Há um ano, o fotógrafo @t_borba voltou a sua terra natal, Salvador de Bahia par iniciar o projeto «Black is Beautiful #BLVCKSBTFLL ». Ele nos contou sobre seu projeto e o propósito : voltar às origens, mostrar a beleza negra, tornar visível o humano : « A ideia do Black is beautiful é criar um recorte atualizado da identidade afro-brasileira. Tenho a série em São Paulo, no Rio e grande parte em #Salvador. A minha ideia é fazer em 5 cidades no #brasil. A ideia e criar esse panorama dessa identidade afro-brasileira, que curiosamente não foi feito ou foi feito a partir dum olhar folclorizado através da religião ou do samba de roda. Mas sempre com esse olhar ligado ao folclorismo do corpo negro não é um olhar a partir da identidade humana do negro: sempre tem o candomblé na frente, a capoeira, o acarajé. Tem algo a frente do corpo negro como se a existência dele não valesse além.
