A little project to explore anime style rendering. @onemegawatt 's designs from Twitter are awesome and I wanted to model one of them for a long time ! I can't wait to test out these tehniques on something more complex and push the effects further !

For an "animal-plant-hybrids" event I took part in back in 2020. The cactus snake gave me so much trouble, but I love how it turned out. Also at that point I did not know that crab apples are a thing. I just thought the shape was similar and it would be kind of fun to combine, no pun intened.

А когда есть план, ограниченное отведённое время, группа таких же заинтересованных людей — тогда грех не читать.

Тогда всё чётенько. Берёшь и читаешь. И есть с кем обсудить непонятное. И понятное тоже.

I downloaded the program Medibang on my ipad and I might have..just might..have found an OpenCanvas replacement. If yall remember way back in the day, everything I did was in OpenCanvas (and tbh, Ive never looked but I wonder if they have an app). The watercolor brush is SO similar. A few annoying things with the program: 1. It has ads when you try to save you art 2. sometimes it does not ignore your palm which makes for annoying accidents 3. might not be a downside but to free screen space the tool windows have to be clicked on to appear and then clicked again to disappear, this can be incredibly annoying, especially if you clicked multiple tools. otherwise, I've been using procreate now for so long, its just uncomfortable trying to get used to a new program layout. I downloaded this program because I learned it has a social media community with it that I have not played with but I am intrigued. and I'm not sure how all this happened. Not that long ago, it seemed procreate was the only thing in existence app wise and now there are a ton of new programs and space willing I think Im going to download all the free ones and try them.
