Hancock and Sora propaly has a age gap like Mihawk x Boa, but hear me out: I hc that Sora had Reiju when she was between 19-22, so makes her having the 1234ji with 22-25, and when Sanji and her are saved by a eighteen Boa, she would have 30-33, more pra less the same age as Mihawk (and also, the DYNAMIC!)

Makino x Sora? Perfect. Sora ran away from Germa with Sanji and stop at Dawn to hide, Sanji finds the ASL+Makino while he is stealing some food and they go help him and his mother (bc Makino is worried about the boy). So both womens just start to live near in case Sora needs help and thry fall in love <3

Corazon x Sora? Pair of sweet blondes who LOVES their children. Sora run away with Sanji and finds Cora (who is with Law) decides to help them and end up falling in love with her. Later on he almost dies bc of Doflamingo but survives and lives with his wife in a small island.

Okay so Hancock x Sora. They are saved and brought to lesbian island. Sora has gotta be teasing Boa like Mihawk does but she makes good on her promises and absolutely flusters Boa. Boa absolutely claims Sanji as her baby as well again and they're a happy little family. Boa using her royal status to spoil them but this is the SASSIEST family. If Boa is still swooning for Luffy, Sora HAS to be looking at her wife with the most unimpressed look. When Boa comes back and whines to her wife their kid is dating Luffy and Sora has to remind her that age gaps can be weird and the way she was doing it was making it weird. Boa looks at her with confusion and Sora explains that Boa flirted with her first. They are absolutely those lesbians that uhaul'd and then got married, and grew old together, they are THE dykes of the pirating world. They have to have the best sex life too tbh.

Makino x Sora. Could you also imagine if this when Shanks is there? Like Luffy and Makino find this Sanji stealing food and then finds Sora after the second or third time. Shanks somehow hasn't lost his arm yet but absolutely plays THE WORST wingman to those women. Sora is somehow the biggest help to Luffy after he eats the devil fruit and then Shanks loses his arm and leaves. Makino and Sora are doing their best to mother these kids but then Luffy disappears and comes back with more??? In the interim the women have gotten together. Sabo knows the queen of Germa when he sees her because he's been to several Reveries but Sora tells him it's a secret or they will all die. She's not even joking and then pats Sabo on the head. When ASL see her kiss Makino for the first time they ask Sanji about it and he's like 'idk, she's better than my dad' which Ace says Makino is better than his dad too.

Sora x Corazon. This man and his lead poisoned son find Sora and Sanji, her sick and dying as well and Sanji starved and matted. Fuck it, they could all band together and survive. Right? Right. They're traveling and Law is getting sicker and Sora is plateaued in her illness so that's probably a good thing. Cora is carrying both of them as Sanji follows as fast as his little legs will carry him. They bond over the kids and the kids bond over death. Listen, their fucked up, all of them. They save Law and Corazon from Doflamingo and death. Sora manages to stop the bleeding and asks where the boys are. So when he is propped and set to live and hidden somewhere she goes and finds the boys. They settle on an island until the boys set off, even if they don't think Sanji is quite old enough to be a pirate. It's fine, Law keeps Sanji on ship duties only until he's like fifteen and now he's Law's left hand. Cora and Sora(fuck i love that) display their sons proudly and the kids hang new photos their parents send them regularly. Cora is usually holding his much smaller wife with a cigarette in his mouth while on fire and Sora smiling widely while dumping water on her husband's flaming coat.

Who do you not write for in one piece?

That's a good question since there are so many characters in OP! Some who come to mind immediately are Queen, Who's Who, Sasaki, and a few other newer characters. Not bc I hate them, I really like Beasts Pirates, but I feel like I don't have a strong enough grasp on the characters mentioned imo. Otherwise, I've created a list of OP characters that I feel I understand enough and do write for! Also if a character who is underage is listed, I will only write general HCs or fluff around them. I'm a little late on getting this second part up, but it's not like tv shows have schedules or time frames or anything so it's fine.

Sora: Warrior Of The Sea

BTS Blue Ray Extra: Costumes, Hair & Make Up (Part Two: Sora & Allies)

Boa's, Zoro's and X. Drake's (cast as Brími) as well as Ace's non raid suit are all pretty easy deals, since they're all upper ranking marine uniforms. Fortunately, officers are given a little more freedom with their uniforms, allowing Bon Clay to added some of the characters' personalities to their appearences.

So of course Boa Hancock brings in a team of her own fashion consultant to design Vice Admiral Reijin Umiko uniform form scratch. She couldn't bare to spend a whole who knows how many seasons in something forgettable and drab. And since Production Policy is "just try not to piss off Hancock" she ends up with the uniform she wants. Which is mostly just a marine cape, no sleeves, and a variety of designer outfits.

X. Drake's character, Himiya Brími , is a retire Rear Admiral, though he still stays in touch with his naval contacts, and acts almost as an outside consultant. So the costuming department decides to go with something navy like but without the officer coat. They go with a short white jacket with red fur accents that looks like Brimi might have worn it as a uniform at one point only the marine insignias are all gone. He wears black, leather like pants and gloves that go up to his nearly his wrist despite most of that being under the coat to cover the burn marks up and down his arm. The jacket is typically left unbuttoned, showing off the tattoo of his former division - the Fire Lizards.

Portgas D. Ace looks handsome as hell in full navy dress, identical to what Captain Akitsuyo Sora. is seen wearing in the comics, and also hates everything about it. Why are the pants so tight? He runs hot already there's no way he can deal with three (three!) Shirts. He wants to throw it in a dumpster and burn the whole thing.

Eventually they agree that he can go shirtless, but he has to wear the full proper captain's coat, not just hang it over his shoulders like most do. They get him some slightly more comfortable white trousers and let him wear black boots beneath them. Bon Clay accents the uniform in his characters colors and everyone but even Law eventually comes around and agrees it works.

Of course, Sora's more iconic look is his stolen Germa 66 Raid Suit. The costume department upgrades that design, same as they had the other Raid Suits, mostly by streamlining it, adding the more technological looking boots, adding in some detail to his gloves and.making the helmet a little less goofy (although of course it's still a must as neither Germa not the navy know Sora's identity at the start. At least it doesn't have a seagull on it like in the Saturday morning cartoon). Basically, they just being if closer in line with the other raid suit designs.

Somehow, even with the helmet, Ace looks amazing in that, too.

For Roronoa Zoro's uniform as Lieutenant Tadahiro Daichi, Bon Clay stats him off in just the basic lieutenant uniform, assuming Zoro will likewise have tons of notes. (It's a bit concerning he brought his swords with him). Surprisingly, he has no comments. He doesn't even bother looking in a mirror, instead making sure he can still move enough in sword fight, which he totally can. So he's fine with it.

Law thinks it might be an actual miracle.

Until Bon Clay speaks up. He really hadn't been expecting no comments and he refuses to accept it. You can't put him next to the main character wearing a genetic uniform. He pretty much demands Zoro strips on the spot so he can fix this travesty. Law is quick to leave before the headache starts.

 When he comes back, Zoro's has a much baggier coat that goes just bellow his waist And is inexplicably light green. He has the sleeves, which would swallow him otherwise, rolled up high. Its technically on, except it's big enough that it keeps falling off his shoulders. By all rights it should fall open and off except just under the waist there's a belt has been added for his swords, making the V shaped opening look like a very short kimono.

 To counter the lose fit of the coat his pants - dark green cause why not - seem impossibly tight. Laws surprised they got him in those without a fight. The only part of the once white uniform to remain the same color is a white sleeveless button down vest that, again, is way too tight for Law's liking and also somehow looks worse than if he were just shirtless. There's no way he can fight in that thing, he can probably barely /breath/.

Law keeps waiting for Zoro to start making comments but again, he has nothing to say. He does his little practice moves, slides the sword back around his waist and finally smiles.

"I like the belt, this is way more practical," he tells Bon Clay. Law wonders if he knows what the word practical means. Pants that cling to every curve of muscle and a vest with buttons clearly meant to be ripped off is not suddenly made practical just because there's an easy place to hang a sword. Also, he's suppose to be a high ranked marine but they can't buy him coat that fits instead of one that keeps slipping off his shoulders?

 So of course everyone but Law thinks it's perfect (even though as far as he can tell Zoro never once actually looks in mirror. It seems the ability to still do his own sword fights really was his only requirement.)

Law can't explain it, just like he can't really explain why he dislikes Zoro so immensely, but he hates that costume.

Because of course this is before they even strat shooting, meaning Law would still be pissy at Zoro by this point, and suddenly he finds himself pissed off and turned on all at once.

Law is going to look back at this in a year and hate himself when it finally clicks. He just left Zoro, shirt already falling off, with Ace - who the whole crew agrees looks incredibly sexy in the uniform and that was before he lost the shirt - and not only is Ace not irrationally upset at Zoro, he's all too happy to help out the newbie actor even if it's just something like reassuring him how he looks amazing in costume and hey if Zoro has any questions or something he can always come to Ace. His door is always open to Zoro.

Law hates Ace in part because Ace is just so open about flirting and he does it so easily and he's so sexy when he does it and fuck, nope, not going there. Not going to that weird place where the thought of Ace and Zoro together makes him want to scream but it also conjures images of them together infront of him on a bed at his mercy and THAT IS NOT WHERE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO GO WITH THIS

He's angry and he's jealous but he's also about three seconds away from pushing Zoro up against Ace because Law can't help but find the idea of Zoro begging for two men so incredibly sexy it literally breaks his brain. Oh, he's still jealous as fuck, but that doesn't stop him wanting to rip that damn uniform right of the stuntman and see how far him and Portgas-ya could push him until he breaks.

“Mama! Papa!” You and Sanji’s daughter exclaimed as she held up a drawing of you three, “Look! Usopp sensei taught me how to draw!”

The three stick figures stood on the grass field, with Sunny in the back where there would usually be a house, and a classic round sun in the top right corner of the paper.

“That’s beautiful, Sora.” Sanji smiled warmly at his child, “do you want me to tape it on the wall?”

“Yes! Please do.” She giggled

The reason why you two decided to name her Sora, wasn’t only because his mother is named Sora, but also because you liked the warrior of the sea, like a typical North Blue child.

You watched as Sanji taped up the drawing along with Sora in the kitchen. Smiling brightly.

This seemed like a perfect ending to a story, a happily ever after.

After this day, whenever Sora drew something, Sanji would immediately tape it up. At first it was only the kitchen, and then slowly progressed into the boy’s dorm, and then the whole entire Sunny.

Everyone is complaining, except for Robin, Franky, Brook, and Usopp. But everyone loved Sora enough that they wouldn't try to take it down.

Life went on like this for a few years, and the straw hat pirates disbanded. You, Sanji, and Sora quit life on the seas and settled down on a little island in the North Blue.

Everything is perfect as it is, and you hope it continues like this.

“Thank you, please come again!”

Waving goodbye to another customer, you stretch your arms and sigh. “Another busy day of business.” You sang and Penguin chuckles beside you, turning the open sign to closed.

“It makes sense today was a little busier. Don’t you know what day it is?”

“How could I forget, with the amount of envelopes we’ve received from customers?” Gesturing to the pile of stacked red envelopes on the counter behind the register, Shachi and Penguin laugh once more.

“It’s a good thing we decided to open on New Years though, I heard almost every store is closed.” Shachi says, taking off his apron and hanging it up.

You began doing the same, smiling at the thought. Sure, you were exhausted but the amount of customers that came in meant tons of cash, so it was worth it.

“Oh, Shachi! Did you get a personal red envelope from anyone?” Penguin asks, and Shachi shrugs. “Besides my parents and Bepo, I don’t think so. Did you?”

“Not yet, but I heard Boa Hancock has a personal envelope and hasn’t given it to anyone yet.” Penguin grins with a small pink blush across his cheeks, and his words shocked Shachi. “Really? No way!”

Unable to help yourself from overhearing, you laugh lightly. “Sorry, boys. I heard she’s giving it to some guy named Luffy. The one with the straw hat, remember? He barged in here one day, asking for meat with his brothers.”

The two began to sulk at you. “Seriously?.. how lucky..”

Rolling your eyes, you glance at the time. Seeing the clock strike eight, you grin a bit.

You dust your clothes and made sure everything was neat in your area before grabbing your things that you needed.

“Alright, I’m heading out for the night. I’ll see you both in a couple of days. Remember to lock up!”

Penguin nods sullenly before perking up, noticing you already heading for the door. “Wait, aren’t you going to grab some of the envelopes?”

Understanding what he meant, you shrug. “I’ll pick up my share later on. Go ahead and take as many as you two want though.”

With that, you quickly open the door and head out, waving to the two of them before leaving completely.

“Wonder what’s the rush.” Shachi comments and Penguin shrugs, beginning to sweep the shop while Shachi began putting chairs away.

“No way, sold out already?”

Staring at the window display, your shoulders dropped in disappointment at the large sign that signaled the status of the item you’ve been waiting all day for.

Your lips slowly curled into a pout, clearly upset at not being able to be one of the many people who were able to get a copy of the limited edition remake of Sora, Warrior of the Sea comic series.

It was a once in a lifetime situation, considering there were only a few copies of the remake, since it included extra scenes and artwork.

“I can’t believe it..”

“What a pity.”

Whirling your head around to see Law leaning against the wall of the building, a particular book in hand.

“Law? What do you want?.. and is that-!”

“How cruel. I stood here waiting for you to arrive, knowing you’d be upset that it was sold out.” Law states, feigning a look of hurt as he stands up straight.

You furrow your brows at him, not at him for the amount of time it was sold out, but the fact that he actually stood there for as long it was sold out and you arrived.

“What, so you waited for me to laugh in my face about it?”

You never particularly liked Law but you didn’t hate him either. He was attractive yes, but he often got on your nerves with his teasing attitude, his dumb ass smirk, etc.

“Do you think so low about me all the time? It hurts my feelings.” Law hums, making his way towards you as he swung the book around a bit in his hand.

You roll your eyes and sighed. “Right.. well, I guess I’ll get going then. I left the cafe just to find it was worth nothing so.. I better get back to help Penguin and Shachi clean up..” you mumble, clearing your throat and turned around.

Law hums as he stops behind you. “Leaving already? I haven’t even gotten to offer you the book yet.”

Your eyes widen as you whirl around excitedly. “Wait, really?!”

The male closes his eyes with a innocent smile. “Of course. Feel free to take it.” You didn’t even question him as you quickly went to reach for your book eagerly, only to nearly trip in the process when Law pulled away.

He then held it up his head, smirking teasingly. “It’s right here, [Name]-ya. Just reach for it.” Law hums, waving the comic book in the air.

You sent him a small scowl as you reach up for the book once more, just for him to grab your wrist and roughly pull you into his chest,

Lips now right next to your ear, Law hums.

“If you wanted me that badly, you could’ve just asked.”

The unexpected action was enough to bring the heat up to your cheeks, quickly reaching the tips of your ears. “As if!”

Seeing your visible blush was enough to satisfy him, an amused smile spreading across his lips before pulling away from you.

Law turns around, back facing you as he checks the first page of the comic in his hand for a brief moment.

Reassured what was on the front page, he closed it and turned back to face you.

Smirking lightly, Law held out the book for you, before a genuine small smile was seen from him. “Here.”

You eyed him suspiciously for a minute before a wide grin came over you, and you eagerly took the book from him. “Thanks, Law!”

The pink tint of your cheeks and excited smile on your lips made Law’s heart skip a beat, but he wouldn’t admit it.

The male only nods before turning away, his hand up with a wave. “See you around. Happy Lunar Year.”

With that, he began leaving without waiting for your response, hands shoved into his pockets as he did so.

You didn’t seem to mind, too busy thinking about actually having the comic book in your hands and went to see the first page, wondering what it looked like.

However, the sight shocked you.

Upon opening the cover, the blank page showed a bit of writing along with a red envelope.

‘To [ Name LastName ], hope you’re grateful.’

Was all it read as you slowly reached for the red envelope and pulled the seal open.

Inside, instead of it being money, it was a folded paper. Curiosity took over as you pulled it out and read it.

‘You’re welcome. Happy Lunar Year, [ Name ]-ya. I like seeing you smile and I knew you’d want the latest remake of the comic so I made sure to get it. Don’t be a klutz and ruin it.’

and right near the bottom was his phone number, with two words. ‘Let’s talk.’

Irritation was evident in your eyes but the small warm smile took over your emotions as you held the paper tightly in your hands.

Law sure was an unexpected type.

Meanwhile, as Law walked away, he looked down at his path as he did so, warmth spreading over his cheeks at what he did and the image of your excited grin was plastered in his mind.

You and Roxas were on a mission to stop an evil wizard who’s been torturing the different worlds. The two of you had a plan of action, but the wizard was faster. He hit you with one of his spells and you turned into a toddler. Roxas picked you up and quickly took you to his apartment. He did some research while trying to keep you from falling off the bed. He took you to the store and bought you some toys and some toddler needs. He went home and he got everything settled. You walked over to one of new toys you got and played with them. You wanted to play with Roxas as well so you grabbed one of your toys and handed it to Roxas. Roxas got the message and played with you. You played with some ponies, and some barbies. 

“Woxas! Wet’s play dwess up!” you said. He blushed and looked away. He couldn’t deny that you looked so cute, but dressing up?! It was bad enough that he wore a maid dress one time (y’all remember that?). He did want you to be happy while the spell lasts. You gave him a tiara and a boa scarf. He even let you put makeup on him. You put on a princess costume, tiara, boa, and makeup. You set up your little table that he got you along with your toy tea set. The two of you pretended to be part of a royal family and drinking pretend tea until the front door opened. Roxas turned around and saw Sora and Kairi. The two of them started laughing and he growled. 

“Not. A word.” he growled. 

“W-what happened?!” Sora wheezed. Roxas explained what happened and you explained what you two are doing in that cute little toddler voice. Kairi whispered in Sora’s ear, saying that they should join them. Sora agreed and you guys spent the rest of the day playing together. When it came to bedtime, you changed into one of Roxas’ shirts and climbed into bed with him. He read you a bedtime story about princesses. You fell asleep after the story and so did he. Sora noticed how Roxas hasn’t left the bedroom and went to check on him. He opened the door and you hugging Roxas’s arm while you two slept. Sora quickly grabbed his phone and took a picture. He closed the door gently and showed Kairi the picture. 

“He’s gonna be so mad when he finds out about that picture.” Kairi giggled. 

“True. But it’s gonna be worth it.” Sora said. The two of them cleaned up the apartment and went home, after sending the picture to all of Roxas’ friends on KeyGram. When Roxas woke up, you were back to normal, still hugging his arm and sleeping. He grabbed his phone from the nightstand and saw that he had a whole bunch of notifications. He opened KeyGram and saw Sora’s post. He was gonna kill him. But he’ll do it later. Right now, he wants to cuddle with you. He gently moved closer to you so that you wouldn’t wake up and cuddled you. 

“I love you baby.” he whispered and fell back asleep.

Rafael is a cute type of drunk.

Not the giggly one. Rather, he was the drunk whose musings are, as said, cute.

As Estelle drank her vodka cocktail alone in her apartment, she can’t help but to think about her ex-lover, and a few of his drunk ramblings.

“You... do you know Estelle means star?” he asked her sleepily.

As they laid together in her bed after a karaoke night with their friends, it was obvious he was already trying his best to stay awake.

“Mm, I do,” She ran a hand through his hair, pushing it back and away from his face, while she had a small smile on her own.

Technically, the Latin name Stella meant star, and Estelle is only the French version of it, but she did not need to get into that now. She was a little tipsy herself, but it was obvious the other was more drunk, and sleepier.

“Good. And you know... Valentine’s Day is basically... uh... Heart’s day, right? So Valentine is heart?” Rafael continued, and Estelle let out a soft chuckle.

“Basically, yes.” she agreed.

“You always call me Superman, don’t you? And so I thought, I should also give you your own superhero name. It’s Star-Heart.”

Estelle smiled even more, and she realized she had been smiling for too long already when her cheeks started to hurt. “That’s adorable, Superman. That is officially my superhero name starting tonight. Star-Heart reporting for duty.”

Rafael couldn’t help his wide grin. “I’m glad you like it. It’s just so fitting, you know? Not just... not only with the- with...your names. Star because you’re so bright, Estelle. And you- you light up any room you walk into. And heart... you’re so, so kind. I love that you still have a kind heart no matter how brilliant you are. I...”

He was clearly about to say something more, and she could almost see the gears in his head turning as he frowned, debating in his head whether he should continue or not.

Obviously deciding against it, Rafael gave her another sheepish grin. “Boa noite, meu amor.”

Estelle smiled at him, despite her heart going crazy. She wanted to finally hear the words he’s always hinted. Hell, she wanted to tell him that herself. But if even drunk him was still not ready, then she figured she should continue biting on her tongue.

“It’s Star-Heart to you, senhor.” she just said, continuing to humor him.

That was a nickname that never really stuck between the two of them, but there were a few weeks that Rafael received texts from Star-Heart instead of favorite doctor. Estelle remembered the first time she changed her contact name on his phone, teasing him about that night. Whenever she noticed he changed it back she’d change it again, and it went on for a few weeks.

It stopped after a particular Friday night and they went out for drinks again.

They sat together in a booth, their friends scattered around the bar doing their own thing, and as soon as Estelle got her hands on Rafael’s phone she decided to check her name yet again then change it. However, instead of seeing favorite doctor, like always, the name read meu amor.

She recalls almost having the guts to actually say the three words.

“My love?” She gave him a playful grin, this time more intoxicated than she usually lets herself be. “You always call me that.”

Estelle was somehow able to grin wider as she watched Rafael blush.

“You don’t like it? I can–”

She was quick to interrupt him. “No! I like it,” she promised. “But do you mean it?” She set his phone back down on the table, resting her hand atop his, lightly squeezing.

“Of course I do, Estelle. You know, I do.”

“Then say it,” she dared, heart hammering in her chest. Rafael smiled wide, just about to, but Estelle interrupted him again.

“Actually, no, let me say it.” She almost giggled as they both blushed, staring at each other’s eyes, and she also took his other hand in hers. “Rafael Aveiro, my Superman–”

“GO! KARTS! GO! KARTS! GO! KARTS!” their friends started chanting back to their booth before she could continue.

They were sober enough to agree to go racing but still with alcohol in their systems to drag the two of them with the rest of the gang.

They slept in the same bed again that night, but her short moment of courage was over. And neither of the two had it in them to bring it up again.

Estelle takes three gulps of her drink. They were both really stupid. She was stupid.   

How hard was it to tell the person you love that you love them? She screams in her mind that it literally only took three words, and once again she feels angry at herself for being a coward. If she had been brave, maybe she wouldn’t be drinking herself to sleep in her room right now. Or maybe she’d still be drunk, but so would Rafael be, and they’d cuddle up in her bed like they used to and sleep comfortably in each other’s arms.

The what ifs are quick to invade Estelle’s mind.

What if she said ‘I love you’ that night? What if he did? Would he still leave her for Sora, or those three unspoken words would have been enough to make him stay?

The last time she let herself think about him, she already promised she won’t blame herself anymore. It was important she knew that it wasn’t her fault, and that Rafael left because he wanted to. He simply made a choice: his own.

But with the earlier events of tonight, she wasn’t sure about that anymore.

Right after her shift and she got time to freshen up, she made her way to Donahue’s. She headed straight to the bar to get herself a drink, not even waiting for her friends anymore. She waited to get the attention of the bartender who was currently talking to a drunk customer, refusing them another drink.

With a singular focus to get a shot, she realized about a minute too late who the said customer was, now broadcasting not only to the bartender but to the people around him that he probably needs someone to call him a car.

“Rafael?” She walked towards him, simply giving the bartender an apologetic smile and they share a nod.

Before she can fully wrap her head around the situation, Estelle finds herself in a booth with Rafael. It is painfully familiar to how they used to spend the end of their work week. Although instead of having a few bottles and glasses and an assortment of finger foods in front of them, Rafael is drinking water and Estelle had yet to take the first swig of her beer.

They still hang out, sure. They never really stopped even after they ‘broke up’, but nowadays only with Bryce and her other roommates. Being in this scenario now, it feels like crossing a line.

“How’s your week?” Rafael asks, but quickly catches himself. “Or…uh, I’m– should I not ask?”

“It’s okay,” she gives him a small smile. “Work is…work. I guess just the usual.”

She takes a moment to take him in, staring up into his brown eyes and swallowing the lump in her throat. “Should I ask about how the suspension’s going?”

He grins, and she isn’t sure if it’s just the alcohol or the smile really doesn’t reach up his eyes. “It sure is going.”

“Somehow I just perfectly understand that,” she gives him another smile. Estelle thinks to herself that so far this was going well. What they had was pretty special: maybe they can truly get past the awkwardness and be normal friends.

But what he says next makes her forget that thought in less than a second. “We broke up.”

“You and…Sora?” she asks. She instantly realized it was a useless response, but she was too surprised. Why? And is he telling this to her as his friend or his ex-lover?

Thankfully being a smartass isn’t really Rafael’s style. “Yeah, Sora and I.”

“What happened?” About a hundred emotions floods her chest, but she chooses to focus on genuine concern for her obviously upset friend. She realizes only now just how deep his frown was, and that there was hurt and longing behind his eyes.

“She said she was disappointed that it took me this long to open up about…us.”

She found it hard to find her next words, cheeks burning upon hearing his words. “And she broke up with you because of that?”

“No, not exactly. I…I told her I loved her.” At this point Rafael’s eyes can’t meet hers, his finger tracing circles on his glass.

“So she broke up with you because she doesn’t feel the same way? Oh, that sucks, Raf. I’m so sorry...” Estelle feels for him and wishes he didn’t have to go through this. Yes, she vividly felt the pain clenching her heart which extended all the way to her fingertips as her mind repeated that fact that the person she loves just told her he loved someone else. But Rafael is such a genuine, sweet person. No matter what happened between them he only deserves happiness.

He smiles, but she sees just how empty it was. “She said she does. She broke up with me because according to her I don’t feel the same way.”

“That… doesn’t make sense. You just told her you loved her, didn’t you?”

“Sometimes we say things we don’t really mean,” he quotes Sora’s words. “It just… yeah, it sucks. You’d think at our age I’d be better at relationships already but here I am.”

Estelle responds with silence and looks down at his free hand resting on the table. She wants to take it, to let him know she’s right here with him despite not having the right words. But everything he’s said so far, she is yet to absorb. So she decides against it– biting onto her lip softly as she waited for him to continue.

“Do you think I shouldn’t have said it?” he asks after a long moment. “Not tell her I loved her?”

She fights back the tears that threatened to form in her eyes. “Raf, I’m sure–”

“It’s not like I don’t love her, you know? I guess maybe… maybe it’s too early to say it. And she’s right, I do have complicated feelings. But I know we can have something– special.” Rafael interrupts. “I just thought, with the two of us, I waited far too long to tell you how I really felt. And we… I mean I– I ruined it and I… we, didn’t work out. So I thought getting it out there early, telling her I love her, would… make it work.”

Estelle takes a moment to let that sink in, but ultimately fails. The only thing her brain processed was about him not telling her the truth. “You waited too long to tell me what?”

He sighs softly. “You know what I’m talking about, Estelle.”

“No, I actually don’t, Raf. And I think you should just be straight with me right now because you broke up with me. And now it seems you’re implying that you didn’t get the chance, like I didn’t give you a chance, to tell me that–” she stops herself, realizing her raising tone.

Her cheeks flushes in anger, fist clenching under the table. She’s thought about this happening countless of times, but not like this. Not only he was drunk, but he didn’t even plan the confession.

Rafael’s eyes widen as he slowly understood what she said, and he quickly looks at her apologetically. “I’m sorry, Estelle. I know that. But what I’m saying this time is true, I loved you. And fuck, it’s stupid and a complication, and might be the actual reason why Sora ended things with me last week, but I still do, Estelle. It’s...”

He swallows the lump in his throat, biting on his lip, his words and emotions currently all over the place and obviously so. He’s starting to realize that he’s being insensitive, that he shouldn’t be saying all these to her. He’s aware he might be hurting her right now, but God, he’s kept this for so long and he wouldn’t be able to sleep if he keeps it for one more night. He’d already wasted plenty of chances. Tonight’s stolen chance, this is finally going to be the one he takes.

“Before anything else, we’re friends, Estelle. So I owe it to you to be honest, and because I’ll go crazy if I don’t let you know. I’m still in love with you.”

Not like this. Tears pool in her eyes, making her vision blurry. She instinctively blinks, only making it stream through her cheeks. Rafael looks extremely guilty upon seeing her crying, but he’s unable to move nor speak again.

She knew he’s not doing this to be cruel. He’s probably barely registering his confessions in his mind, and only more oblivious to the fact that what he’s saying is not pleasant and is hurting her. She’s mad at the situation. She’s mad at what’s happening, very, but she blames the alcohol and not him. But even so, she just couldn’t take any more.

By the time a full minute passes, she is already out of the bar. She spends a few moments in the back alley crying as she spammed Bryce with texts, telling him to take care of their drunk friend. As soon as he assures her he will, she leaves and makes her way home, but only after buying drinks from the nearest convenience store.

And so now, she is laid on a blanket on her floor, finishing her third-or-maybe-fourth bottle, thinking about her ex-lover. Or is it just lover now, with his admission? God, tonight was messy.

Where was the drunk Rafael who gave her a superhero name? The one who goes on and on about how amazing she was. The one who argued to her unprovoked that homemade cooking is always better, and actually made some good points. What horrible thing did she do that she had to cross paths with Rafael tonight when he’s too honest and far from having cute ramblings?

I love you. Oh, this godawful phrase. When she’s kept up awake at night, it’s almost always because of these three words. The irony that she’s just as restless even after finally hearing it from him.

She loves him, that was still a fact, yes. Perhaps that’s what makes everything more complicated.

Does it mean they’ll get back together? Does he even want them to? Does she?

Fortunately, she didn’t have to come to a conclusion tonight. And soon enough she falls asleep with even more thoughts about Rafael.

The hangover next morning isn’t so bad. The universe is probably making it up to her after last night’s events. She starts to think that today would be good. It’s her day off, after all. But, soft knocks at her door already interrupts her.

She sits up, swallowing the lump in her throat. Somehow she already knows exactly who it is right outside her room.

“Estelle?” Rafael calls. “It’s me. I brought you coffee and pancakes.”

I love you. She immediately thinks as she starts to get up. She realizes just what she thought a few seconds later, and she stops for a moment, but goddammit, she does love him, even without food involved. They’ll figure it out, like real adults this time. Hopefully.

Estelle opens the door and greets him with a smile. “Hey. You don’t look too bad for someone hungover.”

He smiles sheepishly, holding out his takeout. “How’s this for starting my apology?”

“Happy to let you know you’re off to a great start. Come on in, Superman.”

I really wanna see the Sdra2 cast play “spin-the-bottle”. Knowing the cast, it will definitely end up in a total disaster^_^

You’re most certainly right, anon! That being said, I hope you enjoy this! And I may or may not have included some of my own personal ships, but for the majority, I used a wheel spin thing to decide! This is another one that I had a lot of fun doing, though I apologize for the wait

A good idea they said, nothing would go wrong, they said. Oh, how wrong they were, it started out good, but the end result was something they would all remember. 

This whole order started with Setsuka setting up a sleepover for everyone. Though no drinks such as alcoholic beverages were involved, things were still fun.  It was when Nikei suggested that they all should play spin the bottle that things started to go down hill from there. The conversation went something along the lines of this, “I have an idea!” Nikei exclaimed, with a bright smile on his face, to which Setsuka responded with a. “Oh yeah? What is it Nik?” The smile on Nikei’s face grew even more. “How about we all play spin the bottle? Turn up things a little?” From his suggestion, there were various mumbles from the other students. Until one voice piped up, “I..It’ll be fun! B..besides, we’ll all grow closer as friends a-afterward!” That voice turned out to be none other than Iroha. “Iroha’s right! Come on, a little game of spin the bottle won’t kill us, will it?” Emma chuckled, with her usual smile on her face. 

After a few more minutes, the rest of the students were on board with playing it. Grabbing a spare bottle, Setsuka placed on the middle of them all. “Who wants to go first?” She hummed, glancing around at everyone seeing how no one volunteered first. “Since no ones volunteering, I’ll pick first.” She grinned before pointing over at Kokoro. “Hey, Koko! You’re starting us off!” Kokoro was at first shocked, but she let out a soft sigh and nodded. “I’m unfamiliar with this game, to be frank. Would you care to explain for me, Setuka?” She asked looking at the blue haired female waiting on an explanation. “Of course! It’s simple, you spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on. You have to kiss them! Then you pick whose next.” She finished, to which Kokoro nodded once again as she leaned forward, placing her hand on the glass bottle and then spun it around leaning back as it continued to spin. 

The bottle spun for what seemed like forever until it landed on…… 

Emma x Kokoro

Emma.

To say the least, the certainly surprised, but nothing could beat the bright smile on her face. “Ah, I didn’t expect that I would be going this early, but that’s alright with me.” She mused, as Kokoro moved over to where she was near Emma a small shade of crimson coating her otherwise paled cheeks. “T..this simply for the sake of the game, don’t think anything more of I..it.” She stated rather quickly only to receive a small giggle from Emma who nodded her head. “I’ll keep that in mind, Kokoro.” She leaned close to the female who slowly did the same until they were invading the others personal bubble. Kokoro did her best to keep calm, as she soon pressed her lips against the actresses. It was a blissful moment until she pulled away and opened her eyes with a faint smile. Emma chuckling softly as she opened her cyan eyes to hear the various whistles from the others.

Hibiki x Setsuka

Setsuka.

“S-setsuka..?!” She stammered out with a nervous blush appearing on her cheeks. “Don’t worry, Biki, it’ll be over before you know it.” The billiards player said softly, as she moved close r to the vocalist and placed a hand onto her shoulder gently. Hibiki took a second to try and compose herself, looking up at Setsuka slightly fearfully, but she calmed herself down. Since she truly trusted her with a small nod, Setsuka leaned down and gently kissed the vocalist. Pulling away soon after with a small laugh as she smiled. “See? I told you it wasn’t so bad.” Setsuka said with a delighted expression as she gently patted her on her head. “Y-yeah.. you were right, Suka..” She mumbled soflty with a smile soon arising onto her lips.

Mikado x Teruya

Teruya.

Now, the merchant was hesitant, but it was just a simple game, right? Though, how was he supposed to even do it? Mikado has the other half of his mask on was it even possible? with Mikado being a magician anything was possible. The magician, on the other hand, was excited. Not only was he enjoying his time with the group, but he was participating in this game as well! “Are you ready, Mr.Otori?” He asked with a curious expression. A game, nothing serious, he told himself as he nodded. “I’m ready.” With that, MIkado leaned up and somehow managed to kiss the merchant, even if it was brief, it still counted. Needless to say, for the rest of the night, Mikado was a happy magician ^o^

Hajime x SyobaiSyobai. Hajime sat up abruptly when he saw it landed on Syobai. His glasses hid the astonishment in his red hues, but it was clear to tell that be was both surprised and shocked. Suprised that he was going to kiss the broker, and shocked that his luck made him land on him. Calming himself down, shook his head and quietly muttered to himself. Syobai, on the other hand, was trying to leave as quickly as possible but was caught by Shinji. “Come on, Hajime!” Nikei yelled in attempts to motivate the boxer. But he got a chair thrown in his direction. But Hajime quickly made his way over and pecked the male on his lips and hurried back over. He was going to deal with the taste of cigarettes, for now until this game was over at least.

Yuri x KanadeKanade. Yuri was just yelling from happiness, he didn’t have to kiss a wretched male! A girl, he was just mentally thanking whoever was above for his luck. “A beautiful girl!” The small male yelled, with a bright twinkle in his starry eyes. Kanade, on the other hand, wasn’t looking forward to it so much.  It wasn’t the fact that it was Yuri it was the fact that so many eyes were now focused on her. “I-it’s going to be quick..okay..?” She said softly, but loudly so that she could be heard by the astronaut. He didn’t care, he was just happy that he had gotten her. “That’s completely fine with me, I’m just happy.” The two leaned close, in order to gently to kiss each other, Yuri was practically on cloud nine after they had pulled away as he smiled from ear to ear. 

Iroha x Nikei Nikei.Iroha fidged with her sleeves with a  nervous expression on her face as she stammered to get her words together. Up until now, the small artist had been drawing the parings of who had gotten who the entire time. To be honest, she hadn’t been expecting to be picked, she figured if she drew that they would skip over her, but that wasn’t the case everyone is included here! “N-Nikei, I-” She started, but the journalist smiled kindly at her as he gently held her hand in his. “Don’t worry! I can do it.” He smiled while she nodded and closed her eyes as he leaned down and gently kissed her. He was a natural at this! Don’t mind the fact that he tasted a lot like sweets. When he pulled away, he gently let go of her hands and winked after she opened her eyes. Iroha was just a flustered little bab.

Sora x YokuroYokuro. Personally, Sora didn’t mind who she had gotten but seeing how she got Yokuro she was content. Meanwhile, Yokuro had turned as bright as a cheery from embarrassment. “H-hurry, Sora! L-let’s just get this over with..!” She exclaimed as he put her hands on her lap, looking away for a moment to hide her flustered expression. Sora nodded as she gently grabbed Yokuro hand and tilted her chin for her to look at her. “alright.” She smiled before leaning forward and gently kissed the hostess before pulling away from her and smiled. Yokuro turned even redder afterward as she hid her face in her fluffy boa. Sora chuckled softly as she moved back to her original spot.

Shinji x Yuki 

Yuki. 

And last but not least, Shinji and Yuki! Yuki smiled nervously as he put a hand on the back of his neck. “I-i guess were the last ones right?” Shinji chuckled and nodded in agreement, though ht turned a bright shade of red. “Guess we are! But you’re still my bro, Yuki!” He yelled with his usual upbeat attitude. As he pulled Yuki close to him, who promptly let out a squeak. “You have to do it like a real man, Yuki!” Wait, how is he supposed to kiss him like a real man? Is it like a regular kiss? Or..meanwhile, while Yuki was lost in his thoughts, Shinji had taken that opportunity and smashed his lips against Yuki’s. Hurting both himself and Yuki in the process, but hey! The kiss still counted!

It turned out to be an interesting game, but the worse part of it all was that they had decided to play again. But this time, the pairs were wackier then they were before.

My 2019 Blog Review

Today's the last day of 2019, so I thought it would be fun to dig through my archive and reflect on my blog activity over the past year. I am doing this on my phone but once I have access to a computer again, I'll put this all under a cut. I just can't do it on my phone.

Jan 2019

- Tumblr's background color changed and apparently I'm the only one who liked the change.

- Kingdom Hearts 3 release -- of course, this was a huge thing in my blog at the time. Afterall, I'd only been waiting 15 years for this game. And while I definitely had problems with the game, it also had some very memorable moments that I loved...like Sora punching Davey Jones (I never ever want to forget that moment).

- I began my adventure of learning Japanese. I'm doing pretty good so far.

- The Mummy (Brendon Fraser) appreciation. Occamshipper apparently doesn't like these movies but I love them. I met some great people because I told occamshipper that whereas they didn't like The Mummy Returns, it is in fact one of my favorite all time movies.

- Lots of rambling about my love for Lucy Heartfilia and the Nalu ship from Fairy Tail.

Feb 2019

- BoA Appreciation. I love K-Pop and BoA is one of my all time favs.

- The Vic Micnogna scandal. Honestly, I don't really care about what's going on with the trial, what bothers me is the stain that was left on Funimation because of it. The voice actors really alienated the fanbase in this scandal and I didn't like that.

- Power Rangers appreciation. I love Power Rangers and unironically, too. My favorite power ranger is Adam from Mighty Morphin.

- Within Temptation's new Resist Album dropped and I loved it. I love these epic stories they tell with their albums and the vibes they give.

- I watched the Mythica franchise and my appreciation affair for Zombie Girl began.

- Ronon/Keller appreciation. I loved this pairing so much and I'm super sad the show never did more with them.

- Legacies Reviews. Apparently people find me funny? I have a sense of humor that people enjoy?

Mar 2019

- Emily Bett Rickards revealed she would not be on Arrow for its final season. I was really depressed a out that and I got a lot of hate from comic book fans for daring to say that I like the character of Felicity Smoak.

- Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles appreciation. One of my favorite anime/manga of all time.

- I was a victim of credit card fraud because of Creation Entertainment and then they tried to deny they were at fault despite hundreds of their customers reporting credit card fraud all at the same time. They eventually retracted their statement but because of this, I will probably never go to a Creation convention again. They're way overpriced and I certainly will not entrust my important info to them again.

Apr 2019

- Shadowhunters final season started airing and they went from irritating to just plain boring. Seriously, the season's biggest crime isn't how misogynist and racist it was, it was that it was completely nonsensical and boring for me.

- The release of Taylor Swift's and Brendon Urie's collab of ME! and I seem to be the only one that seems to legitimately love that song (even the "spelling is fun" part, RIP you beautiful lyric, alas, you were too good and pure to last in this hateful unfunny world of judgemental culture).

- The X Family appreciation. This is one of my favorite Taiwanese dramas and definitely my favorite series in the KO franchise.

- I broke up with the main SPN meta community (otherwise known as the Positive Police). We just didn't see eye-to-eye. I didn't appreciate them lording over the fandom telling people what they should and should not ship, telling people what they should and should not like...and they didn't appreciate me saying so. Lots of blocking went on and I'm still eternally sorry for the people that got blocked by these big fish because they simply liked my posts.

May 2019

- Game of Thrones crappy ending. What is there to really say about it? It was terrible and misogynist AF.

- Ezra appreciation from the Natural Oneders TFS at the Table D&D campaign. Ezra Lockwood was my favorite character and I'm not okay with how he was written out of the campaign.

- I was quite angry about Dean destroying Chuck's guitar like Dean was a 5-year-old child angry that he didn't get his way (seriously, Dean needs to be sent to time-out).

Jun 2019

- Quicksilver and Dadneto meta commentary from FOX 's X-Men franchise. So much lost potential there, unfortunately (thanks, Dark Phoenix).

- Orca appreciation. They're beautiful, majestic creatures and I love them, they might be my spirit animal.

- Someone unfollowed me because I wasn't giving enough attention to real-world problems. Essentially, I wasn't woke enough I guess. But I'm sorry, if I want to feel all righteous and justicey, I'll watch the news. Social justice and politics are not primary focuses of this blog.

- Godzilla King of Monsters was fantastic.

- Chuck TV Series appreciation. I love this show and I miss it dearly.

- Veronica Mars Season 4 discourse. Essentially I hate what happened to Logan and what it means for Veronica's character moving forward.

- Played Love Island The Game and had way more fun than I probably rightfully should've had.

Aug 2019

- Re-watched Sailor Moon and then watched Sailor Moon Crystal. Both shows are so much fun. Plus, I love Sailor Jupiter. I love Jupiter's personality and her power aesthetic is badass to match her personality.

- Taylor Swift's Lover album dropped. I might be in the minority but it actually ranks pretty low on my list of Taylor Swift albums.

- Skillet's Victorious album dropped a d ot was a huge disappointment for me.

- I found watermelon to be my new favorite post-workout snack.

Sep 2019

- I watched The Untamed and I absolutely adore this show. I started watching more chinese dramas because of this show. And whereas I haven't found something I enjoyed quite as much from the chinese drama list, I've still greatly enjoyed a lit of the shows...but they still have nothing on The Untamed. The Untamed is just so good.

- Lover Fest was announced. And it was real shady the dealings that were going on with this. It actually kind of made me wary of actually wanting to see Taylor live.

Oct 2019

- I began the Korean drama, Extra-Ordinary You. I haven't finished it yet, but I plan to. I wanted to wait until the entire series was done airing. It does really interesting things with tropes and I greatly enjoy this show and can't wait to to return to it.

- Sherlolly appreciation. Rediscovered my love for the Sherlock/Molly ship from Sherlock.

-Leverage appreciation. Absolutely fantastic show. Highly recommend it.

-Psych tv series appreciation. Another one of my favorite shows of all time.

- I wrote a Dean Winchester endgame meta. It was fun.

Dec 2019

- Kamen Rider Den-O appreciation. My favorite from the Kamen Rider franchise. I've been re-watching it and it's so much fun. Sato Takeru is amazing in it and the fact that this one of his first acting jobs and he's able to pull off doing so many different characters is seriously amazing.

- SPN finally brought us an angel/vessel dynamic in the form of Adam and Michael and it was amazing.

- The Jumanji re-make appreciation. I love it and The Next Level is just as good as its predecessor and I'm anxiously awaiting the next film in the franchise.

- My thoughts on why I'm single. Mainly because I'm lazy and I just don't feel like doing through all of the work involved in dating.

There you have it. That's 2019 for me. It had its ups and its downs but blog wise, I think I had a pretty good year.
