any plans for Fernsong?

I do have some plans for Fernsong, seeing as he will not be Ivypool's mate anymore!

He is a big player in The Thunder Rebellion, and gets quite the scar from the ensuing battle on his left shoulder. He got that from Finleap! His ears also get shredded by one of Splashstar's enforcers during Dark Times, and is in the group that Frostpaw builds to try and bring Splashstar down.

He gets his own short story book with his sisters, Sorrelstripe and Strawberrytuft as part of the Missing Moons collection, a "What happened in between The Last Hope/The Hopeless Storm and A Vision Of Shadows?" He is close with his mentor Rosepetal, and learns to be gentle but firm from her.

He has a mate, Volefern, a reddish brown spotted tabby trans tom with short, sleek fur, amber eyes, a long tail, and long whiskers. Mistleberry (Speckletail's daughter) and Stempelt's (Runningwind and Redtail's son) had him, and his brother Frogsong.

Though Volefern gets pregnant, the ferocious cat is still determined to be a warrior. When Volefern gives birth, Fernsong steps in and is the queen of the litter, seen comforting their two lovely children, Eaglekit and Meltkit.

Meltkit transitions during his Apprenticeship to become Shellpaw!

He is incredibly close with his kids, and regularly protects them. During Lost Stars, he is seen doting on Eaglewing, who caught a cold. He and Shellfur have a MASSIVE falling out during TBC when Shellfur supports Bramblefake. Shellfur is insecure about himself, as he has a friend in Riverclan (Cypresswind, the saved Cypresspaw) and he doesn't want to get in trouble for being friends with her. He shoots down their friendship and gets into a huge public fight with his dad about the codebreakers.

Fernsong fights for the rebels, getting a huge scar on his shoulder from Finleap, one of Bramblefake's biggest supporters. He recovers well though!

But... I can't say he'll be having a good time during A Starless Clan, or Dark Times.

The end of A Starless Clan has a patrol of cats, lead by his daughter Eaglewing, against this fake "Splashstar". He is a threat to other cats who do not meet his standards, and will kill any cat who displeases him, showing his loyal followers with glory and power... He needs to go.

Eaglewing manages to grapple him, holding on tight as Splashstar thrashes around, rolling to try and get her off, but Eaglewing does not yield. She reaches around and sinks her teeth into the side of his neck. A messy kill, but at least it's over.

Eaglewing stands over him for a moment before she declares his death. At last, this faker is gone, and Riverclan can have a proper leader that actually has the blessing of 9-

Splashstar moves as quick as lightning and slits Eaglewing's throat.

Guess he wasn't lying.

The war begins with Splashstar and Berrystar as its main opponents versus Skyclan, Windclan and Thunderclan. Sure, it's 2 v 3, but the others don't have leaders themselves, and Skyclan is on the verge of civil war due to now having 2 deputies.

Things get even worse for poor Fernsong when he and his husband fight during the war against Riverclan and Shadowclan.

His ears are shredded by Duskfur, though he does give her quite the scar on her left cheek!

When their beloved daughter-in-law Fernstripe is targeted by Berrystar personally, Volefern dives in and attacks her, ripping her ear terribly before Berrystar slashes his belly and chest. Volefern bleeds out, and Fernsong takes one of Berrystar's lives.

He is deeply saddened by the loss of his mate and husband, but he feels a tad better when Fernstripe gives birth to her and Shellfur's kits. 3 daughters and a son.

Fernsong feels like his family is going to be okay, like even with all the tragedy, there can still be hope, and for him, that hope lives in his grandchildren.

I wanted to add Goldenstar as well, but then I would have three ginger/brown boys and also I think the one that fits him the most is Alder's base so I might make a separate one of his later.

Alder's eyes are darker instead of paler is because they're more grey now because he kills in death.

As for why he looks more pale, I have no idea.

Fallingghost, Warmfall and Oddseeker found some Snipclan kits playing by the border and returned them to their clan

The kits are Fallenkit (The grey kit on the left) and Robinkit (The white with gray patches on the right)

The black and white cat is Berrystar, SnipClans leader and the white cat with brown patches next to Berrystar is Porsche, the mother of the kits

Snipclan lives on a lower area of the mountain where there's more grass and trees

That's why I changed it on here and when I can on DA I will to. These are my characters to a book me and my sister are making called flaming shadows. Redstorm is hers but the rest are mine

If Cloverfoot dies and gets replaced by some generic Shadowclan tom I actually think I'll go insane. Not because I'm like the number one Cloverfoot fan or anything but the fact that the last known Shadowclan leader that was a molly was SHADOWSTAR AS IN THE FOUNDER OF SHADOWCLAN is so fucking stupid. If she dies and we get Berryheart or Dovewing or any other molly as deputy then I'm fine with that (I would actually love either of those options) but god do we not need another fucking tom leading Shadowclan.

Also side note, if Dovewing and Ivypool become deputies or even leaders that would be so amazing (can you imagine the conflict?), I hope the Erins don't pussy out and we actually get the aggressive ass combo of Squirrelstar (literally promising to wage war on Shadowclan) and Ivypool because if there is actual war in WARRIOR cats I will ascend to the heavens from joy.

Warrior cats AU Eternal duo? 👀 (Eret and Foolish)

eret would be an ex-kittypet who wilbur was friends with named crown jewel. wilbur confides in her about clan matters, and him admitting to them that his father has no idea hes trying to start a revolt against dreamclan is what allows dreamstar to know that l'tomclan is relatively weak with it only having one adult warrior. after some battles and sally dropping off foxkit, wilbur breaks down and asks crown to join the clan, which she agrees to as long as she can keep going back to her house life. they become the deputy named berrycrown, and sootstar gets his three lives with berrycrown and beehearts guidance (beeheart and mothbite [tommy] are given their names early to look more like a real clan)

berrycrown is mystified by clan life and by the idea of starclan, getting three lives, all of it. and when dreamstar offers to let her be leader in his stead.. they accept. they lead the clan cats down a tunnel and let the main cats of dreamclan attack l'tomclan. sootstar loses a life and the apprentices are badly injured. in a small show of regret, berrycrown pleads for dreamstar to let sootstar take the apprentices back to camp. he agrees, and berrystar is given a crown of brambles and led to her ceremony.

his story stays pretty much the same, but since they can stay in the story a bit more consistently now they do have more chances to try and make up for what he did. he often allows other cats to visit their kittypet home since his owner is pretty relaxed about it all. they get a toy crown to replace the brambles when she throws the bramble crown away

as for foolish, hes a cat named goldenfin. hes from a long long line of reincarnations, as is berrystar, but while goldenfin has gotten his guidance and has fully come into his inheritance, crown got pretty much abandoned by her ancestor when he became a kittypet. goldenfin remembers him and berrystars past lifes, she does not.

the rest of his story stays pretty similar outside of some changes (his previous life was a df cat, giving him a connection to the crimson tree [the egg], his kids are ones captain seafoam [puffy] finds randomly), and that he makes a deal with XD to get his life back when he becomes a dark forest spirit. eventually, XD comes back to get his end of the deal, and fully grants goldenstar (mostly) infinite lives in exchange for his full worship. and, later on, agreement to take souls or else his soul will stay in the dark forest and he wont get a further reincarnation. again, most of the rest of his story stays the same (sharkskin leather pelt and shark teeth are things each reincarnation of him has a version of, mostly in that whenever they find their versions thats when they start getting guidance)

So... Quick question. This is a huge thing. Spoilers under the cut. This concerns Tigerstar/Tigerheart, Lightleap, and Sunbeam.

So, ASC's ending has been damn near set in stone. Frostpaw is too late coming home, and Berryheart's influence is too strong, voting Tigerstar out.

Cloverfoot, tragically, is still on her fated path of death. She will not be making it out of this.

Berrystar still steps up.

But... Who is leader next when she is deposed?

One of 2 options here.

Either Tigerheart gets reinstated, now under the new name Heartstar, the name he prefers over Tigerstar. He is given his lives back and allowed to reclaim the place Starclan chose for him when he was born. He makes a member of the resistance his Deputy, but Lightleap stays in Thunderclan to be with Sunbeam. A member of The Resistance is made his Deputy, most likely Lioneye, Gullswoop, or

Or...

Tigerheart still returns to Shadowclan with his family, after Berrystar is killed by his daughter An Unknown Thunderclan Cat during Hollyleaf and Sunbeam'a raid. But he decides that Leadership just... Isn't for him. Dovewing and his children need him to be a father first. He steps down and lets Lightleap take her place as Lightstar. Pouncestep is her deputy.

Sunbeam may end up bidding a tearful farewell to Thunderclan, and become mates with Lightstar, who she has been planning with and truly connections with throughout the arc, growing into herself as a person and learning to prioritize what she wants. The two would grow close, realizing that not only does Lightleap have nothing to prove, but Sunbeam can stand up for herself without a scene ripped from Disney Channel.

She may also stay in Thunderclan, and, as Nightheart has left Thunderclan no matter the timeline, possibly be mates with any of the 3 lovely candidates: Myrtlebloom, Bayshine, and Thriftear.

(If Thriftear, she'll be a big part of Thriftear's Heart, the Ivypool's Heart replacement!)

Story:    

He met Quickstar at the border when he was ten moons old, recently kicked out of the abandoned building he’d been living in. Clan life sounded so amazing that he joined it in a heartbeat, leaving behind everything he once knew.   

He got the name Berryclaw, and tried to ignore the way his new Clanmates looked at him.  He finally convinced the elderly medicine cat, Morningshade, to tell him about Berrywhisper, who apparently looked exactly like him.   

He had a normal life, became mates with Shadetail, and became a well-respected warrior. 

He would later learn that in the moons approaching the war between Clubmossclan, Beeclan, and a gang of rogues. Morningshade received a prophecy: as berries rot and branches fall, sunlight would guide the way.   

The next few moons were tough ones, with the whole Clan gloomy and resentful. 

Berryclaw and Quickstar became very close friends, and he became basically a second deputy alongside Owen. 

Berryclaw and Deeppatch began developing crushes on each other, and both grew distant from their own mates. It wasn’t long after that Deepbranch broke up with his mate, and he and Berryclaw became mates in secret. Together, they had two kits, Thymekit and Kestrelkit. Berryclaw’s heart ached as Shadetail’s look of betrayal. 

Tensions ran higher than ever, and war broke out between the rogues, Clubmossclan, and Beeclan.  A large portion of their Clan were working with Root, who was playing all sides and tearing the Clans apart from the inside.  

Clanmates turned on each other during a bloody battle, with twenty six of them dying. Berryclaw pulled as many cats away from the fire as he could, away from the ruthless fighting. Despite his best efforts, many cats were left with severe injuries. Most of them weren’t so lucky.   

Owen was one of them, and retired after having both his legs broken.   Berryclaw was promoted to deputy, and all Clans came away in shambles. The warrior, Sunny, was always by his side as his friend, and Sunny promised to protect Berryclaw’s newest litter: Brokenkit, Mintkit, RowakKit, Loudkit.   

His oldest daughters earned their warrior names, miraculously having both survived, and Berryclaw took this as an omen of good future. Kestrelear even had a daughter, Maplekit!   

Then, Quickstar died from an infection he’d had for many seasons, and Berrystar found himself leading a Clan overnight. He appointed Sunny as his deputy, and Berrystar always wondered about the approving looks MorningShade would send them.   

Two years into his leadership, Berrystar found two dead cats in a badger den reeling of sickness. The den was stuffed with lavender, and Berrystar felt a pang in his heart for the young cats. He dragged them away from the den so that he could give them a proper Clan burial, even as Starclan begged him to leave them.   

The cats who helped him bury them got sick, and it spread through the Clan so fast they barely had time to identify it. Wolfcough. Barely ten cats were left in each Clan by the end, and for a long year, the remaining cats had tried to fight against the sickness. 

Berrystar tried to separate the Clan into groups, isolating those at risk. The land was deemed cursed, and the very few cats who lived followed Sunny and Berrystar into a new territory.    

Half way through the journey, Berrystar was plagued by nightmares of shadowy creature with bloody eyes calling his name. Starclan cut off all contact with him, and he told Sunny he couldn’t go to the new land, and that Sunny would have to lead them himself.   

BerryStar returned to the camps, rotting bodies piled high, and curled up by the corpses of his friends until the sickness claimed him too.

Mom, Berrystar, Prancefoot, Dawnheart... everyone I loved, everyone I knew. Just... gone. And all I could do was wait for them to leave, keep Tuftkit quiet. At least Mousekit has a brain.

I just wish I didn't have to watch them die.
