Question of the day: How often or how much time do you spend getting to know your self/soul? When’s the last time you did some introspective reflection? (PS: Regardless of your answer, I still encourage everyone to check in on themselves (& encourage your loves ones to do so as well) more often! Personally, I never would have thought nor imagined God would take me all the way across the world, away from Home, Homies & who I am, to “lose” myself, & find myself again... (not implying that’s what everyone needs lol, BUT surprisingly, in my case, it sparked something!) & TBH, I believe it’s all still (& always has been) a part of the learning process and the “bigger picture”, depending on perspective. Coming to China, I’ve been pushed and challenged to GROW & LEARN in so many ways. About myself. Others of different culture(s). And the globally estranged world we live... its beauty, but also its universal brokenness. . . I’ve had the opportunity to learn about some of the most fundamental cultural and social gaps of today’s world... that are breaking us as a whole. And I believe ONE of the first, biggest and most beneficial tasks that you, me, and everyone else can do to help bridge these “gaps” in our world is to: WORK ON THYSELF & THEN use that newfound love, (re-)discovery of “self”, & your passion(s) to support and build one another up! That is the key; learning THIS is a COLLECTIVE process to LIBERATION that requires bold, indiscriminate SOLIDARITY from all parties involved.
