Woman near Shechem crushes enemy’s head
by Damien F. Mackey “Next Abimelek went to Thebez and besieged it and captured it. Inside the city, however, was a strong tower, to which all the men and women—all the people of the city—had fled. They had locked themselves in and climbed up on the tower roof. Abimelek went to the tower and attacked it. But as he approached the entrance to the tower to set it on fire, a woman dropped an upper…

Revelation!
Mark 1:21-28 The Man with an Unclean Spirit 21 They went to Capernaum; and when the sabbath came, he entered the synagogue and taught. 22 They were astounded at his teaching, for he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. 23 Just then there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, 24 and he cried out, “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you…

Romans 2:25-29 (Part 1 of 3)
Romans 2:25-29 The irrelevance of circumcision (Part 1 of 3). “For circumcision is indeed profitable if you keep the law.” Paul recognizes that a Jew may protest and say that his salvation is based on the fact that he is a descendant of Abraham, proven by “circumcision.” Paul rightly answers that this is irrelevant in regard to justification. The Jew believed that his “circumcision” guaranteed…

@bwycbic So many Christians 'worry or are anxious 'why? Do we not have enough food, drink, money or whatever it is. The Bible tells us to pray and God will easy and remove your worries or anxieties.
Worry is an anxious way of thinking and speaking about yourself. This causes a behaviour change such as stress or agitation. Our God wants us to be in faith and be at peace. If you haven't gathered worry is bad for you and you want to break the habit read on.
The Bible is even more clearer in Matthew 6 v 25-34. These verses are from Jesus himself, He says don't worry. Now I hear you say that's easy for Him to say that but I can't stop worrying its the situation I'm in.
As you are a person of faith and believe in our God read Matthew 6 v 25-34. Really focus in on verse 30 either in KJV, NLT, AMPC or ESV at the end of this verse it says, 'You of little FAITH'!
Jesus is challenging you to increase your faith, cast aside worry or and anxiety and step into deeper faith and be at peace.
When I read these verses and verse 30 hit me it told me I had little faith. So what did I do about it? It wasn't easy but I reframed worry and changed it to concerned. Everything Iused the word worry I changed it to concerned and asked for forgiveness.
Now that sounds easy but it took me almost a year to change my thinking, self-talk and spoken word. Now it's established I automatically and very very rarely I do say worry, however if I do it is followed by concerned very quickly and I ask God for forgiveness.
It's a challenge however if you have read this far why not challenge yourself and STOP saying WORRY. Amen

If you wanna be close to God, you need to start reading the bible every day. Start small, set a daily alarm on your phone, download the bible app, and read some plans in there, as well as reading the bible itself on there. Start in the new testament and just go. Some days will be cool, some days you won't feel anything, but it matters. It will change you, your character, your life, your thoughts, everything. Next thing you know you are buying a journaling bible and drawing, tabbing, highlighting, lettering, journaling. Every morning, spend time with God, pray, involve Him, talk to Him.

Friendly reminder that if you used to go to Church or a Christian school as a kid, but did not continue to study or grow your faith as you got older, than - no, you actually don't understand Christianity on the same level as a practicing adult believer.
I'm tired of hearing people dismiss the Christian faith and say 'well, I went to church as a kid, so I know what you believe'. That's the same as saying, 'my parents took my to the aquarium every week as a kid, so I know as much as your average marine biologist'.
If you're going to brag about how much knowledge you have about Christianity anyway, you should at least try not to say it on posts where you get things blatantly wrong about the Bible, the Church or- idk- the core message of the Gospel.

Mark 13:24-37  The Coming of the Son of Man 24 “But in those days, after that suffering, the sun will be darkened,    and the moon will not give its light, 25  and the stars will be falling from heaven,    and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26 “Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in clouds’ with great power and glory. 27 Then he will send out the angels and gather the elect…

¹⁷ “You can throw us into the blazing furnace. The God we serve is able to save us from the furnace and your power. If He does this, it is good. ¹⁸ But even if God does not save us, we want you, our king, to know this: We will not serve your gods. We will not worship the gold statue you have set up.”
