Snowflake

Snowflake is a light purple Icewing who has a very positive attitude and is heasitant towards conflict. Snowflake is Aromatic and feels bad about rejecting Wolf’s feelings.

Roadrunner

Roadrunner is a tan Sandwing who is an energetic and positive character. He is one of the fastest Sandwings in his village.

Orchid

Orchid is a pink female rainwing who is flirty and opportunistic.

I took inspiration from @gg-is-a-loser art of my character and added it to her new design!

Blizzard

Blizzard is a blue female Icewing who is hostile and aggressive towards anyone. She is also trans.

Wolf

Wolf is a green male Icewing who is very cowardly and soft. He has a crush on Snowflake and is very shy about it.

Obsidian

Obsidian is a melanistic male Icewing who is caring and curious. He is mute and a royal though he was raised on his own far from the Icewing kingdom.

Atlas - they/them, Silkwing, currently on the run after escaping from their adoptive mother's clutches

Charming - he/him, Rainwing, works at a club in possibility owned by his father, often neglected in favor of his brothers

Elk - she/her, Icewing, no one really knows what her deal is, and no one is brave enough to ask

Hello, my name’s Blizzard, you can call me Blizz or Blizzy! I’m non-binary and neptunic/lesbian and I go by they/it/xe/ze pronouns.

Basic info about me:

My favorite animals are wolves, cats, dragons, dinosaurs, griffins, and a lot of other things, and my favorite color is glaucous (a shade of blue)! I’m a band kid, I play the flute and I’m also in marching band. I like drawing though I post it rarely, and I used to write! I may have ADHD and autism (self-diagnosed), but I don’t have the resources, although I have most or even all the symptoms. My MBTI is INTP-T, I’m a Pisces, and I’m a bilingual Chinese-American. I wanted to have a series of posts where people can find all of my characters in one place! Since I have too many to fit them all into one post, I decided to split them up based on how much I use them/how developed they are, the same way they're split up on my Toyhouse.

I wanted to have their refs here so people can find them relatively easily and not have to go digging through their Toyhouse galleries to find them lol. If anyone ever wants to draw them, you are very much encouraged to do so!! Same goes for asks about my characters! Those are always welcome as well!!

These will have some general information about each of my characters, but if you want to see more about them in depth, each character's Toyhouse page will also be linked! If/when I update any particular characters' ref in the future, that will be updated here as well ^^

SECONDARY OCS

These characters are ones I don't use quite as often as my primary OCs, but still have more to them than my tertiary OCs do. They have some developed personality, mainly from when I was more into Wings of Fire (all of these, as well as all of my tertiaries, are WoF OCs lol). All of these guys generally have some kind of interconnection with my other WoF OCs or a relatively well defined sort of gimmick I guess you could say lol.

i have no idea how to start this rip (dd= disassembly drone)

i useally say that am xiao and a dissasembally drone but im more concepts then anything else it goes

consepts: small flying dangerous flexable tail multiple forms/run like a dog and grab like a human watcher listener endless job to do

base: raptor birds (-> peregrine falcons) fennec foxes

2: demon (-> xiao is considered a demon adeptus and another word for dd is sky demon) feathery wings sharp teeth

3 (vaguely but there): otters finchs western dragons/wof sandwing scaramouche

"in view": adeptus xiao generic dissasembally/worker drone hybrid S (my kinsona) i like to show myself as a fennec like with the gifs

species by accosiation: ADEPTUS cat bees (-> friend called me minecraft bee coded) wolf dog theres a version of S thats uninfected any au

xiao is the minimum that you need to know to understand and before i had things to latch onto i jumped around sonas alot it was stressful and i only made things worse by interrogating myself witch is why i said to not think about it so hard and just draw whats fun =-= i found out im a drone by making a sona and then the sona feeling way more real then other sonas/ocs like chengcuo i was just bein silly ^^

sometime its also neurodivergent stuff (???) i cant understand facial expressions so i either exadurat them or dont really emote (i promise you that the xiaos are diffrent pictures)

colors and color coding is also important to me!!!!!!

am small and can fly but am kinda flightless when xiao sits down his ingame model doesnt reach the floor and dds are kinda tall but i look more like a worker drone with dd features and there both short to avrege humans as xiao i had wings and a bird form (can fly) but i lost them when a dream-god ripped of my wings and dds have retractable wings but copper 9 has a constant death storm happeneing that acts like a blizzard so id rather walk and do my silly jumps sjchd

its also a comfort thing!!! im a bird adeptus without wings or a bird form as a dd im a living wepon every even if the dream god tore them again dds can regen our heads i will have wings again in like a minute and if i really want to hen its awkward but of i angle it right there strong enough to break other drones caseing (my wings as xiao where normal feathers my life has also been almost constant trauma and i would pretend to use finchy looking wings to hide or hug myself and playing genshin was our escape we where still plural and we would listen to alot of genshin asmr and i think thats how i formed as a fictive) i think its also linked to my hyperfixation on md and my main comfort charater right now being a N (hes the yellow dd in the gif and my pfp :3)

ive also been gaslit and a defining part of being a dd is that you used to be a normal worker drone before you got infected with the absolute solver and it did some mlp infection stuff and messed with our memories theres a whole episode about it (cw for robot gore flashing lights anf 1 line of ablism against narcissists if you click the link its the episode) having anatonamy instead of wanting it is still kinda new to me theres a theme with them about how xiao was enslaved as a wepon for the dream-god and dds arnt supposed to be unique but xiao gets to be a person and the dds are unique anyways that i resonate alot with to its nice to see the systems that let the bad things happen be villians instead of when i tell people that the thing that hurt me was school and they try to find reasons why it was my fault

(hopfully this make sense brain wont give me anything else for now but if i think if something ill add it!! and if you have questions i can do my best to awnser them!!!!)

More WOF fanfic b/c I finished another chapter! T/W angst

A new topic?

Star was in art class, listening as the teacher Turtle was explaining some history about Pyrriahan art. 

“Around 1,000 years after the scorching, dragons began making pottery and jewelry. Most of the jewelry pieces were little pendants, made with sea glass, and colored sand. The pendants were for people of high power, or gifts for a dragon’s loved one. These could include friends, crushes, or spouses. This is the first part of our new topic. If you choose to do the pottery section you will learn blah…blah…blah…blah” Star had started zoning out after the pendant part. I could make one for Blizzard. Star then didn’t even pay attention, she just pictured what she would make for Blizzard. 

~~~Later~~~

Star was on her ledge during the rest period, She was sketching the design of the pedant in her sketchbook. It would be a blue crescent moon with little white specs of colored sand. Star decided to use a gold cord, to point out Blizzard’s beautiful white scales. Star couldn’t help but draw Blizzard in the margins of her sketchbook. Just then, Vermillion walked in, right behind Star.

“Whatcha’ drawing?” Vermillion said, leaning over her shoulder. Star slammed her sketchbook shut and glared at him.

“It’s for art class. We’re making pendants. Out of uh, sea glass, and stuff.” Star said, going a little fast to get it over with.

“Oh? Can I see your sketchbook then?” Vermilion asked, with an awful smile.

“No. I uh, don’t wanna show you.” Star said, moving her sketchbook away a little. It was too late. Vermilion had reached over and snatched the sketchbook from Star’s hands. He opened it and began flipping through the pages. Blizzard walked into the room and turned her head a bit in confusion.

“What’re you doing?” She asked, looking at Vermilion.

“Hey, get a look at this.” Vermillion said, turning the sketchbook towards Blizzard.

“No, don't!” Star shouted. But it was too late. Blizzard saw the page. The page with almost a million little doodles and sketches of her. “Heh-heh. Looks like somebody has a little crush.” Vermillion snickered. Blizzard’s expression was unreadable. Confusion? Surprise? Disappointment? It didn’t matter. Star ran out of the room. Her talons clacked on the floor. Tears flew off her face. Hide. HIDE. Star ran, hearing Blizzard call after her. Luckily there were no other dragons in the halls there to whisper and gossip about her. Star forgot about hiding within the school and spiraled into the chilling evening air. She flew north, so that some of the mountains could hide her. Star landed in a little grassy area and dashed into a cave. Tears were still streaming down her face. Stupid! Stupid! You should’ve known you can't have things like that. You should’ve known it would happen. It always does. Star pushed herself into a corner and slammed her talons on her head, over, and over.

An Exhaustively Extensive Look at Wings of Fire Arc 4 and Wings of Fire Prequel Stories (Part 1; Just Arc 4 For Now) (Sorry This Took So Long)

WoF Arc 4 started as a third continent story where the RainWings find a giant spider leg on the beaches just south of the Rainforest Kingdom, after which Clay and Cricket fly south to explore the third continent.

Cricket and Clay then find an island about a day's flight from the main continent (third continent) and meet a MammalWing named Wolf, who, after being reasonably scared, brings Clay and Cricket to the MammalWing Kingdom to meet King Ox.

For a while, other iterations of Arc 4 were essentially the same main story with slight changes and additions. But then I introduced Dusky, Bumblebee, and Vernonia, other Pantalan characters of course, and the Leaf-Silk Academy (SLA).

In this iteration, the point of view is of Dusky going through a normal student's life until the Jade Mountain Academy faculty and students travel to SLA. After which, Dusky hears Clay and Luna talking to each other about the possibility of a third continent. Dusky overhears this and runs to his friends to tell them what he heard.

I soon went through more, minor iterations with the same general story: Dusky, Bumblebee, and Vernonia sneaking off to explore the third continent and experiencing similar things that Clay and Cricket did.

Another interesting part of this major iteration was the introduction of the main Arc 4 villain, an unnamed dragon of an undetermined tribe trapped in a magical crystal. This villain is now scrapped. As well as the third continent itself.

The next major iteration was the reintroduction of Peacemaker, staying at and learning in the Jade Mountain Academy, befriending an IceWing named Blizzard, a SandWing named SandStriker, and a MudWing named Toad, who Peacemaker later starts to develop a crush on. Another thing introduced in this iteration was, not only the reintroduction of JMA (School), but also the Dragon Festival, a school-wide event based on the SandWings' Moons Festival, but instead they celebrate Dragons. Inventors, historical figures, and, most importantly, the dragons of the present, who are free to do as they want, to make their own choices.

There are a few side plots that were introduced in Arc 4, however, such as Blizzard x Clam (a female SeaWing who befriends Blizzard before Blizzard met Peacemaker). A 400 year old continental conflict between the three tribes of the third continent called the Decade of Destruction because the war spanned over just longer than 10 years, there were constant natural disasters, and many majors revolts and upheavals. A kinda-sorta love triangle between Dusky, Bumblebee, and Vernonia. And a string of mysterious murders throughout the third continent where bodies were found with precise amputations on random limbs and/or other body parts and that the bodies found were also usually a couple or were partners.
