Source: technically I'm from a tetralogy; so Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, Tears of the Kingdom, and now Age of Imprisonment

Character I am: Linkle (transfem Link)

Canon compliant or divergent: Divergent! The story is the same but there's lots of small differences like I was transfem and kept Rauru's arm. Zelda became an anthropomorphic dragon. I found Epona in the wild. There was a unicorn that existed in Hyrule. The sages didn't have an avatar that I could summon/dismiss but instead had a small bit of their powers.

Relationship type I'm looking for: /p for everyone and a possible /r for Zelda. Just note that I'm ambiamorous and in an open relationship

Hello. The name's Linkle or you can call me by my name in this life: Ashley.

I'm a spiritual fictionkin from a somewhat different AU of Age of Calamity, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom. All important information is found in this post here. And I also did some more things in this message to canonmates

I have no energy to start ranting about my OC's here, so I'm just chucking random drawings that I did recently so this is Linkle from botw Linkle mod in one of the custom outfits that are remade in the mod, I was watching a stream and saw the outfit and was like "omg so cute" so I spent like 15 min making this sketch :3

Something fun I did during my time away was... I finally played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild!

Before I had only ever watched my brother play the game when it originally launched in 2017, but never had much of an interest to play it myself. After all the hype of Tears of the Kingdom upon its release back in May of 2023, I finally decided to give BotW a shot and I am so glad I did.

It definitely plays a lot different from classic 3D Zelda games, but it's a lot of fun. Main story felt weak having everything merely be flashbacks, but getting lost in the immersion while exploring the world was the highlight for me.

Cemu Emulator + Mods!

I played the Wii U version on PC via the Cemu emulator and installed a couple of mods throughout my playthrough. Mainly the Linkle mod and tried a few different music overhauls. Man, I wish Nintendo would just release PC ports. Modding games is so much fun haha. Makes the whole experience customizable and enjoyable.

Big fan of the Linkle mod. I know she's not an official Zelda character, more of a Koei Tecmo OC, but the mod is very cute. I appreciate how it affects NPCs and has them react to you being a girl, even goes as far as making her Link's sister for the story.

Co-op Mod

This game would've been an 11/10 if Nintendo officially made it 2-player co-op, so I could've played it with my brother with him as Link and me as Linkle. But it seems fan's have already got the co-op aspect down already haha. Very buggy, but playing with my bro as two Links was a blast!

Tears of the Kingdom

I did try Tears of the Kingdom too, but didn't get very far myself. I did see the entire game through my brother's playthrough and played his save a couple of times. Wasn't terribly impressed from my time with the game. Had some cool elements, but I think I prefer BotW more over TotK. Will have to give it another try sometime... maybe once the Linkle mod is out hahaha.

Playing heavily modded BotW as something to keep myself sane. I actually don't think it's a great game on its own and certainly not a good Zelda game, but the mods improve it a lot. Also Linkle is very cute.

Me at the worst fucking tower in the entire game. Going to post more screenshots as my adventure continues and I get more cute outfits :3

so i've been playing A TON of other games on my PC and managed to emulate TOTK and BOTW on my computer! i have BOTW modded to play with linkle and my TOTK playthrough is pretty much normal gameplay since there aren't many mods for it

i've also been trying to play minecraft as well! im still modding it and such and i think im gonna focus on trying to build but ive been crazily focused on other games besides the sims, im ngl 😭😭 don't be surprised if you start seeing stardew valley too bc im gonna start modding it again as well!

Is it really too much to ask for a botw mod that let's you play as Wolf Link? All these years and I still have yet to see one. Instead it's all Linkle shit. I do not care about Linkle, she is a false prophet, let me be a doggo.

the linkle mod has given me so much incentive to explore in botw because the mod page doesnt show every outfit and some armor sets are radically different from the base game (i.e. the flamebreaker set is now a formal-looking outfit with a red overcoat) so i'm like. hunting for armor just to see what they look like

She's a popular non-canonical character of the franchise, and she actually has at least 3 different mods (One for WW, one for BotW, and another for TotK).

I have unfortunately cracked and decided to download an emulator just to play Wind Waker (With the Linkle mod to boot).
