Yet another Nightmare headcanon:

He will occasionally quote memes in front of Cross-- only in front of Cross. This is to give Cross an existential crisis, since he will forever question how much knowledge on memes Nightmare has. He also cannot tell anyone about Nightmare's meme quoting because no one will ever believe him. :)

Nightmare just gets a kick out of the confused negativity from Cross, lol-
