The writing in Metal Gear (1987) continues to crack me up. Diane finally stopped doing Generic Woman Activities™ (shopping, showering) and gives me advice when I call now (when she picks up, anyway) but she delivers it in the most condescending way possible. It's like:
Snake: Hello Diane this is Snake. I'm fighting a giant tank that wants to crush my guts out like a toothpaste tube. Please help

almost got into another head on collision while out driving to go get gas, but i somehow managed to swerve out of the way in time, phew. 😮💨
#*carly catalogs#was going almost 40mph on a 35mph road when some idiot in a white truck pulled out in front of me from the left to go straight#but it's not an intersection it's just a straight backroad behind a couple neighborhoods#with a couple turn offs so people can... you know.... actually get into those neighborhoods and go home#which ig is the only thing this kid was focused on (driver looked to be about 19 when i yelled at him through my rolled up window)#but holy christ some other 19yr old did this to me last year after failing to yield at a yellow light and MY GOD was that the biggest hastle#especially bc she was apparently delivering doordash at the time so i had to go through their company policies and insurance#disagree with me all you want idgaf but they need to increase the age of when you're able to drive (in america at least)#ik i sound like a boomer saying this but these damn kids are too addicted to their phones to be behind the wheel at 15/16#i always make sure to have my bluetooth set up before i go anywhere#then i can just control it with the radio dials and leave my phone in the center console#anyway....#i can't believe i had my life flash before my eyes like that a second time#tbd

gaymers, i fear i have lost the controller war.
#the usb-c port on my pc doesn't work#the bluetooth doesn't work#there is only one option left#but it's not really much of an option because it requires me#1. digging out a ps4 controller and cord from the basement and cleaning them both off#2. seeing if they can even be plugged into the only other usb port easily accessible#3. cleaning off headset and using that because i won't be able to use the mic i bought due to the controller being plugged in where it goes#problem with that part is i'm not entirely sure my piercings are healed up or not#they're still kinda tender so i'm Assuming not but i don't really know. would rather be safe than sorry#and if they Aren't then i guess it's just a matter of waiting but. the other two things are still a factor#and they aren't Impossible by any means#but it's just such a pain in the fucking ass#this whole Process has been a pain in my fucking ass. i just wanted to use a controller for p5s man.#talks.txt

I miss playing overwatch so much. I was grandmaster/top 500 of my region with BRAZIL IN THE MIX playing as SUPPORT, you know how HARD that is?? im main SUPPORT because I HATE myself but I have a thing for people cursing me and wishing I was dead, so who's the real winner here huh?
also. I always thought it was kinda racist? (idk if that is precisely the word I'd use) to match latinamerica together and brazil in the mix because we don't speak the SAME LANGUAGE so it was HELL to communicate.
but I DID learned how to curse in portuguese, enrichment of culture ✨
