Guess who's been messing around in blender? This guy!

I decided to try learning blender this week and so far it's been a struggle!! The sandship is still a wip and i've been dreading modeling the rigging and sails but it' so satisfying finally seeing some rendered shots!

I wanted to make a sandship originally just to help with blocking for the rest of chapter 2 but it kinda ballooned out of control, as always... :D

"Daybreaker Anthem" has taken over my Splatoon 3 playlist – and my imagination! There's something about the song's energy that perfectly captures the spirit of Deep Cut. Listening to it, I couldn't shake the image of Shiver, Frye, and Big Man striking a pose or in fryes case zoomies.

Why is he so washed out? 😭☠️☠️

EDIT!!!!: Figured it out and also will share for anyone else who lowkey sucks at Blender like I do:

I wanted to include a s2 model as well as a s3 one because of their quality differences. As you can see Luke is way too shiny and Javi is way too washed out.

You’re going to want to access the shading window on the top of the window. There will be a window called “XPS Shader” with a little icon on the side which opens a larger material window. Click on it.

There will be a setting labeled “Specular” that will be turned up. Turn it down completely, this should rid of the lighting problems on both of the models.

Now they do not look stupid. ☝️🤓

I was having trouble drawing an oc's face at a certain angle so I decided to just elevate her head shape to the third dimension with the baby level knowledge I have about blender. Modern solutions, people.

Followed Blender Guru's tutorial on YouTube and it was really hard. The background was supposed to be pink but it disappeared for some reason.

Might make some cute 3D sculpts in the future, we will see
