BASALT FIBER FOR CONCRETE
 BASALT FIBER FOR CONCRETE
Basalt fiber can be used in various concrete applications, including industrial floorings, roads, and all
types of civil and infrastructure construction. Basalt fiber’s high-strength-to-weight ratio offers significant weight savings over traditional concrete applications.
BASALT FIBER FOR CONCRETE ADVANTAGES
Basalt Fiber is an excellent way to reinforce concrete, because it has many features which make it superior on other fibers for that, for examples :
HIGH TENSILE STRENGTH
Basalt fibers and their composites shows greater resistance to salt and water solutions as compared to other fibers composites. This is because of the nano-phase particles that are present in the basalt fibers.
CORROSION RESISTANT
Corrosion resistant basalt fiber reinforced concrete is an ideal material for the marine environment, especially for dock and pier construction. It enhances durability, reduces maintenance, and increases load bearing capacity compared with traditional steel reinforcement concrete. The reinforcing fibers prevent cracking, provide superior corrosion resistance in corrosive conditions, and minimize deformation.
MOISTURE RESISTANT
It resists moisture and temperature extremes more effectively than steel, wood, or plastic reinforcements, so it can be used in concrete outdoor applications such as bridges, roads, boat decks and marine construction.
CHEMICAL RESISTANT
Basalt fiber concrete is chemically resistant, withstanding acids and alkalis. It doesn’t need to be specially treated or coated, so the cost of installation is lower than other reinforcing materials, also it’s compatible with nearly any admix included in concrete.
FROST AND HEAT RESISTANT
Basalt fiber’s temperature resistance allows it to retain its strength over a wide range of temperatures. This makes it useful in a variety of applications where frost could be a problem, also it can protect building in fire cases.
DURABILITY
The average lifespan of steel concrete is 35 years, while that of it is over 100 years.
ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY
It’s made from 100% Recycled Basalt from volcano rock which makes it completely free of chemicals, and as a comparison between Its production with steel concrete, it reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 5.24 tons of coal equivalent per ton.
As a conclusion, Basalt Fiber is useful for the concrete because it adds strength, durability, and reduces shrinkage. It is also a non-rusting alternative to steel rebar and don’t corrode over time. These benefits enhance the life of the concrete and increase the effectiveness of the overall construction in any project.

The Impact of Composite Parts on Automotive Design and Manufacturing
Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP)
CFRP is a lightweight material with a high strength-to-weight ratio. The composite parts made of this material are extensively used in designing body panels and structural components. It reduces the overall weight of the vehicles and makes them fuel-efficient.
Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP)
GFRP is used to design hoods, fenders, door panels, bumper reinforcements, bumper covers, trim components, and several other parts. It can also be used in manufacturing engine components, suspension components, air intake systems, and battery casings.
Aramid Fiber Reinforced Polymer (AFRP)
AFRP is known for its excellent impact resistance. The composite parts made of AFRP are mostly used in external body parts of automotive units.
Other important advanced composites
Carbon-Glass Hybrid Composites, Carbon-Kevlar Hybrid Composites, Natural Fiber Composites, Aluminum Matrix Composites (AMCs), Boron Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP), Polymer Matrix Nanocomposites, and Thermoplastic Composites for different purposes in automotive manufacturing.

I've been scrolling through posts under the dermatillomania tag for about half and hour... And all I can say is I feel so heard, validated and accepted. I often feel disgusting and ashamed because of my skin and the way my brain works. I don't know anyone irl who struggles with skin picking, my friends don't understand and my family just tells me to stop. There are so many kind people in this community and I wish you all the best. If you're struggling with derma, I love you so much and you're so beautiful.

Wanna know something really fun that I hate talking about bc I’m disgusting and like 2 people kind of know about? I have body focused repetitive disorders, which is pretty much a super fun way of saying: >if I have a bug bite or bump or anything I scratch it until it bleeds. I mean, it stops itching/being there if it’s now a wound. >I have to pick my scabs. All of them. Multiple times a day. I get really anxious if I have the urge and can’t!!! >I pull out my eyelashes all the time! I get really anxious if I have the urge and I can’t!! >I bite the skin off my lips all the time, every day!!! >I rip the cuticles off of my nails sometimes!!! On a bad day I’ll do it to multiple fingers!
The thing is, if I have the urge, I usually just do the thing. I wear pants and pick under them, or I just make sure nobody is directly focused on me. Or if I have the urge to pull our my eyelashes I’ll just excuse myself to the bathroom or something, or hide my face by looking away as I do it. And Ibdont even care if anyone sees me biting my lip, and I usually just fuck with my nails/fingers all the time so nobody notices.
But like, really, nobody notices. The only time people notice is when my eyelash area is bleeding bc I ripped out eyelashes and tore off skin. That’s the only thing my significant other’s have seen or noticed, and it isn’t like I want to tell them about it all; it’s disgusting.

APPLICATIONS OF OUR BFRP REBAR PRODUCTS
Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) Rebar is a high-performance reinforcement solution that has been gaining popularity in the construction industry. Arab Basalt Fiber Company is the leading company in the production of basalt fiber, which was established in 2020 in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. Arab Basalt Fiber Company is the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, one of the world’s largest facilities, producing around 5,000 tons of basalt fiber rebar each year.
One of the key advantages of BFRP Rebar is its resistance to corrosion. Unlike traditional steel rebar, BFRP Rebar does not rust, which can significantly increase the lifespan of structures. This makes it an ideal choice for structures located in areas with high levels of exposure to water, such as bridges, dams, and canals. Another advantage of BFRP Rebar is its high strength-to-weight ratio. BFRPRebar is lighter than steel rebar, making it easier to transport and install on construction sites. Despite its lightweight, BFRP Rebar has a higher tensile strength than steel, which means it can withstand greater loads.
Arab Basalt Fiber Company produces world-class BFRP Rebar for structural applications in both the private and public sectors. The Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer Rebar can be used in many different applications and can be used in areas where there is an extreme amount of exposure to water, including bridges, dams, and canals.

I'm bored and sad, so I'm just gonna keep talking to you, if that's okay.. I saw you'd been feeling pretty low, how are things?
That’s totally okay, love! ; I’m sorry you’re bored and sad. :( Things are… things are okay-ish right now. I’m still heart broken over the death of my Uncle George, and today was a really bad skin picking day (even though I wasn’t feeling viscerally anxious)… but, I carry on, as I always do. The light still shines, even if you don’t see it, you know? How are you, Fae Anon?
