Ideas for Black!Reader Fic

I am going to try my hand again at writing. And I wanted to share some people and fandoms that I love. If you don’t know these shows/actors/franchises/movies/streamers I’m putting you on! For the following:

Johnny Depp- All his characters

Cameron Monaghan- I know that there are fics out there but it’s only always his Jerome/Jeremiah roles never just him or Cal Kestis

Anthony Carrigan- I loved Anothy as Victor Zsasz

Paul Dano- There are Riddler fics but not as many for his other roles

The Entire Cast of Hawaii Five-0 (2010) - Don’t even get me started on how good this show is! And the cast looks amazing!

Chicago Med/Fire/PD- These shows have so much potential for fanfic storylines!

The Game (2006)- Has great potential for slow burns and fluffs.

Star Wars franchise (1977-present) - I know I said Cal Kestis but there are also other characters like Anakin, Luke, Obi Wan,Boba Fett (etc.)

NCIS franchise- I honestly love this franchise and it’s characters!

Any/All Sports Men- Jude Bellingham,Lewis Hamilton,LaMelo Ball,Allen Iverson(etc.)

Berleezy - He’s handsome and he’s funny!

Coryxkenshin- I literally love him and his videos!

Albert Aretz (Flamingo)- Look … he may be the epitome of mediocre white man but I like what I like!

AMP- Duke Dennis, Kai Cenat, Agent 00, ChrisNxtDoor,Davis, and Fanum ( all I gotta say is love a black man from infinity to infinity🗣️)

Beta Squad- A British YouTube/ streamer group!

SOMEBROS- Berleezy, Rico, ,PG, Joe (etc.)

WWE- come on now, do I even need to explain!!!

Four Brothers- All the cast but Garrett Hedland in particular!

Peacemaker - Don’t get me wrong I love Adrian Chase but I want to see just as much Peacemaker x black!reader fics because 2 words… JOHN CENA

MAWS- New animated Superman show! Love!

Smallville - The entire cast is hot! Tbh I fell hard for Tom Welling when I was younger when he was in Cheaper By The Dozen. Plus they literally whitewashed Vixen. COME ON! Vixen is a black female hero btw. She was also with Jon (Green Lantern) at one point.

Justice League/Justice League Unlimited (2001 and 2004)- I mean I literally can’t find any Jon Stewart x black!reader fics and he was with a BLACK WOMAN!

Warner Bros Franchise (minus the looney tunes & space jam)- There are lots of popular franchises that this company has from Fast & Furious to The Matrix!

Peaky Blinders- Saw a Tommy shelby x arms dealer black!female reader fic on my previous account but even then I couldn’t find it again on that account. So it’s gone with the wind. And the cast (i.e the actors and other characters they’ve portrayed). Example: Cillian Murphy as Johnathan Crane.

Bridgerton- There is very little Bridgerton stories catered around a black reader.

Marvel- Now that’s not to say that there aren’t any in fact there are many but I never see (Tobey Maguire Spider-Man stories and it seems like everyone tends to focus on the famous Marvel characters like The Avengers but not on other aspects like X-men or better yet, heroes that haven’t even gotten their own movie but are just as amazing like Squadron Supreme , it’s equivalent to DCU’s Justice League.

Secret Invasion- Not gonna lie , I’m feening for Gravik.😳

DCEU- Another franchise that pushes its other characters to the side. For example, Hush (Thomas Elliot) is literally the epitome of Bruce Wayne gone bad!

Ross Lynch- There are so many roles that Ross did so well in Like Teen Beach Movie or Sabrina.

Highschool Musical Franchise (2006- present ) I’m not just talking about HSMTS (2019), I mean even further back than that. I don’t see any Troy Bolton x black!reader and that’s crazy. I also can’t find any Zac Efron x black!reader

Okay so it seems that people want a slowburn for The Fake Date Plot. And some people have already left wonderful suggestions! Is there anything else y'all want to see whether plot points or other pairings before our main pairing?

What I'm thinking so far (can change at any moment):

James gets Lily but Reader doesn't get with Xeno. J & R are strictly friends in the Ministry mandated-8th year or maybe cut 8th year because the war gets more intense?

Sirius, James, and R are going to be roommates but that falls through when Remus needs a new place to stay so Remus, Sirius, Marlene and Peter become roommates leaving James and R the flat to themselves? (I kind of want to add a third roommate but idk)

R is the only active spy for the Order, everyone else is like an Auror or obviously fighting for the other side. R decides that the Order should trust Snape and brings him in. Either James or R get seriously hurt in a battle or something and the other one freaks out a bit too much to be just friends. Their friends notice but the 2 are still oblivious??

I kind of want a wedding where one gets married and then realizes they're making a huge mistake or something. I also never know how I feel about including Harry because I don't know if I want Lily and James to have to co-parent but also like it's Harry Potter so idk.

Do y'all like any of these points? Have any ideas of your own? Want to just say whatever? Lol. Let me know.

I previously left this platform because there were things I wanted to focus on pursuing in life. My account was mysticalfairytales, I left this platform hoping that I had connected Black/Latina(x) readers to Black/Latina(x) through the post I created, tagging these writers. But I came back so disappointed. Disappointed because of the impatience of many of these readers. Many of these blogs have either deleted their fanfic, become inactive on Tumblr, or deleted their account all together. As a community we need to do better as supporters and uplift one another. Stop serial liking posts, the writers need feedback because how else are they going to know what they need to improve on. Have patience, these writers have lives outside of Tumblr. To treat these people as blogs that are simply here to pop out content when you want them to is borderline inhumane. These are humans and not robots. We need to do better! My intention was to make it easier for Black/Brown/Latina (x)/Hispanic readers to connect with writers who are like them. I know from my experience on Tumblr that it is hard to find stories that cater to BIPOCS. And now there are even fewer BIPOC writers than there were when I left. I ask all readers to have understanding, respect, support, and patience when it comes to approaching and messaging writers. Let's hold each other accountable!

QUESTION FOR THE FAKE DATE PLOT

Do you guys want a slow burn or what for pacing? I have two thoughts.

Fast pacing they'd get together by the end of 6th year.

Slow burn isn't fully formed yet but I was thinking they go through the Ministry-mandated 8th year and the start of the war and don't realize they love each other until someone almost gets hurt but they still don't say anything and obviously everyone knows of the fake date plot by now and I'm not sure where I'd go from there but that's an idea?
