Black Comics: Politics of Race and Representation edited by Sheena C. Howard and Ronald L. Jackson II

As much as I read comics & such, it’s good to learn further insight about the medium of sequential art. For the past several years, I’ve read 1 book a year pertaining to this topic. Here is collected a various assortment of essays pertaining to the history, theory, observations & evolution that Black people have taken part in sequential art. Learning something new of creators & stories I was unfamiliar with before. Many plenty more notes of interest that provide further insight.
