Alright, here's my idea for a music related Artfight!

Welcome one and all to:

Battle of the Genres

Rules

Pick a genre to represent

Pick an already existing song of that genre

Remix or recompose it into a different genre or subgenre

Post the piece with #GenreDefense or #BotGDef

Then someone may attack your post! An Attacker must pick a song from their genre and remix/recompose it into the same style/genre as yours was! You can reblog the post your attacking or link it in a new one. Tag it with #GenreAttack or #BotGAtk

Repeat 2 and onward as many time as you see fit!

obviously the rules arent set in stone or strict. attack attacks, attack random covers if its in good fun. tags arent strict, regulation of fun stuff is silly anyway. The main goal is to get out of our comfort zones, listen to our peers, and get motivated to make some funky music!

Now, to all musicians currently reading this now I invite ANY AND ALL OF YOU to attack my frankenstienian amalgamation!!

This movie's like twelve years old now but it will never not be one of my all-time favorite gags that this self-described ruthless thug of an ex-villain could easily fling Bulma over the roof of the building in the background

but even deeply stressed, embarrassed, and under desperate conditions he cannot disclose, this hyper powered alien will absolutely not use more strength against his wife than she can defend against

I also love that even this much force is a surprise to her. Schwoop. And then she resists. And he just. Lets her.

Without alerting anyone.#Because they're a bunch of drunk fighters and friends of Goku and they'll ALL want to fight a guy who just beat the shit out of Goku #10/10 Premise I'll NEVER forgive Toei for fumbling so bad on how funny this movie is by deciding Vegeta's a trigger-happy showboat #The whole bit of this movie is Vegeta bending over backwards to prevent a fight while everyone looks at him like he's Insane #because he can't tell anybody anything. Because they'll start a fight. So he's gotta face the threat alone. But not how you'd expect.

the most petty i can be is hoping they fully remake DBS based on the manga and featuring Toya/Toriyama's WifeGuy DadCore Vegeta dude I know the r/fans will rage quit

I remember seeing someone on reddit saying toya's dragon ball was 'bad fanfiction' and 'what was toriyama thinking hiring this guy' like there aren't interviews in every volume of toya and tori talking about Toriyama mentoring Toyatarou and editing and revising and approving and loudly gleefully loving his work

but it's not even petty because the manga's amazing and I would genuinely love to see the daima team reboot the anime about it
