how was playing hsr? was there anything that you liked in the game and the story?

ITS BEEN AMAZING AS EXPECTED!!!!!!!!! i actually havent played genshin in a while since starting it, i have no motivation to do the filler event while a perfectly good star rail is sitting there waiting to be played :')

but for mechanics, i love they have auto battle so you dont have to nessecarily sit there and invest in every little battle you gotta do....and i love that the resin (resin??) system is a lot more forgiving with a higher cap, lower cost, and allow for overflow...thats nice...i also love that the mc and starter units are very useful. im so emotionally attatched to the star rail crew so im glad they never have to leave my team !!!!

storywise im LOVING IT SO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i started playing it at the beginning of spring break 2 weeks ago and im almost all caught up!!! i went through belabog and penacony and now im just doing those leftover intermission main quests which im only now realizing i shouldve done before going to penacony LMAO

and of course.....danmarch....im so soft for them......and also i love sampo i cant wait to see what they do with him

2023 Winter Three-Episode Check-In

The big forerunner this season? Girls in fantasy shows!

The team split up the three-episode reviews between staff volunteers, with one person putting together a short(ish) review on each series. Like we do with our check-in podcasts, we started from the bottom of our Premiere Digest list and worked our way up.

If we didn’t watch a show for at least three episodes, we skipped it, and we’ve used nice bold headers to help you quickly jump to the shows you’re interested in. We’ve also excluded shows that are continuing on in basically the same vein as our premiere review to conserve space. Unless specifically noted, we will not be mentioning overt spoilers for anything beyond episode three.

"They're wrong!" Aderyn slams her hands on the conference room table. She's been back in England two days before Director Preston summons everyone to a meeting at the Priory. She's at one end of the long table, Preston at the other. It feels like everyone else in her life is arrayed against her. "Two witnesses and the dispatcher confirmed what's said on the recording is accurate," says Hieronymus Lex. It's been pointed out Aderyn omitted [the mythic dawn stating they ran a paternity test which proves she's a Septim] in her police statement and Blades' report. Her excuse that she forgot is starting to come apart. "The Mythic Dawn are wrong," she corrects. "Dearest, what if-" Martin tries. "No. Listen. I know who's listed on my birth certificate-" "Do you?" murmurs Baurus. "-and I'm sorry, but neither of them are you." She can't help but spit it. Martin pales, misunderstanding where the venom in her voice comes from. "We all heard what was said on the recording," Captain Lex says. "It's worth investigating." "They're lying!" "At the very least," says Preston, "we should assign someone to your protection." "I don't need a fucking bodyguard! We can't afford to take personnel away from where it's really needed." She waves towards Martin. "They're going to keep trying, Aderyn," Jena says. She's using the Calm Big Sister voice, and today it rankles. "Whether they're right or-" Aderyn straightens. "You're going to believe a bunch of deranged blood-drinkers over me?" She tears the Red Diamond from her neck, slams it on the table. "After everything I've fucking done for this, you're calling me the liar?" The Grey Fox stands up. "That is enough." His tone sends the room temperature plummeting. You could hang icicles off his words. It's the tone that says 'you go too far', the tone that warns she's on the verge of losing her job. It's the tone that would usually have her shaking in her boots, would make her sit down, shut up and put up. But she's too wound up, too scared, masking her fear with too much anger. "You're goddamned fucking right it is." Every door in the Priory slams as she passes through them on her way to her car. Martin, ever loyal, ever faithful, follows her down. "Where are you going?" "Anywhere that ain't fucking here!"

Random rambling on Inglis,Rafael and the future of others too.Today,on 11/4/2023.

I've pondered about the world there,the weird predicament Inglis,Rafinha and Eris are.It's Ugly what now they're suffering.So isnt' someone tho save them,such as Knight Rafael?

Don't get the wrong idea:He's a smart,kindhearted and loyal young man.I like him. However he lacks the great mindset,the determination and the skills to get the antidote to help out the girls,who are trapped by the Highlanders.

"If he's really a heroic man why is he hiding his face and name? Why's he's utilizing these ploys,the secrecy and guerilla warfare ?",you'll ask me the question.

But it's obvious. When you're fighting a such scheming force,a nasty society,say the Higglanders, you can't make war being carefree. You just can't offer ice creams to your enemies,and believe good will and dialogue are the good ways to solve it.
