Yep! Although they're really for me more than anything. They don't really show up anywhere in the story. If anything it would only be the complementary colors to the ones I associate with them just because I need ideas for what color and material their outfits should be.

Mariel: pale blue/baby blue, pink

Wilkes: red, white

So to answer the question...

Mariel: She thinks lying is bad. She is someone who values honesty and integrity pretty highly so being lied to or lying to someone else is something that she really dislikes. HOWEVER, she will lie under very special circumstances (life or death situations) but she's not very good at it. She excels mostly in lies of omission so because of that she can take a lie pretty far if the subject of the lie is avoided. Otherwise, you can see right through her.

Axtapor: Has ZERO issues lying, to certain people. There are some people like his grandma and Mariel that he has a very hard time lying to. Generally, the more he cares about you, the less capable he is of lying. That said, he will lie, though it takes a lot less for him to do it than it does for Mariel. He will take a lie to his grave, depending on what kind of truth it's concealing even if it's at a personal detriment to him.

Fay: Like Axtapor has no issues with lying. In fact, you can count on 99% percent of what comes out of her mouth to be a lie. In true pirate fashion, she cannot and should not be trusted. She'll take a lie as far as it can go and if she can't continue lying after that, and she's backed into a corner. Well...consider the lie taken to your grave.

Wilkes: He prefers to lie. He and Fay have that in common, they are very private and will tell lies to keep others out of their business and sometimes for no reason at all. He in particular is a master of deception, so he can lie to you and make it sound like the truth. He's also like Fay in this regard, he will make you take his lie to the grave.

Lexlar & Hartim: These two are somewhere between Mariel and Axtapor when it comes to lying. They will only lie if there is something or someone they want to protect. Even though they are pirates, they have a fierce sense of duty and integrity so lying doesn't come as easily to them. Once the lie starts hurting others, especially those they care about, they will fess up.

What is the most embarrassing thing a blorbo or OC of yours has ever done?

Most embarrassing thing... I think most of the things that Axtapor does are pretty embarrassing (definitely leaning on the more dumb side of things) though he certainly wouldn't think so. He was born without the ability to feel shame I think lol. But if I had to pick one instance where he did show some shame it would be when he was around 18 or so. He was already aboard the Lyre at the time and was absolutely NOT good at holding his liquor so he ended up fully nude and singing to his own reflection in the water because he thought it was a siren. In AASOAF, sirens must be sung to otherwise they'll attack you, so he really thought he was fighting for his life LOL. To this day he will not share that story with anyone, but I will hehe.

Fay draws a few runes in the air to make a portal so she can look at the ocean inside it.

Hartim spreads out his hood and bows his head to pray.

Lexlar does a flourish with his sword. Every now and then the animation changes and he drops it instead then laughs at himself.

If your blorbos had a Baldur's Gate-style idle animation, what would they each be?

I think if you left Silas Chrissie to wait long enough, he'd pull a pack of cards out of his pocket and start dealing out a game of solitaire. Sitora would probably start drilling sword fighting forms.

actors saying "yeah we sensed some romantic chemistry in the script so we leaned into that while filming, were glad that came across in the final cut" or "this character reminded me of my autistic older sibling so i did my best to portray that" arent "headcanons" bc they worked on the damn movie and werent writing fanfiction, its not their fault you think an actors job is to say things at a camera for a paycheck...

i do think that in general, the actors dont have as much of a say on canon as the writers and directors do, but to an extent, if they decided to intentionally play a character with something in mind and that portrayal is approved by everyone else working on the show or movie, i dont see why that should be disregarded. like the actors are the people who are breathing life into those characters, theyre not just set dressing moving chess pieces around. theyre like the psychic mediums allowing you to talk to your dead family members except instead of meemaw its some fake person who never existed in the first place. but its their job to make you THINK theyre real for 22-200 minutes and part of that means making them feel like they exist outside of what was written in the script

As far as I’m concerned as long as the game is a mechanically enjoyable experience I’ll keep playing, whether the card depicts Klupus the Greedsower from Rebels of Gulpy or Blorbo Blorbin from Universes Beyond: My Shows
