I really have to know what people thought who watched Freeform SIREN live, airing weekly, not knowing yet that it would turn poly, seeing this heterosexual couple pining after a female mermaid.

What did they thought was going on? Did they believed it would turn poly eventually, or more like: oh they seem to be really good friends?

Supernatural fandom, I summon you. Siren (TV 2018) fandom, I summon you.

I offer you in sacrifice an idea for a fic crossover Supernatural X Siren (TV 2018).

Dean and Castiel visit the town of Bristol Cove because they think there is a hunt, think there's something to kill out there and the town is experiencing a series of bad events.

Dumb accidents at sea, annoying problems with data and banks. Small things that pile up and pile up to make it dangerous. (Dean and Castiel get locked out their véhicule during a storm while coming into town)

You couple that with the various deaths and the Pownall history and it's "little American town, monster on the loose snacking on inhabitants" scenario, and Castiel thinks the town is cursed.

Dean goes undercover because they know jack shit about boats and how to manoeuvre one, and the fisherman are hella cagy. Makes friend with Xander, works with him on the boat for a while, and sees Maddie, Ryn and Ben out on the shore several times, the last two going under for super long periods of time.

He meets Maddie in person while helping bring something hurt by the nets in the medical center, where Castiel got hired too.

Ben actually likes Castiel because it reminds him how Ryn is and Maddie is wary as hell, because she got the full frontal "I can gaze into your soul, you're a good woman, Madison Bishop" the first day he started here.

-> they come after Ryn gave birth to her baby and the baby is living with them.

-> Ben became a merman, but lives most of his time out of the water

-> Throuple is strong but there are still some issues because Maddie can feel the distance between her and RynxBen, they are working their issues and Dean/Castiel is a healthy snack.

-> Ben and Ryn have no idea that the supernatural exists, Maddie has an inkling because she feels feathers all over her when Castiel is in the room. And Haida legends are true.

I realize that Siren fandom is pretty small, but the design,brutality and awesomeness of that show is perfectly on brand with supernatural. It just lacks the sass. If you haven't watched it yet, I'm begging you, please do. I'm rewatching it and it's still beautiful.

So yeah that's what I'm currently working on. but if you have any ideas, or specific scenes that you want to see in there, I'm open to suggestions and influence.

Currently watching siren season 3 and I don't understand why they break Ben and maddie up. I get she's upset Ben didn't save Ian but his car went over a cliff into the ocean what did she expect him to do? Like yes he had the chance but why did he even dive in to begin with? That man was gonna hit them with his car if Ryn didn't make him swerve. Tbh Maddie always holds Ben to an insane high standard. I'm just a little annoyed about it. And the way she's not mad at Ryn at all who if anything, was in a better situation to save him and also didn't.

Kinda on Ben tho for being weird af about it. I would have let that secret die in the water

ryn, maddie and ben from freeform’s siren. they primarily handle wildlife cases in the pacific northwest. bonus if it’s an aquatic job because duh ryn could fuck them over in a heartbeat (perks of being a mermaid)

neal caffrey has his own team, mozzie included. el joins on occasion but peter has to maintain plausible deniability so he’s a no-go. mostly stays within new england but will travel if a job necessitates it

villanelle and eve have their own team but are specifically a skilled duo. they mainly operate in europe

the not me team. all of them are pretty versatile so often they can switch between roles. black and white play the same person sometimes because twin fuckery just works. they mainly operate in thailand because of their passion for social justice within their own country but they will take jobs in surrounding areas on occasion

idk I just think patrick jane from the mentalist would have a hobby of ripping off corrupt rich people in his spare time. lisbon also has to maintain plausible deniability so he mostly joins other groups in the area in need of thievery or grifting skills. stays within the US since he has a family and a job

nolan, john and sarah from red notice. they are mostly in it for the crime and it took them a while to warm up to the idea of not keeping famous art, but helping people is alright they guess. they take jobs internationally- they aren’t picky

the alice in borderland group once they get out of the simulation. they’re jaded from their time there and screwing over powerful people is kind of their niche now. operates out of japan

the sense8 cluster. takes jobs globally because they’re from all over. one of the most talented international crews because of their combined knowledge and skills

the old guard crew when they don’t feel like killing people lmao

jaskier, yennefer, and geralt are still kicking and since there are no more monsters to hunt or kingdoms to reluctantly overthrow, they took this up as a hobby to pass their time. ciri also participates, as well as various other witchers
