He’d probably start making them himself and gain lots of followers asking him about his techniques. He wouldn’t show his face but accidentally does a face reveal when he’s cleaning a bathroom mirror or something.

I think we're in massively different timezones cause I always get these very late at night, but I did indeed need to drink water so thanks for that 😂

The cicadas have come out where I am and laying awake at night listening to them had me thinking very soft Shiggy thoughts.

I'm a big outdoorsy type person and I take a lot of hikes. I love the city setting for most of my fics, but can you just imagine taking shigs out into the mountains. Getting lost in all the foliage. He doesn't have to hide his face and neither do you. No one is watching. There is just this vast expanse of greenery and dew and the cicadas sing through the trees, screaming that this place is alive and so are both of you.

I think he'd really like it there.

I'd like to hook their little shells all over his hoodie and then swim together in the creek.

Man I love my whimsical/spooky audio dramas that introduce you to the main character like "so here's our guy, he's always optimistic, he really cares for others, and we've just generally made him such a ray of sunshine that every time he speaks you want to give him a hug" and they maintain this until like 75% of the way through the story when they go "Haha get trolled he's been extremely fucked up the whole time, also he's basically god" and we're just totally fine with that as an audience

SO at the beginning of Birdcage Blue and Yellow, we hear a clock being wound up and then the ticking of the clock provides a rhythm for the song. At the beginning of Farewell To the Fields (I think that's what it's called, don't come for me, I've been fixating on Birdcage Blue and Yellow), that tinkling sound - I perceived it as a music box.

What if these are meant to represent each other?

Cole is the clock, forever on bought time, forever on the run.

Clemmie is the figure on the music box, expected to be nothing less than perfect, always, overlooked as no more than beauty.

The fact that these elements are included in these songs of backstories? Their stories were woven together before they even met.

We've heard John shout for help before. Take episode 1, for example: "Help! somebody help me!". The plea of a desperate man. He's crying to anyone who will listen.

But compare that to the latest episode: "Sherlock! Sherlock, help!". He calls to the person he knows will always save him. The person he finds comfort in. Even in his panicked state, his mind always goes back to Sherlock.

Heyy so I was rewatching Tintin in Tibet (again), aand I think everyone deserves to know that Tintin was told to give up on Chang and that he was being stupid (paraphrased) a grand total of 15 TIMES - since they arrived in Katmandu. (Yes I counted, your point?)

You heard me, that's not including The Scene™. You know, The Scene: the only time Tintin ever cries in the 90s series, because he thinks Chang is dead. Yeah, the scene where the Captain tries to comfort him, but Tintin, distraught with grief, won't listen to a word of it, and even starts shouting at him, I'd wager with the same ferocity as in Explorers on the Moon when the Captain endangered the lives of the whole crew.

Oh, I also compiled some quotes from the episode. If you care.

".. your devotion to Chang.." - Tharkey, telling Tintin that he has taught him an important lesson about loyalty.

"..in my heart, I feel it!" - Tintin, the most scientific person to ever exist, trying to explain his irrationality to a hugely important religious leader who's telling him to give up.

".. the love you show is noble.." - The Grand Abbott, literally stating Tintin has love for Chang. GUYS. GUYS DO YOU SEE THIS
