His pretty valve sticks out between the flesh, pulsing with with need. A harsh smack ripples the domed protoform and he reigns in a whine, keeling over the desk.

"You're here to serve, enforcer." You croon.

He shudders, stammering back. "And, I will."

was rewatching the pilot again yesterday for fic reasons and thinking again about the sherlock-style screen annotations they had when barry was doing CSI work that they literally only did in the first ep and then never revisited again, presumably because they realized it'd be far too much effort to work out the details on such a precise level

and thinking about like. that barry allen with the hyper-precise exact measurements that he did by eye (with joe shaking his head in awe so you know that he's a CSI supergenius) vs. the leonard snart who timed his heists to the exact nanosecond (which again, presuming they ditched because it's a logistical nightmare to write dialogue that nitpicky and obsessive, and would be such a fucking pain to do on a week-to-week basis). like. yet another reason they are soulmates tbh. is audhd4autistic a thing the same way t4t is a thing? if it isn't then i'm making it a thing

Thank God for the search function on this blog. I wrote a complete entry for Street Sweeper's excellent 7" "Don't Wait". As I was about to post, I checked to see if I'd posted about their first 7" and...hello, I'd posted about the 7" in late November 2024. Just call me Mr. Short Term Memory.

So, still in the mood for some good old-fashioned power pop/punk I came across The Dumpies newish LP, "Gay Boredom", released via Dirt Cult Records. The Dumpies were originally from Austin, Texas, but have since relocated to Astoria, Oregon. They recorded this LP with help from "guidance counselor", Tim Kerr (Big Boys).

This LP literally careens between punk, hardcore, and power pop. For quick proof listen to tracks 10 and 11 ("Hot Wash" to "Gay Boredom"). It reminds me of the sounds of TURBOSLEAZE and sometimes Fucked Up. And if you didn't know better, you'd think these were teenagers or maybe college students based on the sophomoric lyrics and topics. And while, I couldn't listen to this everyday (or even every week) it definitely scratched the itch I needed scratching today.
