You know what. After that pinnipaws ask I've realised I want to give MAJOR sugar to boogiebug and sluggums bc they do giveaways aren't locked behind discord. Their litters are usually big and the weekly QOTW let's non-discord users enter giveaways without having to make a discord. This new uma craze of having to let your discord profile be moderated constantly if you want to be allowed the chance at 90% of umas is so stupid, I miss out on so much bc I can't join on my discord so even though it's only 1 qotw a week it's so much more than every other species is doing. With the release of that Miraculous pic with the s4 lady heroes and the attention drawn to Ladybug's butt, and the fact that I just listened to Shadowgraph, I have come to the conclusion that we should make a Boogiepop version of Ladybug, just to give the more inappropriate showrunners a heart attack.

(Now for the name, should it be Boogiebug or Ladypop? I personally prefer Boogiebug.)

Our unpaid intern, Goldfish, and Nurse (@jimjams-art) put together this little doodad for his animated documentation of the boogie bug. He says it makes things easier to animate. Personally, I believe this is just an excuse for him to boogie and jive on the job, but the jury's still out. More information soon, concerned members of science.

Artists I dislike that are loved anon: if for art only, schnuffel bunny. I'm sure they're a decent person but I can't stand their style and it got even worse when they became an official artist cus now I can't just avoid it on oekaki 😭 I also hate cyrevans work their colours are always so so ugly. And I think cyan cat is popular but i don't like their style.

Personality: boogiebug gives me the worst vibes its like theyre posing 24/7. I avoid their communities and friend groups like the plague they give me the "you're the type to backstab someone if its convenient for you" gut feeling. I was so pissed when they became a kalon artist. Twilispark is also super annoying to talk to but ik ppl like her. She got on my nerves in the few servers I shared with her.

783625084821733376 boogiebug has gotten some weird-ass hate on this blog, between the conspiracy theorizing about them being a returning user and the bashing their art for no apparent reason. if I were them or their friends I'd want to piece together some context clues, guess who's sending them in, and block them. you're obviously ok with sending asks that imply exactly who you are, so idk why you're surprised that someone figured you out
