Off topic but maybe good to know. Here is the link for the wildfire smoke map of North America. It’s updated often so at any time you go to it the smoke levels are close to real time. (The image above will remain the same but if you click on it you can see the current map at any time.)

I see that Tumblr is replacing the link with an image. It does that every time I try to change it to the link. Working on it. Meanwhile here’s an image of the link. You can’t click on it but you can copy it either by typing it out one character at a time or by downloading the picture of it and copying it from the photo if you can do that on your device.

Spiderlóng (They/she/he/any), Universe 20777813's one and only, is a slayer of monsters and defender of the last vestiges of Humanity in their home city of Darkhill, Arizona. Where undead outnumber the living 8:1, and the sky is ever full of storms, they are their world's last remaining point where the sun shines through.

Juno Johari was 15 when the world ended, which was frankly enough already, if not for getting infected with the very virus bringing Humanity to its knees - Mel Mors. The carrier was a spider, and with a bodymass far insignificant to a human, they managed to survive, but were forever changed by the encounter.

Down a family after having run away to not risk spreading the sickness, they pledged what life they have left to protecting what remains of their home.

But upon being discovered by the wider Multiverse, and being given temporary residence in Spider Society, they decide to be exactly the cheer they don't have the chance to be in their own universe; remembered for their laughter and unending kindness, this spiderperson mentions nothing of the world they inevitably go back to, and nothing of the blood stains they periodically wash from their clothes.
