I meet a whole range of inspirational people through my work. And last weekend with @iamisaacharvey in the Lake District was one of those moments. Talking wellbeing, inclusion and technology, it was the perfect way to disconnect so I could reconnect more strongly this week. So, as ever, the peculiarities of Instagram formatting necessitate Fragile With Care ending in a set of landscape format pages to be followed a set of portrait format ones. They are consequently slightly out of order - this set shows a drawing from Jane’s 30th birthday in Bowness when Jauj sorted an amazing surprise party out and we all went and stayed at a wonderful converted farm house called Helm Farm. We had an equally amazing one for her 40th but missed her 50th because Covid ruined the world. This was a drawing of us all sitting in the main room and chatting; following that is a Billy Bragg line, some potentially catastrophic hostile designs for the wrong things and an idea for mummifying old Nokia mobile phones, (complete with canopic jars) when they gave up the ghost with their shitty in-built obsolescence. I always cursed that they still had messages from loved ones saved to their internal memory, but no longer accessible. There was no iCloud cyber heaven back in the day so the most logical answer was to mummify them to honour the messages trapped within.
