out of curiosity, what *is* the most self-indulgent thing you've ever written? :)

HAAAAHAHA WELL. i noodle around a bunch in original fic and there’s a couple other fanfic projects that will eventually be published; you can check my “project status” tag to get an idea. Also, the sequel to ITHLYN is shaping up to be all the fluff and domesticity and fun that wouldn’t fit into ITHLYN itself. Honestly, all fanfic for me is super indulgent, it’s basically me writing the story just so i can read it myself.

sometimes i think about that fic “the blood in my veins” by @greenbergsays and i remember that part when steve’s high-key dying and bucky’s freaking out and wraps around steve’s body and says “god can’t have you, you’re mine” and like. please

8. Which fic this year was most fun to write?

“Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It” was one of those short things that I kind of giggled all the way through writing, back in the halcyon days of April 2016. “Tracing One Warm Line” and “Sibylla ex Ampulla” were both fun in the sense that the ideas really kind of took over my brain and I needed to write them--satisfying, I guess, might be a better word than fun? But the kind of satisfying that did not involve a lot of suffering in the process, they were fun to write all the way along, and both also featured the slightly-disbelieving-laughter variety of “what the fuck am I writing? Who is going to READ THIS??” as opposed to the, you know, grimly concerned version. 

So, uh, stories about Bucky being minus some number of limbs. Is apparently what I found fun this year.
