Blockbuster-Hoffnung floppt

Die nächste schlechte Nachricht für Fans der »Quer«-Serie: Auch der als Blockbuster angekündigte »Aufstand« floppt. Die skandalträchtige Liebesgeschichte um einen als Stalinistin wiederbelebten Untoten, den Zombie Bombie (ihr Auftritt ist unterlegt mit dem bekannten Lied »Bomberpilot« einer von ihr hofierten Skinhead-Band) und den größenwahnsinnigen Kriegsherrn Lord Waldemar Kaputin (einer Mischung aus Lord Voldemort und Rasputin) fällt beim Publikum durch. Zu der als Massenveranstaltung angemeldeten Berliner Freiluft-Premiere kamen nur etwas mehr als 10.000 Zuschauer*innen – die für die Produktion verantwortliche KünstIiche Intelligenz hingegen spricht von 50.000 Besucher*innen bei der Uraufführung. Dass der Bot nicht einmal richtig zählen kann, dürfte zumindest für KI-Kritiker eine gute Neuigkeit sein.

This is what an RAAF F-111 did to a ship known as the Pong Su that was caught smuggling drugs into Australia a several years ago. . The Pong Su incident began on 16 April 2003 when 125 kilograms (276 lb) heroin with an estimated street value of A$160 million was smuggled into Australia from the Pong Su, a North Korean cargo ship.  Australian military special forces subsequently boarded the Pong Su in Australian territorial waters and took the crew and ship into custody. I was asked to redeem Poe Dameron by a friend. Pilots, like surgeons, have to be arrogant and sure to do their jobs. And they have to keep being arrogant and sure even after they're wrong. But eventually the cost has to be felt. And there's no one more unsure than someone who was once very, very certain. I love the Force-Sensitive tree planted in a place where no Sensitives live. I love the idea of an object usually inanimate, possessed of feelings and awareness, watching over her boy. I love Shara and Kes and their love story. Is the guy in the nose having a cigarette?? 🤔 .Assigned to 450th Bombardment Squadron, 322nd Bomb Group of the USAAF, “Fightin’ Cock” was written-off after crash-landing on 12th August 1944. It had received flak damage while over Flers, France and had its electrical system, generators and hydraulic systems shot out. The crew nursed it back to the base in Essex, got the gear cranked down after which the pilot ordered the enlisted men to bail out. While trying to land the plane skidded off the runway and into the control tower, killing Pilot 2nd Lt. John R. Walker, Jr and Co-Pilot 2nd Lt. Bruce Taylor. 😔 . You may notice next to the nose art are 2 ducks painted on. These represented decoy missions flown by the crew. Name: I’m just LoveThemFiercely so far.  

Brand/Tone: fluff, angst, flirting (especially with food), comfort and love...I don’t really know yet!  Pairings include Reylo (though my story is their friendship as kids), FinnReylo, BomberPilot and CommPilot; I am in love with the love stories of Han and Leia as well as Shara Bey and Kes Dameron.  I have landed in the Reylo community, which I love, but I like Poe very much and am extremely fond of Snap Wexley.  I can imagine almost anyone together in Star Wars as long as they’re not related.

1-3 Works with Pitch/Summary:  I am shockingly terrible at summaries.

Statera Trium:  Medieval FinnReylo scriptorium AU with @leofgyth and @flypaper-brain, in which Brother Finn and Rey/Brother Reymund are on a quest to save the soul of troubled lead scribe Brother Ben.  It is becoming an epic!  It also includes a side helping of unrequited past love involving a pair I did not expect.

Shared Poetry and Shattered Certainty:  This one does not involve Reylo.  However, it does involve a tree’s POV, Poe being unsure for once, lots of Snap Wexley, and I’m having fun.  @flypaper-brain challenged me to make her like Poe again, I read some posts about the possibility of Poe/Paige (BomberPilot) and Poe/Kaydel (CommPilot) and it turned into a multi-chapter little story to which I must get back at some point.  

A Solo Effort:  The Force-bond adventures of Teen Ben and Teeny Rey as they form a friendship across stars that at some point neither of them will remember...or will they?  We’ll find out when I get back to writing this one too.
