Okay, so first of all, I'd like to personally thank you jellyfish that stung Zara. We could never thank them enough for their service.

Dude, the brotps!!!!! You have no idea how the platonic love made my day. Jace and Emma, Alec and Kit, Jace and Kit, Alec and Jace of course, all of them.

I screamed at the part where Clary offered Jace a massage. Like they make me things.

Izzy, Jace, and Alec group chat is all that matters in the world.

Alec and Julian arguing (affectionately) over who would win the tournament has me happy. Honestly, loved Alec fighting for Jace, platonic stuff hits differently.

AkaFuri Hogwarts Headcanons

My intern braincell: Ugh its 1 am, I’m tired, I have 3 tests that I have to do these upcoming days that I haven’t prepared for yet, I want to die My fulltime braincell who is used to my bs: okay but have we thought about those Akafuri Hogwarts Headcanons recently? My intern braincell: ... shit you right

Here we go, in no particular order: - Akashi Seijuro is taking all of the classes for his OWLS and NEWTS (including divination because he actually has the gift) and because of that he definitely has a time turner and he plans his day out to the tee. He uses the time turner to attend all of his classes, to study for them, to captain the slytherin quiditch team, take some naps, work on ministery work later in his years at hogwarts, and to dote on his boyfriend Furihata. You can't change my mind. Boy is going crazy with all of this stress - Akashi in divination for the first time and he sees his friends get together and kissing in the crystal balls. He sees himself kissing Furihata’s hand and is so shocked/disgusted (((you can't tell me that Akashi Seijuro of Akashi Masaomi didn't have some groomed blood purity CRAP in his head before he grew out of it, and Furihata is definitely muggleborn))) - Akashi actually really enjoying Care for Magical Creatures - Furihata as the keeper - when they are older and are able to participate in triwizard tournament and Akashi doesn't get chosen he would be so pouty that Kagami or Aomine did instead - the first time that Akashi invites Furihata to his house for Christmas or something and Masomi is so mad and angry "this is who you are associating with!? Do you have no pride?!?" And Akashi being well prepared to hex him and leave. Bonus points if its Furihata who acts first and drags Akashi away by his hand saying “what kind of father is he?! who would even do that?” - the first time that Akashi visits Furihata during the summer and is absolutely charmed by his family and muggle life. - also also I need their date in the muggle world dajklfj like, Furihata mentions watching a movie at a theater and Akashi agrees (it’s like our portraits right? Yeah, you can’t actually interact with them though), and he tries to be cute and a good boyfriend and buy their tickets but he just like puts the absolute minimum of dollars on the counter jfdlkajs (okay that will be 25 dollars. *Akashi pulls out a single dollar bill and smiles back to Furi* To the show? *Furihata blinks, maybe Akashi needs more help in Muggle Studies*) - Akashi tutoring Furihata.... going to the library after dinner and pouring over the books and papers for hours, it gets darker and people leave until its just the two of them and the candle light, Akashi glances up and watches Furihata more than he reasonably should - big brain thought, Furihata tutoring Akashi in History of Magic or something but Akashi is completely competent he just wants an excuse to meet with this gryffindor - Takao involving Furihata in his pranks (try to take this brotp from my hands, I dare you) - Furihata and Akashi both becoming prefects but Furi becomes head boy - Akashi wearing Furihata's scarf

In conclusion, I heart them

ok so i apparently had a lot to say about these three, especially johnny and mortimer because they are favorites of mine. i was also inspired by the pictures u put in your answers to the shipping asks, so i decided to pair a few pictures with my answers.

i would’ve answered this as a regular ask, but for some reason, applying a read more to an ask applies it to the ‘question’ part of the post and not the actual body of the post where it should be, and not actually truncating the post at all. i couldn’t fix it no matter what i tried and eventually i gave up. tumblr is a Functional Website.

A ship I have with said character: daniel x marriage counseling. no, really.

ok but in all seriousness, it’s obvious that dan and mary sue really really need to work their shit out and i don’t think they could do it easily, if at all. if nothing else, they’d stay together for their public image I MEAN their kids whom they clearly love sooo muuuch

(meanwhile i’m certain angela and lilith - especially lilith - would rather their parents divorced because the tension in the house is so fucking thick you could cut it with a knife, and that’s not a healthy environment to grow up in)

i don’t really ship him with anybody, to be honest. i know he’s with kaylynn on the side but i don’t personally see her sticking around, especially in the aftermath of a destroyed marriage.

unless he actually gets his shit together, i can’t imagine him being able to fully commit to a relationship, as evidenced by his abysmal relationship with his own wife.

A BROTP I have with said character: hmmm. maybe dan and don would be friends? i mean, they’re both cheaters, and they’d become social pariahs for it, but they’d be in it together, at least. meanwhile, their respective marital exes can get together to actually have a happy relationship.

for all i know, don might’ve actually convinced dan to take the plunge into debauchery in the first place. like he was like “don’t you miss when you were a carefree bachelor, dan?” and dan’s like “yeah man i miss that life” because its obvious he’s going thru a mid life crisis, so don basically encourages him - wittingly or not - to cheat on his wife. and they’re probably unaware that they’re both dating the maid.

oh fuck. now that i think about it this makes perfect sense.

A NOTP I have with said character: i guess daniel and mary sue? like, it’s an obvious answer but i literally almost always expose him as a cheater to her when i play the pleasants lmao their relationship really does not stand a chance.

A random headcanon: daniel usually prefers peace and quiet, so the constant arguing between his daughters - mixed with his poor relationship with his wife and the secret he keeps from her at the start of the game - makes it very hard for him to want to be around his own family.

instead of taking more initiative to take control of his domestic life, daniel instead opts to run from his problems. because he’s a Bastard. he envies his sister for having a healthier marriage than he does, unaware (or unwilling to entertain the thought) that perhaps jennifer and john have their own problems too.

General Opinion over said character: daniel is an absolute wet moldy rag of a man and his soap-opera-esque suffering amuses me.

Mortimer Goth

Sexuality Headcanon: pansexual.

Gender Headcanon: man

A ship I have with said character: i mean, the obvious answer would be mortimer x bella 5evr. they really are, or... were, a lovely couple. back in the sims 1 days, they were the ‘adorably eccentric’ goth family.

his wife had her strange magic, and he had his weird science, and together they were a power couple to end all power couples. but the thing is, i don’t imagine their relationship was built to last. mortimer had far more ‘energy’ than bella did, and although they were a match, it was often difficult for her to keep up with him and his... mortimerisms. obviously bella had her quirks, but mortimer was something else. people often wondered how they managed to work together.

and as for his relationship with dina in the sims 2... well, the way i see it is, after bella’s disappearance, mortimer was utterly distraught. dina came to introduce herself and perhaps comfort him, since she was bella’s former sister in law, and in his weakness, things slowly escalated.

but even in his old age, mortimer is a highly intelligent and intuitive man who, i think, could read just about anyone like a book. if dina was just a run of the mill gold digger, he would’ve dropped her like a rock because he’s smarter than that. therefore, i’m almost certain that their relationship goes deeper than dina being interested in his wealth.

A BROTP I have with said character: this might seem odd, but mortimer and bonehilda in both the sims 1 and the sims 2. listen, i know she doesn’t appear in the sims 2... officially. but that doesn’t stop me from modding her into the game. and i have done exactly that.

the best part about acquiring the skeleton maid was that mortimer finally had somebody to ramble endlessly to about his latest ideas, the things that kept him up at night, but he didn’t want to bother bella while she was trying to sleep.

previously, he’d get an idea and would enthusiastically slams the door open like “BELLA I JUST HAD AN AMAZING IDEA!!!” and bella, laying in bed, would say “it’s the middle of the night and i have a golf tournament in the morning, dear.” and at that, mortimer would back out and slowly and quietly close the door.

so while bonehilda was tidying up the house, he would be essentially pacing around and talking to himself. thinking aloud helped him keep his thoughts in order - he has so many of them - and she would dutifully listen to his every word.

unfortunately he eventually had to retire the maid, she would frequently emerge from her coffin at inopportune times while bella was entertaining guests and they’d run out screaming.

bella also got tired of her drinking her cocktails and leaving puddles everywhere.

A NOTP I have with said character: i’d make jokes about it but i probably wouldn’t ship him with his skeleton maid. other than that i can’t think of any.

A random headcanon: mortimer is the very definition of mad scientist. open the page in the dictionary and you will find his picture.

being a knowledge sim, i feel like mortimer would do anything in the pursuit of knowledge, because he’s perpetually overwhelmed with curiosity and a desire to understand everything about the world, even if that often drives him to doing strange and, perhaps, unethical things in the name of science...

his curiosity led him to his chosen field in the first place. he was a bit of an amateur scientist even before then. as he rose through the ranks in his career and gained more notoriety for his scientific pursuits, he also took quite a lot of heat - some of his more bizarre experiments caused a great deal of scandals in his younger years.

he always managed to get back in the public’s favor, and he eventually got the last laugh against the press because he retired with a huge fortune.

General Opinion over said character: i’ve never been able to put my finger on it, but something about mortimer has always, ALWAYS felt extremely shady to me... and that’s what makes him interesting.

Johnny Smith

Sexuality Headcanon: bi

Gender Headcanon: man

A ship I have with said character: johnny x ophelia is cute, but johnny x ripp is also cute. you know what’s even cuter? all three of them together. they are so wholesome and good.

in my experience with strangetown (both in my current project and in an abandoned uberhood i did a while back), ripp usually has no romantic interest in ophelia and 100% interest in johnny, just on his own. their lack of feelings for each other, however, doesn’t stop them from both being with johnny, if they ever decided to do so. the only thing stopping them is their own personal convictions and... fear. as is the standard for these kinds of relationships, it would take a A Lot Of Work.

i’m sure johnny really loves them both, just in different ways. i see him as being the very physically affectionate friend who gives hugs out like candy and they both love him for it because they’re both touch starved as fuck. (that’s what you get when you have olive specter and buzz grunt as parental figures)

even tho it’s his first, the progression of his relationship with ophelia feels very natural to him. meanwhile, the idea of him and ripp together has never crossed his mind, not because he wouldn’t be interested, but because... um, well, he has a girlfriend, so... imagining himself with people other than his girlfriend would be weeeeird, you know? yeah...

he might also be a little oblivious, so that’s probably why he hasn’t picked up on ripp being weird around him yet. so ripp’s watching johnny be affectionate with ophelia like “god i wish that were me” and then johnny’s like “ripp are you ok” and ripp is like “haha yeah bro i’m great!!! :’)”

he’s always there for ophelia, and if ripp were willing to open up to johnny more often, he’d do the same for him.

A BROTP I have with said character: johnny!!! and!!! ripp!!!

whenever ripp is at johnny’s house, Which Is Often, they usually play SSX 3 together. johnny is better at it than ripp is, but at least ripp can beat him at darts on the dartboard on the back porch. they’re equally matched when it comes to playing pool, however.

they also really like to make dumb jokes at each other, including dumb puns and other such groan-inducing jokes read from vintage joke books and candy wrappers.

A NOTP I have with said character: hm... i can’t think of any because i don’t really ship him with anyone other than his two friends.

i could say johnny and tank but honestly that would be a total lie because i can imagine plenty of reasons to ship them, oddly enough. i don’t, but i can see why some do.

A random headcanon: johnny has basically spent his entire life surrounded by people - family, friends, etc. - to the point where being totally alone actually scares him quite a lot. he’s a popularity sim after all.

and, as unhealthy as it is, he really feels like its’ his responsibility to bring balance to ripp and ophelia’s lives by being the fun cheerful affectionate buddy, who always tries to lend an ear and a shoulder to cry on. he’s a little scared that if he didn’t hold them together at their worst, then they’d fall apart.

it’s a lot of work and he loses sleep from it sometimes because holding other people together is Actually! Very! Stressful! but he dreams of being a hero on a white horse and all, so if he has to, he will be the hero they need. he doesn’t want them to worry about him, he doesn’t want them to feel like they’re burdening him, so he never tells them that.

Viktor Krum

favorite thing about them: So, like, I feel like Viktor holds a really interesting mirror to Harry. They’re both famous and don’t particularly care for it, they both got pushed into fame really young on the basis of having special talent, they’re both the headmaster’s favorite... they even both play Seeker. And I like the roller-coaster ride of their interactions in GoF. Harry respects this guy as a competitor and feels genuinely betrayed when Krum Crucios Cedric and is pretty relieved to find out he was under an Imperius. Just, Harry’s taking Krum at face value just marks him as kind of a sweetie, and Krum’s picking up on that marks him as a pretty stand-up guy, too.

least favorite thing about them: Er... that we in the fandom make such a big deal about the age gap thing? I could write an entire essay about why each of the individual points in that argument are overblown, but I won’t, because I really wish that wasn’t all we could talk about. We could honestly have been spared that if JKR knew any way to show romantic interest other than jealousy and had refrained from putting in that bit of throw-away dialog about Ginny at Bill and Fleur’s wedding, but no. And now we’re stuck with that nonsense, and I’m sick of it.

favorite line: Not a single line, but I really like the bit where he’s saying goodbye to Harry at the end of GoF.

brOTP: Krum and Hermione. Like, I really enjoy the notion that maybe we’re misreading the second task. Harry got Ron; Fleur got her sister. We don’t really know anything about Cho and Cedric’s relationship--what if Cedric got Cho because they were BFFs from childhood rather than because she was his girlfriend? (That also impacts in a nice way the reading of Cho’s behavior in book 5.) What if Krum missing Hermione the most was because he was a lonely boy and she treated him like a person and not an international quidditch star? (Because 1, Hermione didn’t care about quidditch, and 2, she was friends with Harry Potter, she knows how to handle interacting with someone famous.) And, yeah, he might well have interpreted that as romantic attraction at the time, because he was a teenage boy and she was a teenage girl and that’s just Logic, but once you get that confusion out of the way, I think they could have a fun dynamic.

OTP: I dunno... Kron is always really cute. (Like Harry and Cedric, I don’t think Ron really had a crush on Krum, but it’s cute to pretend he did.) I don’t really know a lot of other Krum ships?

(Although I’d kinda like to see Krum/Harry, it could be a lot of fun. Fake dating to troll the tabloids anyone?)

nOTP: The kind of Krum/Hermione that paints him as some sort of miraculous Prince Charming on the basis of the fact that they had zero on-screen arguments in the course of their six interactions? I don’t object to the ship, really, just its tropes.

random headcanon: Okay, so I know I picked this up from a Tumblr post I saw making the rounds a long time ago, but I don’t know how much of this is from the original post and how much of this is my elaboration.

So Viktor and Hermione stayed friends. They visit each other on holiday and bring the family along. Krum marries a nice Bulgarian girl who keeps Ron and Hermione convinced that she speaks not one word of English for almost ten years, because she has a sense of humor.

They have a daughter. (I have definitely stolen the name Tatiana from the Tumblr post years ago.) She’s, like, six feet tall and ice blond and some sort of Germanic warrior goddess, and she’s at the younger end of the Potter-Granger-Weasley kids’ ages.

The summer of 2024, Lily Luna meets her for the first time, bells ring, birds sing, flower petals fall from the sky, and Albus looks at James and says, “Well, looks like producing grandchildren’s going to be all up to you.”

And this is the prelude to the 2024-2025 Triwizard Tournament fic for which I tweaked Lily Luna’s birthday to be in October so she’d be old enough to give her father a nervous breakdown. Featuring Viktor and Harry getting drunk together and complaining about being cursed with offspring who have more courage than sense.

unpopular opinion: Err... if I didn’t make it clear above... that making a big deal about the Hermione age gap is a major fandom error? It’s frankly a waste of a really neat character.

Unexpected, but welcome.

Why I like them: Other than Hagrid, Ron was the first person to ever show Harry any kindness, and while Hagrid was obviously Harry’s friend, Ron was the first friend he had his own age. I just adore Ron when we first meet him, and how kind he is to Harry. Yeah, they have their issues at times, but at the end of the day, Ron would do anything for Harry.

Why I don’t: Ron obviously acted like a teenager because, well, he was a teenager. He is very frustrating at times. His thinking that Harry purposefully got into the Triwizard Tournament was bad, but it never made sense to me. I feel like it was just in there for drama because I don’t understand why Ron thought that. The stuff I don’t like about Ron I think is just bad writing.

Favorite episode (scene if movie): My favorite scene with Ron is probably either the first scene he and Harry have together on the train or the scene in the fifth book when he stands up for Harry when people think he’s lying about Voldemort.

Favorite season/movie: Either the first or the fifth.

Favorite line: “I forgot we’ll be hunting down Voldemort in a mobile library.” Ron was honestly hilarious. You saw that some in the movies, but way more in the books.

Favorite outfit: His Weasley sweater!

OTP: I’ll be real with you, I don’t have one. He and Hermione are fine but I’m not that passionate about them. I feel that way about all the major Harry Potter ships.

Brotp: Harry, of course.

Head Canon: Just that he was a great dad, because I know he would be.

Unpopular opinion: Ron’s a pretty controversial character so I don’t think my opinions, good or bad, are that unpopular. I think most of his problems are just due to poor writing. Again, it made no sense to me that he would think Harry wanted to be in the Triwizard Tournament.

A wish: I wish he had better writing.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity the standard answer is Card Games but besides dool masters they like to go on drives and look at stars and talk abt whatever. bastion is a chemical engineer and jaden’s his professional duelist trophy husband so they dont get to be together as much as they want bc jaden’s tournament schedule so when they’re together they gotta make it count u know so bastion will pick jaden up from the airport and they’ll just start driving out of the city talking about DM or what bastion’s been up to or whatever’s going through jaden’s mind (an enigma lmao) and then when there are no more streetlights to make it difficult to see the stars they’ll pull over and lay on the hood and cuddle and keep talking. it’s like 4am before they finally go home and since they’re going to sleep at the same time jaden finally gets his chance to be the big spoon

who uses all the hot water in the morning getting jaden to shower is a fucking struggle he’s like a cat. living in the slifer dorm made him accustomed to being a generally gross person in general so he lives off dry shampoo and body spray so he doesn’t smell like hassleberry after a workout so that leaves bastion to take all of the water because he showers every morning after his run and insists on h is hair being perfect and well taken care of. like the guy has at least five different hair care products in the shower at all times while jaden, even though he’s dumb thick rich, buys that 3-in-1 crap he and syrus used to make stretch for a month back in college. jaden is also known to stick his kuriboh hair under the sink and shake it out like a dog because he is a gross boy that usually gets up about ten minutes before he has to leave so there’s no time for an actual shower and we’ve gotten away from the actual question but the tldr is bastion stands under the hot water he’s got one of those mirrors to shave in the shower while he’s doing his deep conditioning treatment and has a pore strip on his nose for beautiful ™ skin

what they order from take out this one ties in a lot to my sageshipping BrOTP headcanons (on god there needs to be a brotp ask so i can scream to the world my love for bastion/alexis friendship) but the bit of background is that bastion and alexis would always order from this indian place that was open real late at night when they were in grad school together (no delivery at duel academy cause its an island u know) so it has a special place in his heart. jaden is a wimp when it comes to spice but since bastion loves it they order it anyway and the people that deliver the food know to make it wimpy baby spicy for jaden so he doesn’t end up sweating half his body weight up and crapping out lava four hours later

what is the most trivial thing they fight over oh god they dont fight a lot because they love and appreciate each other’s eccentricities but if they’re going to fight its going to be over who’s doing the driving. they both love cars, bastion likes taking it apart and modifying them and whatnot and jaden likes the aesthetique (though his aesthetique is painting flames on a corolla jaden u lil shit smh) and they both like to go fast so when they go out they bitch abt who gets to drive. bastion tells jaden he doesnt appreciate the feel of the machine and jaden says bastion drives like a fucking old man so they end up settling the matter with rousing game of rock paper scissors

who does most of the cleaning NEITHER OH MY GOD theyre both total slobs. bastion’s desk and home office is covered in his notebooks and duel monster cards, his walls covered with god knows what (formulas, dates, to-do lists, grocery lists) the guy just grabs the sharpie and starts writing because he’s afraid of forgetting something if he doesnt get it down right then. jaden lives in filth he has three day old bowls of cereal at his desk and uses used napkins as tissues he is certifiably NASTY. anyway they hire a housekeeper to make sure the entire house doesnt fall into disarray and she’s like their surrogate mother making sure they eat more than takeout and coffee and making sure the house smells nice. they call her Mama Cheryl (good middle aged mom name) and she’s the embarrassing mom at jadens local tournaments the kind that prints out huge pictures of his face and wears shirts with Neos on them and cheers for her boy v loudly. again we’re away from the question but i have a lot of headcanons abt this i’ll probs put in my dissertation lol

what has a season pass in their DVR hmmm this is an interesting one…i like to think jaden loves crime shows because they’re heroes and he likes watching the good guys ™ win in the end. his favorite show is psych (which u all should watch its hilarious) but since that ended a while ago he’s been in to criminal minds and SVU because he likes watching the really diabolical criminals get caught. bastion never knew his mans was into such dark stuff until he opened the season pass thingy and got quite the heart attack because he thought jaden was all butterflies and flowers and funny stuff but bastion had to learn the duality of man the hard way. bastion doesn’t watch television that much but his guilty pleasure is vikings on the history channel and stuff on the discovery channel because he loves learning what a nerd

who controls the netflix queue jaden is the one that likes to watch netflix the most but i wouldnt say he’s in control per se. they’re usually down for watching what each other likes but in the end jaden will sometimes end up superseding bastion because dammit bas we are not watching a documentary about the dead sea scrolls you dont even believe in god and bastions like fine youre cute we can watch Castle (even though thats not on netflix but i wish it were)

who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working jaden. jaden all the way. bastion brings up a a wikihow article about how to fix the hvac system and he’s like I CAN FIX THIS and jadens like ily babe but you work with chemicals not with this kind of thing ur gonna break it like the time u tried to fix the sink and fuckin clogged the shit out of it we are calling Cheryl and Cheryl’s like jaden im a housekeeper call someone who actually does this for a living. anyway while theyre waiting for the professionals to get there bastion tries to demonstrate he knows what he’s doing he is smort by writing the steps and shit on the wall and jadens like youre so cute but no dont touch the heating system. he has to distract his lil nerd by asking him about what deck he should use for his next tournament or what the probability of drawing three polymerizations on the first turn is and bastion loves talking about math so jaden keeps asking questions until the system is fixed (he doesnt remember much of bastions mathematical explanations but bastion looks so cute with his eyes all bright and shiny talking about statistics)

who leaves their stuff around BOTH they are slobs. jadens a bit worse if we’re being honest because while bastion leaves his papers and cards around schmaden schmuki leaves his underwear and food and cups in the living room and is prone to stripping off his clothes for one reason or another and just laying on the couch watching ESPN with his goddamn pants on the floor and saying they were constricting his knees or some shit when bastion asks why he feels the need to be half naked all the time. bastion had his own room in college so he doesnt quite understand why jadens comfortable just answering the door with a trail of clothing behind him because most people that dont know him assume he’s been getting bizzay but nah he just be Like That

who remembers to buy the milk jaden do because he drinks milk in his coffee. bastion drinks it black so if theres no milk its like eh whatever but jaden is a mess without his caffeine and he hates how bitter and gross it is when theres no milk in it so even if jaden’s not the one going to the grocery store he’ll write it on the wall so bastion will remember it because his mans dont check his texts that often but anything on that wall he fuckin remembers and jaden doesnt understand why he be Like That

who remembers anniversaries both! they are dumb thick in love with each other and they like to plan little things to do for the anniversary of their first date, when they made it official, their wedding, etc. jaden is much more extravagant and will do something like jump on the bed until bastion wakes up and then drag him out for breakfast and get atticus to sing a really off-key renditions of classic love songs and bastion blushes so hard and its so cute it should be criminal lmao. bastion will get jaden a cute little gift like one of those pictures where the artist takes a photo and paints it so they can hang it on their wall. or bastion will fine tune his duel disk or get him a new card for his deck. they are in big gay love and i love them so much

Theon ♥

• favorite thing about them: the thing I love the most about him is his humanity. Between all asoiaf’s characters, he is the one who has the most relatable reactions to all the things happened to him since he was just a child. Another thing is his struggle to be accepted even if he’s very good at hiding it and in hiding all his feelings. He’s simply the most human character.

• least favorite thing about them: his need to prove Balon he is his worthy son. I understand why he did the things he did and I can really understand his reasons but I wished he could have seen the asshole Balon was before.

• favorite line: actually there are two lines I consider my favorite ones. The first is mostly because of the OTP and it’s

“Robb, who had been more a brother to Theon than any son born of Balon Greyjoy’s loins. Murdered at the Red Wedding, butchered by the Freys. I should have been with him. Where was I? I should have died with him.”

And the other is:

“He remembered a time when he had thought that Lord Eddard Stark might marry him to Sansa and claim him for a son, but that had only been a child’s fancy.”

I think both of these are very revealing about the desire of Theon to belong to the Starks because they are the only family he had ever know.

• btOTP: Can the brOTP also be the OTP? Because my brOTP is definitely Throbb even if I am sure that, if things were gone different, I would have considered Jaime x Theon a good brOTP.

• OTP: Throbb, now and always! I ship Theon with lots of characters, actually, but the OTP is definitely Throbb even if, in the books, I ship Theyne (Theon x Jeyne, I have no idea if this is the ship name) so bad and I can consider them as a OTP. (In the show I also ship Theonsa because I know Sansa is the only person who really knows what he went through and she can be the person which will tell him he deserves nothing of what happened to him and that if Robb would be still alive he would have forgiven him long time ago. I really, really hope the both of them could be happy together even if I’m sure they won’t because I don’t think they will meet again)

• nOTP: Thra/msay, I suppose. Sometimes I read fanfcits in which they are not endgame (and in which Robb saves Theon from Ramsay which I suppose is the reason why I read them) so I do not loathe that so much (I mean, I have another nOTP which I can’t even read about so…) but I can’t see ship material in them.

• random headcanon: premise: I am shitty in headcanons but I’ll try. When he had been sent to Winterfell, he promised himself he would have hated the place. Something in him was sure that if he didn’t like it his father would have realized he was a real Greyjoy and so he tried to find all the things he hated about the North. He succeeded, for like the first days, he acted awfully and pushed away everyone who tried to bond with him hoping someone will eventually stop to following him everywhere. Of course that someone didn’t and Theon had to admit that, maybe, Winterfell was not so bad, even if it was too cold, and some Starks were not so terrible… Just some of them.

• unpopular opinion: I don’t even know if it’s unpopular but the only thing would have changed if he didn’t betray Robb would have been that he would have died at his side. (Probably not at the RD because Robb wouldn’t have married Jeyne but the Lannisters would have think about something else)

• song i associate them with: Castle on the Hill (Ed Sheeran) and Remember Everything (Five Finger Death Punch)

• favorite picture of them: Every picture in which he is happy and safe. I love moder!au Throbb’s picture too.

Ned

• favorite thing about them: I am not a huge fan of Ned, actually, but the thing I love the most about him is his relationship with his children. I think he is the best paternal figure in the series and it’s very important in my opinion in Ned’s psyche because, even if he made some mistakes, he always tried to protect them.

• least favorite thing about them: his honour. I mean, not in general but the things he did in its name because he didn’t consider the consequences.

• favorite line: I know it’s not the most iconic of Ned’s quotes, but my favorite one is

“If it came to that, the life of some child I did not know, against Robb and Sansa and Arya and Bran and Rickon, what would I do?”

I love the “the lone wolf dies but the pack survives” one too but somehow I think this quote shows the man behind the Hand of the King, if you know what I mean.

• btOTP: Ned x Robert, I suppose. I’d like the relationship between Ned and Benjen would have investigated more but things being what they are, Ned x Robert.

• OTP: Ned and Ashara Dayne.

• nOTP: I have no idea, probably Ned x Jaime.

• random headcanon: He went to Starfall to give to Ashara Dawn after having killed Arthur because he was sure she wouldn’t survive knowing he killed her beloved brother. In some way, he “swung the sword” after having sentence her to death even if he tried to stop her from committing suicide. After what they shared during the tournament at Harrenhal, it was the least he can do for her: being the person who told her about her brother’s fate. I don’t even know why I’m writing this, is probably OOC as fuck but still.

• unpopular opinion: he shouldn’t tell Cersei he knew about her and Jaime and he should have accepted Renly’s offer when he had the opportunity.

• song i associate them with: The Shade of Poison Tree (Dashboard Confessional)

• favorite picture of them: Picture of him with his children when they were babies.
