The FNDM seriously needs to stop girlbossifying a white woman for talking down to a WOC (Winter to Harriet)

i saw a post where it was like “you guys are so sensitive, stop making it about race, winter’s just higher ranked” like yes you have a small nugget of a point in there. winter is higher ranked. winter is also a white woman who is not demonized in the show for her anger even though she has been far more destructive with it (the fight with qrow that ruined the courtyard & potentially put students in danger anyone?)

i love winter. she’s my favourite character & she’s definitely been done dirty by the show. but the way the fndm is girlbossing her for "putting harriet in her place” when both harriet & elm have been unnecessarily vilified, stereotyped as anger, hulking black women, when crwby have shown their underlying racism in ignoring their previous nuance to do so & saying that a whole team of poc couldn’t win against a team of white girls without their white leader; is gross. anger is only valid for white / pale women in this show (yang, winter, nora, etc) while dark skinned woc aren’t allowed to be.

& this is ignoring that harriet & elm are right to be angry. in show, they have a bunch of college drop outs who in their eyes canonically lied to & betrayed them. yang’s uncle got clover killed. rwbyjnr’s lying meant that the evacuation of mantle was done on an impossible time frame & the atlas squad was running around chasing their tails instead of doing something that actually could’ve worked. but no, two black women angy against our pale ass white protags, they must be in the wrong & aggressive & mean uwuwu.
