with a very hopeful heart, i have an important news to share to everyone, after almost 11 years of working/collaborating/studying/researching/mentoring/teaching at CMOC and LPMC (Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis) and NICE Lab, IMREDD (Université Côte d’Azur) in Nice, France 🇫🇷 — the time is now to leave the city I called home and to embark on a new scientific adventure in another city in France (city reveal in the next days) — i will start working as Ingénieur de recherche physico-chimiste in a CNRS laboratory to work on biomaterials and biological interfaces — my next mission is to integrate biology in my physics and chemistry skills (i’ll also continue working with Plasmas and start with XPS 😉) 💙🤍❤️ 2022 had been a super tough year for me, i lost my mom and i had to leave Nice but with Heavenly Father’s guidance, i had to move on with my life and restart in a new city with a new work — i will leave Nice with a heavy heart, but i know that it is necessary to better myself, definitely a bittersweet goodbye 🤍 i want to express my utmost gratitude to Frédéric Guittard for hosting me in Nice from 2011 until i got my 2nd PhD, the friendship we developed will be treasured (and thank you for visiting my mom in the Philippines last 2018) and i’ll still collaborate with his lab whenever possible, to all my former colleagues in the university, friends, church-mates, and students, thank you for sharing your life with me in Nice ❤️ 🥂 to a new beginning 😘 love you all! #amazingadventuresofbeaujethro #newlife #restart #newbeginnings #bittersweetgoodbye #newwork #newcity #physics #biology #chemistry #filipinoscientist #thankyouheavenlyfather #blessing #grateful #illgowhereyouwantmetogo (at Nice, France) https://www.instagram.com/p/CjSxUckte4h/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

And that's a wrap... what an amazing 8 years it's been at Clayworks in Seattle... I started here as a total hobbyist with no intentions of ever selling my work, and now I just moved my business into its own lovely new space in Twisp. (In fact I was looking to sell my wheel and quit pottery when a former teacher suggested I keep working and rent space here in 2009. I had just finished x-ray school.) So thankful to the other potters who inspired me and shared so many tips and tricks throughout the years... without them I would definitely not be doing clay as a job! Now it's time to spread my wings and fly the coop... come along with me to Twisp for new adventures! I'll be back to visit Seattle and do Pike Place in mid Sept!
