Amidst the chaos….I have finally managed to complete my first ever audio book!

I can’t say I’m a fan of audio books, they talk too slow and I get annoyed fast😂 but they’ve been great to get me through chores!

As for the book, this is my first time visiting the Middle East in my reading travels and it was like a breath of fresh air to experience a new culture!

I know many of you have read this, I’d love to chat about it 💙 The Midnight Library is a beautiful, gut-wrenching read. As each chapter moves forward, it almost feels like a knot being untied… Nora’s insecurities, regrets, and mental health struggles felt eerily similar to my own experiences. She is relatable and stubborn. Matt Haig truly told a fantastic story that added a little perspective to my life. I’m looking forward to reading more from Haig... His writing, his emotions are devastatingly beautiful. TW: suicide, depression, anxiety The first few chapters were very difficult for me to get through. ✨ My first ever fiction audiobook ✨

Juniors by Kaui Hart Hemmings is a classic high school drama story which I loved because mentally I’ve never aged past 17 even though I’ll be 26 in a few days 🫠

I get ferocious secondhand emotions and I got it BAD in this book so I did love that but overall really nothing unpredictable.

I do love that it focuses a bit more on friendships than romance and I LOVE that it takes place in Hawaii, very very VSCO dream worthy and I love that ☀️ every high schoolers (and adults) dream honestly

What’s your fav romance book or author?

I have all Sarah Dessen & Nicholas Sparks books and LOVED them as a teenager. Now I’m not super into classic romance but I still enjoy rereading the good ones 😊

Am I late to this train? LOL sorry I’ve been MIA for like a month, honestly I have barely read in a while and that’s tough for me.

Recently saw that this draught was a common little bug going around the bookish community so I feel a bit better about it now.

Today I’m binge reading and catching up on life before traveling…oh and waiting for another preorder this week (IYKYK😈)

✨Fantasy✨Frocks & Fiction Friday!! What series are you hoping to read this year? I swear I haven’t disappeared off the planet I’ve been busy….profusely imagining myself in another fantasy world to an almost concerning point 😛 I really thought these books would be a let down…I’m an SJM fan through and through. Turns out though, she just popped my fantasy cherry bc Jenn over here is KILLING ME. Anywaysss, I did it again. Read a series that wasn’t fully published so I’ll be patiently sitting on my hands until the new Crescent City & Blood and Ash books are out now 😭😭
