Níl Sé'n Lá | Gloxinia x OC
Victory always brought revelry when the Seven Deadly Sins were involved, and tonight was no different. Laughter and song echoed through the clearing outside the Boar Hat, the firelight casting flickering gold across raised mugs, clinking plates, and the odd flying projectile from Ban and Meliodas' competitive drinking game.
At the heart of the chaos, glowing like moonlight on dewdrops, was Titania.
She twirled through the air, a shining glint in the sky, her laughter ringing clear as she sang a lilting tune older than the trees. The chorus was fae in origin, delicate, mischievous, and she swept down to teach Diane the steps while twirling around Drole under a cascade of glowing petals.
"Up, up again!" she cried, taking a swig of ale before spinning into a loop in the air. "And if you fall, you must sing louder!"
Even King couldn't help the quirk of a smile from the sidelines as he watched her pull Ban into a makeshift waltz that involved more shoving than grace. The Sins welcomed her into the fray without hesitation, because she wasn't a queen here, or a prisoner of her own magic, or a legend of ruin.
She was just Titania.
And a few paces back from the fire, standing half in the shadows beneath a blooming hawthorn tree, Gloxinia watched.
His arms hung at his sides, forgotten, his fingers barely curled. His eyes didn't blink. Didn't dare blink.
She was laughing.
Full, open laughter, the kind that made her nose crinkle and her shoulders shake and her wings shimmer with unbridled joy. The kind he hadn't seen in three thousand years.
The last time she looked like this was on the night of their wedding. She had danced long after the music ended, her voice louder than the stars, her cheeks flushed with joy and drink and love. He remembered every detail, how he couldn't stop staring at her, how he had silently begged the gods to freeze time just to keep that moment.
He had grieved that smile. Thought it was gone forever, buried beneath rot and regret and centuries of isolation.
But here it was again.
And it hit him like a sword through the ribs.
Tears welled in his eyes before he could stop them. Hot, silent, unstoppable. He didn't cry often; he had learned long ago to keep his pain locked tight beneath duty and regret, but this wasn't pain.
This was relief.
Relief so fierce it felt like it might break him.
He would've loved her the same, broken or bitter or burdened forever. But seeing her like this... seeing her free... seeing her happy without flinching like she might lose it all again...
It was everything.
Titania caught sight of him, half-hiding in the dark, and beamed as she flew toward him.
"You're not hiding from the fun, are you?" she teased, her cheeks pink with drink and sunset glow.
He smiled, eyes still glassy. "No," he whispered, voice thick. "I'm watching it happen."
She tilted her head, hovering inches from him, curious. "Watching what?"
"You," he said simply. "Smiling. Laughing. Living."
Her grin faltered, just for a moment, as she understood what he meant. She reached forward and touched his cheek, her fingers feather-light. They didn't decay anymore. Not with him.
"I think I'm finally not afraid to," she murmured.
His wings rose slowly, wrapping around her like a curtain of rainbow silk. He kissed her forehead and rested his brow to hers.
"Then smile as long as you want, my queen. I'll be right here to see every second of it."
She let out a breathy laugh and pressed a kiss to his lips, soft and fleeting, before tugging his hand. "Come dance with me, then."
He chuckled. "You'll have to carry me. I'm crying too hard to walk."
She only grinned wider. "Then you'll just have to fly."
And so they rose together, two wings in the warm orange sky, the Queen reborn, and the King who never stopped waiting.
And below them, the party carried on, warm and loud and alive, exactly as the world should be.

I made a brother of my 7DS OC, because I have no self-control
Kian, Yasamin's older brother and guardian!
Kian is a friendly man with a generous personality. As a young boy living out on the streets, he was viewed as an older brother figure by plenty of the orphans whom he would take under his wing. He kept himself and all the children he could find away from a life of crime by being a freelance artist.
This was how he met Yasamin, a child who was abandoned by her parents due to a supposed curse that she was suffering from. Kian was unperturbed by her curse and its symptoms and easily adopted her as another one of his siblings to protect and shelter her.
Seeing the potential in his drawing ability, he began copying and selling sea charts to the sailors that passed through and made a career for himself as a cartographer. He was able to buy a home for himself and his siblings from the savings, and their house acted almost as an unofficial orphanage as he continued to help anyone he could and welcomed them into his home.
Years later, well into his adulthood, Yasamin went missing, sending Kian into a panic trying to find her. Weeks turned into months of fruitless searching until one evening guards visited Kian at his home to inform him that his sister wasn't in danger but had stolen a ship and become a pirate - with a hefty bounty on her head.
Kian was furious by the news and began to track his sister across the world, gaining on her by inches until he finally tracked her down at the Boar's Hat. He had encountered Meliodas, not knowing who he was, and asked for the location of the bar.
Later in the day, Meliodas asks Yasamin if she has an older brother, which she confirms, though she is confused how he knows. He happily tells her that he bumped into him earlier, which makes her panic on the spot and try to run away, but is thwarted when the door is kicked down and her brother finally comes face-to-face with his troublesome sister.
