I’m not complaining.”
“Well of course you aren’t.” She ruffles your hair and you pout.
“MOM...!”
Becky laughs ass you try to tame the wild mess that is now your hair, the two of you walking towards the home where the others have already gathered.
Becky doesn’t even knock on the front door before it swings open and Ashlyn is pulling you into a hug.
“Hey little Sauerbrunn! Get my shoes?” She asks with a wink and you nod excitedly.
“Yeah I did! I love them.”
“But she loves my shoes better.” You hear a familiar voice and suddenly, Ashlyn is putting you down so Kelley can wrap her arms around you.
“Nah she liked what I got her more.” Ali says and Ashlyn turns to her, brow furrowed.
“You got her something else?” She asks and Ali shrugs as you wiggle free from Kelley’s hug and hug Ali.
“Maybe.” Ali smirks and Ashlyn’s eyes widen.
“I thought we agreed we’d be the best ‘joint aunts’!” Ashlyn says and Ali shrugs.
“Sorry hon, but I’m the favorite aunt.”
                                                            ***
Your mother was in fact right, the tree wasn’t sitting on boxes but instead surrounded by them, A LOT of them.
The second you were in the room you were swarmed by her teammates, all hugging you and of course, asking you about the presents they had already sent you.
Becky slips an arm around your middle.
“They’re all ridiculous.” She says as the group of women bicker about who had already given the best gift, not even counting the ones under the tree.
This had been an ongoing constant in your life, you’d been introduced to the team at a young age, with Becky being a single mom and all, she didn’t want you just to be left to be raised with a babysitter, or something like that, so wherever she went, you went.
And the team doted on you, buying you presents and everything you need, in essence you had around 20 parents.
You loved every single one of them like family, and no matter how many times they’d asked you who was your favorite, you couldn’t answer, because they all were.
You love every one of them equally, loved when Tobin taught you how to dribble the ball like she does, loved when Christen took you out shopping or to yoga, loved when Alex and Kelley took you to theme parks, not Disney world though ‘clears throat here’.
Every moment you spent with all of them was a treasure and you cherished each and every second.
“Why don’t we open presents?” Alyssa says with a smile and you grin, knowing that the tree was literally surrounded with gifts for you.
“Yeah!”
                                                            ***
To say the team went overboard would be an understatement.
You were literally surrounded by pairs of shoes, clothes, a surfboard, a hover board, anything and everything and you had it, the prices for each and every item way more than you ever expected someone to spend on you.
Even your mom was surprised, her eyes wide as they darted to each and every item.
“Don’t you guys think you went a little overboard?” Becky asks and the other women scoff.
“No, she’s our niece.” Julie rolls her eyes as she tosses a candy cane to Alyssa.
“But you spent so much money!” You say, your eyes widen and Megan shakes her head.
“We could never spend too much on you.”
You take a deep breath, your eyes darting around the presents around you before you look around the room at your family.
“You know you don’t need to spend all this money on me to show me you love me.” You shrug. “I know you love me and I love all of you, equally. You’re all the best aunts, there’s no way I could choose one.”  You smile kindly and everyone glances around the room.
“I could never love any of you more than the others, because you’re all kind of like my moms, I grew up with you and I love you all so much.” You shrug, turning your head back and forth to look at all the expensive items around you.
“You could buy me something from the dollar store and I’d be happy.” You grin up at the women, your eyes widening when you see tears in all of their eyes.
You jump to your feet, shaking your head and your hands in front of you.
“No! Don’t cry, I don’t want you guys to cry, I’m sorry I-
You’re cut off when the women surround you, all of them wrapping their arms around one another in a massive group hug.
Your mom wraps her arms around you from behind as the other’s squish you in the middle.
“We love you too Y/N.” Kelley says as she ruffles your hair.
“And we’re sorry if our fighting over who was the better aunt upset you.” Alex adds and Christen and Tobin nod.
“We all love you and just, we watched you grow up.” Megan shrugs. “And hearing you think of us as your moms...”
Christen wipes a stray tear away from her cheek as Tobin lets out a sniffle.
“It means a lot to us.”
You grin, tears in your own eyes.
“It’s true... You filled the role my dad, and I mean, who needs a dad when I have over 20 moms?” You snort and the women laugh.
Eventually they relinquish their hold on you and they all glance around the room, though your mom still keeps her arms around you.
“I love you Y/N.” She says as she leans down to kiss the top of your head and you smile.
“I love you too.”
Kelley lets out a hum as her eyes dart from present to present.
“I guess we should take some of this stuff back?” She says and your eyes widen.
“Now, I didn’t say that...” You shrug and the woman turn to you, all snickering.
“But after this you want us to stop buying you so many presents?” Ali asks and Ashlyn smirks, already knowing your answer.
“Now I never said you had to stop buying me stuff.” You chuckle nervously and the women all let out a collective snort.
“So, you want us to stop bickering...” Alex starts and Carli smirks.
“BUT you want us to keep buying you a lot presents.”
The room goes silent as your cheeks flush.
“Yes?”
The women in the room all bark out laughs, every one of them laughing so hard tears are in their eyes.
You turn around in your mother’s arms and give her an apologetic grin, she only shakes her head and leans down to press a kiss to your forehead.
“We love you kid.” You hear Ashlyn laugh and you turn back around, wearing a massive grin.
“Even if you are a little schemer.” Morgan laughs and you pout.
“I’m no schemer.”
Becky laughs.
“Yes, yes you are.”
It’s then out of the corner of your eye you see the babies of the team, Tierna, Mallory, Emily, Lindsey and Sam all watching the group curiously.
“Are you guys ever going to buy us this many presents?” Sonnett smirks, already knowing the answer.
Everyone of your teammates look towards her with brows arched.
“I’ll take that as a no.”

St. Louis Special (Alyssa Naeher x Becky Sauerbrunn)
Tumblr media
Alyssa’s hands were shaking as she waited for Becky. It had taken Alyssa by surprise when the older defender asked her out after their game in New Jersey. Becky had been very confident and Alyssa had been wanting to go out with Becky for months now. Hope had teased Alyssa about not going after her shot, but Alyssa also remembered that it had been Kelley who asked Hope out originally. Apparently goalkeepers on the USWNT weren’t instigators when it came to their own relationships.
“Alyssa, you could have waited inside the hotel,” Becky said with a chuckle. “Are you ready to go?”
“Y-yeah. You look really good,” Alyssa said and Becky thanked her. “So, what are we doing today?”
“St. Louis special. We’ll go see the Arch, get lunch, walk around, get a couple drinks, and then we can see the Blues,” Becky said and Alyssa liked the sound of that. “They’re playing the Devils, but I think they have it in the bag.”
“You never know,” Alyssa said and Becky shrugged it off. She had confidence in her home team. The hotel wasn’t too far from the Arch, so that drive didn’t leave a lot of time for Alyssa to think.
“Relax, today is going to be fun,” Becky promised. Alyssa took a few deep breaths and then followed Becky out of the car. The view from the Arch was amazing and Alyssa couldn’t take her eyes off of it. “Hey, would it be okay if I kissed you right now?”
“Y-yeah,” Alyssa stuttered out as she realized what Becky asked her. Becky put her hand on Alyssa’s cheek and turned her head slightly. Becky pressed her lips against Alyssa’s and Alyssa cautiously kissed her back. Becky broke the kiss and then the two of them left the Arch. Alyssa wasn’t really surprised that they ate at Panera, but she enjoyed it. They walked around downtown for a bit and then Becky found a bar for them to get a couple drinks at before the game.
“Are you having fun?” Becky asked, a little nervously.
“Yeah, I am. I haven’t had this much fun on a date before,” Alyssa promised her. Becky made sure they had enough time to enjoy each other’s company before the game. Alyssa was secretly rooting for the Devils, but Becky understood that. The game was a bit intense, but Becky made sure to keep the feeling between them light.
“No, damn it,” Becky swore as New Jersey got another goal. There were seconds left and no way that St. Louis would even begin to tie the game. The final buzzer went off and Becky went to get Alyssa a Blues jersey before they left. “Sorry the game sucked.”
“It was a good game,” Alyssa said as she held onto the jersey. “Thank you for today, it was fun.”
“When do you go back to Chicago?” Becky asked and Alyssa had to check her phone calendar.
“Next Monday,” Alyssa said and Becky smiled.
“Good, we should do something before then,” Becky said and Alyssa nodded. Becky walked Alyssa back to her hotel and gave her a kiss at the door before she drove herself home.
