You and Daniel grew up living next to each other in Perth, Australia. Your parents were close with Daniel's so it was obvious you two would be close. Your family would spend weekends supporting Daniel in his karting and Formula 3 days.

Once Daniel got into Formula 1, he would invite you to races. You would always say yes because he was your best friend and you had feelings for him. Of course he didn't know because you didn't want to distract him from getting a World Champion title.

Every time you were invited to a race, Daniel would take you to F1 events. He would beam you up as his girl friend. Not the girl he was dating but a girl that he's been childhood friends with.

It hurt you so much when he would tell people you were just friends. You wanted to be more but you didn't want to distract him from getting a World Champion title. You were in a cloud of sparkling dust as you ignored the questions people asked about you two.

"Hey Y/N," Daniel calls your name. You were currently watching the mechanics fix Daniel's car. "Do you mind if I hold you like this?" Daniel puts your back on his chest as he wraps his arms around your waist.

You blush by this interaction. Daniel has never been this close to you before. "What are you doing Daniel?" You giggle to hide your blushed cheeks.

"Just doing an experiment on you." He smiles at you while the cameras are on you. Daniel then kisses you on the cheek. "You're the chosen one." He whispers in your ear so the media couldn't hear what he was saying. You laugh at his whisper while he continues holding you like this.

Later that day, Daniel won the Monaco Grand Prix. He was so happy about winning that he ran up to you and kissed you before going on the podium. You were happy at the moment because your best friend had won and kissed you. That high of happiest ended when Daniel did his post-race interviews.

"So Daniel, we saw that you kissed your best friend before going onto the podium. Are you and Y/N finally dating?" The interviewer asks Daniel.

Daniel smiles before he answers back to the interview. "Great question," He laughs and continues. "No we're not. It just felt right in the moment. She's my best friend and will always be that. She's always supported me through my F1 career and my passion to win a World Championship."

At the moment your whole world came crumbling down. It showed you that F1 and him winning a World Championship was bigger than your relationship with Daniel.

After the post-race interviews were over, Daniel went to his driver room to change into normal clothes. He then sees that you're crying. "Why are you crying Y/N?"

"You know you're a big jerk Daniel." More tears start falling as you continue to explain. "This whole weekend you've been playing with my feelings and I was thought you were trying to imply that you have the same feelings I do. But then you embarrass me to the whole world saying we're just friends."

Daniel watches you as tears continue to fall down your face. He didn't apologize or even comfort you. Instead he changes and leaves the room to head to his Monaco apartment. That night you decided to fly back home not wanting to celebrate with Daniel after his Monaco win.

For a moment you knew cosmic love, but it ended you being sent back to where you came from.

After the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, you've been hitting the gym nonstop. You would listen to Taylor Swift songs and cry while running on the treadmill. Once you got home to your Melbourne apartment, your mom called you to see how you were feeling.

"How are you feeling Y/N?" she asks while you were cooking lunch for yourself.

Calcinidae Bay Lot Tour: the Public Schools

Let's take a closer look at a few of Calcinidae Bay's community lots - its public schooling! This screenshot is actually three lots, with two lots overlapped using the Lot Adjuster. On the left is the high school, on the right is the primary school, and between them is a shared gymnasium and a semi-public oval (sports field).

As always, these lots are based on shell challenges. The high school and primary school are actually shells that were made for me by @hugelunatic as stocking stuffers back in 2022 (I didn't forget about them!) The shell from the gym/oval lot is actually the smaller canteen building, with the gymnasium being auxiliary (because it had to be such a specific size/shape), and that shell is a 4T2 adaptation of LilSimsie's "Yeehaw" Shell Challenge that I grabbed off the gallery.

Starting with the high school:

If you peeked at the original shell, you'll see there was a two-storey 1x1 "column "room" in the middle of the lot, which made me think of a bell/clock tower and inspired me to use these shells for schools. Normally when I adapt a TS4 shell challenge to TS2 I choose the placement & orientation on the lot, but because these lots were made natively in TS2 I decided to keep the lot size & distribution as they were. This gave me a lot of additional space around the main building that was perfect for adding extra amenities like a library.

The ground floor of the high school has an administration area, lockers, mixed bathroom, sick bay, staff room, and two general-use classrooms that can each fit six students.

The teacher's lounge/staff room, and a small display/awards case. I needed something to do with that little triangular pocket, and now it's one of my favourite features. :)

Upstairs is two specialised classrooms - a moderate science lab and an arts room. I would have liked at least a home ec classroom as well, but I guess that'll be reserved for the eventual private school.

The canteen (cafeteria) is a separate demountable building with outdoor seating, some of it under a shade cloth. The library is also a separate building with a small computer bay and a group study area.

Moving on to the primary school, a much older and smaller building with some minor remodeling so the two schools look cohesive:

The inspiration for my gameplay/lots is a mish-mash of different cultural influences, but I play my schools like the standard Australian system; kids start in reception (about age 5) and attend primary school all the way through to year 6 or 7, then go to high school from year 6/7 through to year 12. Separate middle schools are much less common, and this matches with how the game itself handles kid vs. teen education.

I design my lots kind of "representationally", to get the best balance between realism and playability. While I enjoy including some details that don't provide actual gameplay, I don't want to build enormous, cumbersome lots just to achieve a 1:1 scale when my Sims will never actually need that much space. Plus, most shell challenges tend to be smaller, which I like. Hence why this school has only two classrooms, one for junior primary and a more structured classroom for upper primary.

There is a small admin area downstairs. Upstairs is the sick bay and a modest teacher's lounge/staff room.

The primary school doesn't have its own library, but it does have a small separate building that we in Australia would call OSHC - Out of School Hours Care. It's a service parents can book to drop their children off before school starts, or arrange for them to attend after school finishes until they can pick them up. They provide snacks and some edu-tainment activities. Lots of kids also attend OSHC over school holidays.

The primary school canteen/cafeteria is also a separate building. Both school canteens use the University cafeteria stove, so with the right mod students will be able to grab food there. In addition to an outdoor eating area and a small playground, there is a little produce patch between the two buildings where students are taught about horticulture.

And finally, the lot that joins the two schools, the shared gymnasium and Calcinidae Oval.

The canteen/cafeteria itself would generally not be open during school hours. Instead, the school and/or local council would operate it for profit or hire it out to a third party when the oval was being used for local sports teams and other events on weekends, holidays, and after school hours. Right now it's set up for just such a soccer match.

The inside of the "tuckshop". There is a bathroom on the bottom floor accessible from the outside of the building, while the top floor has two changing rooms for students or local teams.

The gymnasium also serves as an assembly hall for students of both schools. I think the teachers would either have a collapsible stage at the far end of the court, or just stand up in the commentator's booth to give the announcements. Underneath the commentator's booth is the equipment storage shed where many a teen couple has probably sneaked off to make out.

The back view of the tuckshop and the carpark shows how this lot overlaps with the primary school. The existing primary school is blocked from Sims walking through it by a combination of real fences and this hidden CC-free invisible fence.

And that's it for this tour! I'm pretty happy with how these lots look, how I utilised the shells, and how they all fit together in the neighbourhood. I want to have more lots overlapping and slotting together like this to give Calcinidae Bay a more seamless, open feel, like the hood really is connected.

Bucky is on location filming in another country and, for one reason and another, they can't see each other for almost six weeks (which is the longest they've been apart).

How do they handle the separation and what was the reunion like? ;)

OOOOH I LOVE THIS!!! i’m gonna do a proper drabble for this too but i’ll post the headcanons now, sorry it took so long!! nsfw in the end 🥰

This would take place between them going public and getting married, the last project Bucky has before they both take a longer vacation for honeymoon (also referenced in the leaked pda video)

He films in Australia for 4 weeks and in London for 2, both pretty horrible for staying in touch because rhe time differnece is so big and they also have intense schedules in their respective time zones… And the change in time zones when Bucky moves places also make it more intense than usually, for example if Bucky would be filming just in another state it would be easier

Gale is also busy at work because he’ll take a full month of vacation in the fall after the wedding, so he can’t come visit in either place – they reason that it’s okay if they have some time apart, they’ll have the rest of their lives together after that and they’ve never been a clingy couple despite both valuing quality time over anything (and esp to Bucky also physical touch is key); maybe it’s even a welcome idea to have a breather after all the media attention after going public, it’s not a big fight or anything but it’s something different for a while

They do not expect it to be as hard as it ends up being; week or two is easy, but a month feels like forever and the last two weeks both are feeling so off-beat that they decide they will meet up in some vacation spot instead of Bucky coming home to LA because they just need some peace and quiet together for a while – the publicly is still at the peak interest too and they know there will be media after Bucky a lot too after weeks away so this seems like the best idea

They try to call as often as possible and text daily. At first it’s fine but the longer they go without the other near the more frustrating it becomes to just have the phone, like it’s amazing to be able to facetime and such but some nights Bucky would almost rather not see his beautiful boyfriend’s face at all when he can’t crawl next to him to fall asleep

Bucky would be so annoying about the whole thing, like I’m thinking non-stop whining, and Gale lets him go on and on about it as if he wasn’t feeling the same things because he knows it’s just his way of processing it.

Bucky never gives up on initiating phone sex though, which Gale also enjoys but it also makes him more nervous than John, and also during John’s evenings it’s Gale’s mid-day so it usually goes something like ”Hey honey how was filming?” ”We were filming that interigation scene for hours, it was fine, I thought about having you bounce on my cock on that table the whole time.” ”...I’m at work.” ”Yes of course dear. Anyway, could you find a quiet place and send me a voice note of your moaning my name I’m literally about to lose my mind.” ”Jesus-”

But actually it’s Gale who struggles most in the end to his great surprise, Bucky at least can lose himself in his work but Gale’s just living the usual routine but without John there (makes him realize what he means to him tho, as if he needed a reminder) – Gale’s always been hyper independent and still is, but he realizes better than ever how much more open to the world Bucky has made him and how lonely he sometimes was before him without really realizing. Watching films or going to the gym isn’t as fun without Bucky’s constant commenting.

But then again Gale has all of Bucky’s clothes to wear and his stuff that smells like him lying around, Bucky just has pictures etc.

There are some tensions in the middle of it, when it feels like the 6 weeks will never end; maybe John had a bad day at the set or Gale’s been stressed about finishing a certain project while also planning the wedding while also dodging the paparazzi while also … And they snap at each other on the phone and it’s not as easy to deal with when the only way to talk it through is on the phone again, no chance for a cathartic make-up sex or silent communication to break the ice. Bucky’s insecure since he left Gale into such a shitty situation with the public while he’s away, and Gale can’t help but feel a bit jealous as he keeps hearing about John having a great time with his co-workers and going to pubs and living a full life without him in it.

Once the time of the reunion nears, the anxiety starts to ease. they make plans to meet in Milan; Gale gets there a day sooner because Bucky’s plane is cancelled or something and Gale ends up going meeting him at the airport instead of their original plan of meeting away from the cameras in the hotel. This is the first time this is a possibility since they are public, but Gale still covers himself well – he has a facemask and huge hoodie and loose sweats he never would show up to in public otherwise (all the clothes happen to be originally Bucky’s but it’s a genuine accident, they are just the ones that felt the most comfortable)

Once Bucky comes through he runs to him and they have a cheesy airport reunion moment where they just hug in the terminal for like ten minutes, just holding the other close. Lover-boy Bucky would have tears in his eyes as he sniffs into Gale’s neck as the younger runs a calming hand up and down his back. No one pays them any mind, they go smoothly to the crowd there. Bucky bought Gale a big bouquet of red roses before boarding and he’s been clinging to them the whole flight and now he gets to press them to Buck’s back before giving them to him.

Bucky notices Gale has lost weight as they hug :( He sometimes struggles to take care of himself when he’s stressed, it’s not much but he knows his body better than his own and he immediately makes plans to check out the best restaurants in town for the whole week.

They behave themselves in the cab but the moment they get to the hotel penthouse John had reserved for them they’re on each other, absolutely wild with it; they’re adult men in a long-term relationship but the one thing phones or even intimate videos or pictures can’t replace is the actual feeling of someone’s skin underneath your fingers.

Gale moans as John throws him to the wall and they kiss so hard it’s almost painful, and Gale involuntarily laughs in relief when he finally gets a hand to his pants— Who said that I’ll get back to this later

(Champion) Reynard x (female) Reader (Headcanons... I guess?)

As soon as Leon lost his spot of being Champion and losing to his little brother's best friend, Reynard, you couldn't help but catch wind of it. The whole news spread around Galar like wildfire

Was she really that powerful to beat the man who held the spot for so long, just to lose to a trainer who looked like she could barely even socialise without stuttering from what you saw of her?

Her pokemon were all intimidating... Especially the ones she brought almost everywhere with her... Her Sylveon, Arcanine and Zacian were always carried with her. They were shown proudly by her when the reporter asked for her first few pokemon in her current party.

"The rest are either very powerful or not originally from here. The ones I've got with me currently are all real sweethearts so don't worry,"

Her accent was so smooth, a foreign one at that... She was somewhere from Australia, apparently.

For some reason her voice was so easy to listen to, it was almost no time for you to swoon for her voice and for her appearance

White hair, hazel eyes, basically black clothing and pale skin. She was basically monochrome in appearance, besides her eyes and eyebrows which shined like gold and was her natural hair color, brown.

You loved replaying appearances of her on TV when they were done being recorded. You were planning on wanting to see her hopefully before one of her battles.

You hurriedly rushed over to where a huge crowd of people blocked the way, forcing you to push through the people, profusely apologising.

"Sorry! Oh, sorry miss! Sir, excuse me!"

Your head popped through the crowd before you gasped feeling blush aflame on your cheeks at the sight of her, beautiful hair that was flowing in the wind... Her Arcanine could be seen growling at.... Who the hell was that?

"Bede was it?"

Her voice snapped you out of your trance seeing the female in an almost battle pose as fans could be seen silencing down

"Yes, Reynard, it is... Doesn't matter if you're now Champion, I'll take you down!"

The champion just eyed the crowd before her eyes landed directly on you. She smirked before looking back at Bede as you giggled like a high schooler that smirk and moment would be burned into your brain and corneas now.

The battle went as expected... Reynard succeeds as the fairy-type gym leader fell to his knees,

"I've failed multiple times now but... I will never win, will I?"

Reynard just turned around, almost heartlessly before walking off... Leaving her crowd of fans including you in shock. The fans quickly sped off towards the female who now was petting her Arcanine, Cerberus' head comforting the huge canine.

"There, there... Are you good now? Good."

She muttered to her dog as she turned around, subtly smiling before giving out autographs and doing photos like normal.

When it came for your turn to get her autograph you couldn't help but feel your lip quiver and hands shake causing her to chuckle in amusement

"I'm not gonna bite,"

Which only furthered your nervousness, as she approached you... And hugged you?

"Must be having a anxiety attack, poor thing.."

You were older than her by two years and yet she was the one treating you like a child,

Your mind almost drifted elsewhere after smelling what must've been red velvet... She smelled like the cake and not gonna lie, you almost drooled on her shoulder. Like a baby.

She noticed this just smiling as you blushed hearing cameras clicking,

"Vixen? Could you please comfort her while I handle my fans?"

Out pops a huge dark-furred Pokémon, a Zoroark, apparently called "Vixen" which startled you... You've never seen a Zoroark before, so this must be one of those Pokemon she mentioned which weren't from here. Its emerald green eyes make you slightly uneasy as the fox reluctantly nods before the teen slightly nudges you into its arms.

You snuggled into the fox's arms actually finding it comforting as you see a small fox pop out of its wild messy head of hair, or was it a mane? It made a small noise as of noticing you before it scurried back in garnering you to giggle again.

You felt the fox subtly give you a lick on the cheek when it notice you shuddering in fear at the almost growing crowd of people, and Bede was now long gone... You did notice Reynard, herself shaking and slightly jittery almost as if she was anxious too.

You felt something slip into your hand... It was her League Card! It had her smiling as she held up a peace sign, smiling at the camera with her signature/autograph on the card's bottom right-hand corner. And her number on the left-hand of it.

Esme is always stealing...borrowing, she says...stuff of his lol. And he's so massive compared to her, so you can imagine what she looks like in his t shirts and dress shirts and hoodies. But she insists they're the most comfortable things ever and they smell like him and it makes her feel all cozy and warm.

8. What happens when one of them gets sick?

They baby one another lol. They have a live in housekeeper/nanny that helps them out, so she'll devote her time to the kidlets and Tyler and Esme will nurse the other back to help. Esme tends to just power through things (unless it's something that renders her bed ridden) and continue on with a semi normal existence, but Tyler becomes a big old suck. Has the nerve to say she's babying, but then wants her taking care of him at the same time. LOL.

This is going to sound strange, but they never really dated LOL. It was just how things happened between them. Meeting in Dhaka, him almost dying and her staying by his side and never leaving Australia again. They found out about Millie while he was still in the hospital and they jumped into moving in together and then marriage just a few months later.
