I was scrolling really fast and I saw the phrase "At least they'll be bouncy spiders now" and so I scrolled back up to find out what could possibly be the context of such a statement and you know what? I was not disappointed. Please continue having fun
I am here to shrivel your soul and tell you that "grogu djarin" exists and I discovered it one step outside my fandom bubble. It's wild out there, I'm going back inside.
I KNEW IT. I knew it’d happen eventually. Thanks, I hate it.
Like come on it’s not at all like MONONYMS ARE KINDA THE YODAS’ THING (still think they should have given him a Y- name to fit the pattern too like idk, Yogru? but heh) and getting his name back was VERY MUCH the reforging of his lost ties to his Jedi culture and also his dynamic with Din was written as a foster parent kind of thing before they threw the whole S2 arc out of the window in one and a half episode of a supposedly unrelated show. Jedi don’t feel the need to change their kids’ names or to tack on a new surname after adopting them but Mandalorians are special like that and the fandom just detests mononyms for some weird reason.
Brachiosaurus bull and subadults checking each other out. drew this a few months ago in response to this SV-POW article and some ideas being explored in the comments: svpow.com/2023/08/04/did-dinosaurs-become-more-or-less-colourful-through-their-lives/
