You were the champion of a later Pokémon gen game, always waiting for a worthy challenger to battle you.

Unlike the other Pokepasta champs, your game wasn't haunted/corrupted so life was relatively normal for you.

Usually you went into town in disguise to keep your Pokémon healthy, fed, and happy--making sure their spirits were up.

However, one night when you're about to put your starter in its pokeball to sleep...both of you are suddenly transported to a pitch black void.

You were in a panic, understandably, wondering where everything went and why it was so dark.

Then your starter notices a lonely Unown

But...

Something looked different about this one.

Before you can try to catch it, the psychic Pokémon flies past you without warning, and you turn around-

Just in time to see a young trainer with missing limbs, hollow eyes, and a pale face--somehow floating in this mysterious void with you.

"My Arceus....a-are you okay?" Obviously that didn't seem like the right question to ask, given that this kid was very much not okay.

He didn't answer you, though. He just stared at you with a sad look.

You knew that all the healing potions in the world won't help him with his...injuries. But you wanted to try at least something, so you dug up some potions from your bag.

Yet your starter tapped your shoulder, making you turn your attention to the air, where several more Unowns appeared to spell something.

"They won't help."

It took you a second to realize they're speaking for him. Thank goodness you studied their language growing up.

"..oh, sorry. I figured I could at least try." You frowned a bit, though he seemed to appreciate the gesture as the Unown group spelled out "thank you".

Despite his frightening looks, he had no ill intent. He was just sad and lonely.

So you two chatted for a bit, with him saying his name was Gold. He introduced you to his own Pokemon team comprised of a Cyndaquil and half-dead Celebi.

You actually got along with him just fine! And he could speak for himself, albeit very little.

He was a champion like you, though he was unwilling to say what happened to him.

Oh well, best not to pry unless he trusted you enough.

All in all you made good conversation with him. And he finds your willingness to help him endearing.

At some point he leaves the void and takes you to meet Hypno, Gray, Steven, and Glitchy Red.

Though Gold is surprised when you still wanna hang out with him the most. But it makes him happier than he has been in years.

Most trainers who see him just scream and run.

nikolai is a king, obviously .. like he could fr make you do whatever he wanted to. if you didn’t comply? well..

“darling..” nikolai frowned. “you’re not helping your situation. you need to be punished.”

he’d tie your hands behind your back, but not tight enough to leave any bruises. after all, he didn’t want to hurt you.

to make you feel even a little bit better, he’d whisper sweet little nothings in your ear each day.

of course, this was also a way to make sure you’d stay with him.

due to the fact ravka has lots of war, he’d always be thinking about a way to keep you safe.

in the case if anything severe happening, he will always put you before himself.

all of the advances you show him are teasing. he doesn’t know that though, so he thinks you like him.

he makes it obvious that he likes you too. when you tell him you were joking, he doesn’t believe you.

instead, he thinks you simply had buried your feelings. and you know what?

nikolai would make sure those feelings would return, one way or another. no matter how long it took.

it gets to the point where nikolai can’t help himself, he needs you to be beside him if not in physical contact.

Not only he's a popular composer, but he's also a popular VOCALOID producer.

He goes by "LeoP" cuz he's basic like that. (It's ok we still love him either way).

He basically uses all the voice synthesizer programs but he mainly uses VOCALOID, Synth-V, sometimes UTAU, and later on Piapro Studio.

He also mainly uses Hatsune Miku but he pretty much owns all voicebanks known to man (including appends) so he picks the voicebank that matches his song the best.

He's a massive Miku fan you can't convince me otherwise.

Back to the topic of voicebanks, he tried to convince Knights to make UTAUloids of themselves but they sadly shut that idea down before he could even attempt to do so. (He's still trying though.)

Like I said before, I can see him as the type to use voicebanks based on their voices/how they sound, so you can bet that he also uses UTAUloids even if they aren't "popular".

Imagine the heart-attack you'd get when THE Leo Tsukinaga uses your voicebank for one of his songs, I'm 100% sure he's the root cause of many souls ascending /pos.

In my opinion, I think he'd hate the piano roll system that the synthesizers use so most likely he'd transcribe his composition in a website that automatically makes a MIDI file out of it. (idk if that actually exists but it does for the enstars universe cuz I said so /lh.)

I can see him absolutely DESPISING tuning. He loves to compose and loves to hear the final song but he hates the actual tuning process.

He either hyperfixates and get the tuning done in one sitting, commission someone to tune for him OR he just doesn't bother and that song goes into his folder, never seeing the light of day ever again.

He sometimes uses VOCALOID for harmony guides for Knights songs.

He definitely duetted with Miku before, there's absolutely no way he didn't.

Tried to convince Knights to sing a song with Miku and the other Vocas. (Knights shutting down Leo's antics pt. 2; Electric boogaloo.)

the otterverse is a roleplay series that my mutuals and anons are doing in my inbox. it all started in the STUPIDEST WAY POSSIBLE.

you see, this all started with reddits. if ya want info about that, this post is the history of the cloobies war. but tl;dr is reddits are a name for reddoons tits. yeah thats fucking right this all started with MINECRAFT YOUTUBER BOOBS.

it was actually pretty much a bit from the beginning, even if it wasn't ROLEPLAY. so from the very start we were Characters, not necessarily ourselves. it begins with divorce anon, named because of the argument they started between c!paci and c!felix.

what you need to know about divorce anon: they began as an anon asking about cloobies. read the history post linked above if ya wanna know about THAT. and then, this ask.

[deep breath] oh, past Pacific, how naive you were.

from this moment, divorce anon and c!paci began their love arc, waxing poetics to one another while c!felix was nowhere to be seen.

Additionally, please note :D anon was 'divorce anon's therapist /bit.' if you see them mentioned, that's who they are.

c!felix is, understandably, not pleased. I honestly do not know where or when or how to find the posts, but I'm sure at some point xe yelled /lh at c!paci for cheating on xem. again.

It should be noted that this whole time, the Lifesteal Brainrotting Discord was plotting and trying to figure out who divorce anon was. divorce anon spoke through my asks, until at some point they created an alt Discord account in order to actually join the Discord.

c!paci begins to go insane.

or, really, star was always insane. but now her more deranged side really begins to show. star murders someone, and asks if divorce anon is proud of them.

it's at this point that divorce anon warns c!paci, don't try to help them. c!paci doesn't listen.

and now the real chaos begins, because now more anons appear. wisp is accused of being divorce anon. lawyer anon and divorce anon's lawyer (@lawyer-lore) show up to defend moth.

so then everything gets really crazy for a while. lawyer anon and divorce anon's lawyer are in love now. wisp is NOT divorce anon. c!paci is increasingly annoyed and finally snaps.

divorce anon and c!paci begin quoting hamilton. the inbox quiets. all are watching them.

the infamous (at least to the mutuals) ask is sent.

Several asks later, c!paci shoots the ceiling of the theater (oh yeah, did i mention this is all happening in a theater? I believe it was meant to refer to the fact that some of this happened on lifesteal-headcanons, on that "stage"/before the audience of Lifestealblr).

c!paci and divorce anon are killed. a tragedy, a love that was never meant to be. c!felix lives (xe's a phoenix) but is bitter that c!paci left her for divorce anon. and so it ends.

wallace reveals itself as divorce anon. there's a day of quiet.

cc!felix and cc!paci write poems/stories about the newly named otterverse. u can find those HERE (paci) and HERE (felix).

and then act two begins.

Right, so you know how act one was hamilton, secret identity, cloobies, tragedy, etc? Well act two is cosmic horror, TMA, and wendys.

so while act one was pretty straightforward, I’d say act two is where it gets a bit confusing.

now, to be clear. c!paci is DEAD. this is c!otter, a new character.

so why don’t we just start with the arg? run by [REDACTED], it begins with a sequence of asks in binary code and continues with several cryptic messages. i haven’t spent much time figuring it out yet! but if anyone’s interested, read the saga HERE

next up, the cosmic horrors. blood (🩸) anon who is some sort of otherworldly being or something, lung (🫁) anon who wants to be god but is failing horribly /affectionate, pedant anon (aka the one who sent the copypasta) and several others, including crescent (🌒) anon, raccoon (🦝) anon, rose (🥀) anon, and my little guy worm (🪱) anon who sent exactly one ask and is now my (cc!paci’s) favorite lil dude ever.

this whole arc can be summarized as office worker who is not paid enough to deal with this shit meets cosmic horror entities and absolutely does not fear them. okay maybe slightly. also c!otter has adhd, fries dipped in milkshakes are good, and c!otter is taking the cosmic horrors to wendy’s.

if you see anons involved who aren’t mentioned, they’re returning anons. off the top of my head: harbinger anon, fairy (🧚✨) anon, joobies anon, paper anon, and suffering anon have all popped in to comment today.

heavily brainrotting a very very specific ship dynamic because it's stuck in my mind and GOD I LOVE IT

i am currently living for fantasy ships with the main character who's new to magic but extremely naturally powerful and their partner who's extremely calm and smooth right up until someone hurts the main character. and then all hell breaks loose

or alternatively:

- highly trained human assassin without magic

- extremely powerful several-hundred-year-old non-human magic person who is also a highly trained assassin

- non-human meets human. they fall in love

- human finds out non-human is magic. they fall even more in love

- they fight side by side. but someone hurts / kills the human. and the non-human goes fucking ballistic. but in a calm angry way yknow

- this non-human has lived for hundreds, if not thousands of years. they have learnt time and time again that all immortality means is watching the people you live die again and again and again. but they just couldn't help but fall in love. and now they pay the price.

i honestly have no idea what characters this could apply to it could literally be any fandom ever but. i got carried away writing a template map kind of thing so have some overly angsty writing. using pronouns that imply mlm because i'm extremely, extremely gay but feel free to sapphic-ify it. or straight-ify it tbh but idk why you would do that /lh

Non-Human looks more vulnerable than ever, pain overflowing in his eyes as he watches Human begin to lose consciousness. Human's eyes, half closed, meet Non-Human's. His mouth moves, and he whispers in a voice low enough that only Non-Human can make out:

'Remember ... remember what you promised me.'

Non-Human and Human sit on the peak of the hill, leaning against each other. They make a promise here, before they leave for their mission. Human turns to Non-Human and speaks, calmly and surely: 'If it's between me and the mission, you must choose the mission. My life isn't worth it in exchange for the thousands we're saving.'

Non-Human puts his hand on the side of Human's face. 'You can't ask me to do that-'

'It's my right. It's what I want ... promise me.'

'I-'

'Promise me. Please.'

'... I promise.'

Non-Human sees the pain they feel reflected back at them in Human's eyes. He remembers the promise. He remembers the soft-spoken words.

He looks at Human, and he hopes that this one look can say all the words that he wishes he had the time to get across properly. Human smiles at him.

Non-Human shifts his gaze to Evil Person, his voice piercing the heavy silence: 'No.'

He can't find the will to cry out as Evil Person's knife slides cleanly across Human's throat. Human instantly goes limp in his grip.

Non-Human does not scream. He does not cry. He does not feel sadness, or grief. He does not even feel angry. He feels nothing. Human was everything, and now Human is gone.

Evil Person's eyes widen as they are suddenly able to hear the quiet thrum of the magic in Non-Human's mind, accompanied by words spoken in a cold voice, the voice of a killer, of an assassin, of someone who has lost everything and blames the world.

'You will pay ...

When Non-Human's eyes rise from Human's body, they glow with a fierce golden light.

end of the year sap post

so another year has come and gone, and it has been....quite a lot, to say the least. and im not going to get into a god-awful amount of detail, but lets just say that it was very stressful when it was stressful, and sometimes enjoying really fun things was hard to do. i wrote a lot this year, now that i think about it. i started writing for different fandoms, i picked up several hyperfixations (and some havent dropped off yet) i created two wonderful brand new characters, who i love very much. and im really proud of myself for it. 

 im usually really bad at keeping up with stuff, and being consistent, but i really think that i did really well this year in writing, and creating new things and such. i go through hobbies like candy, but writing has stuck like glue lol. i went through a lot of really Not Good stuff this year, both in and out of fandom, and i just think that me being able to say “im still me” and stick to my values is really good. im really happy with what i created though. i dont compliment myself a lot, but im giving myself a pat on the back, and a big fat hug for everything that i’ve been through, and that i still have the courage to be here. and still loving my friends and family, and loving my hobbies. im really proud of myself, truly.

i couldnt have done a lot of that with my mutuals, both ones i talk to, and the ones that i dont anymore. theyre exceptionally kind, and funny, and keep me going. i couldnt be more thankful for their presence in my life.

(yes i will be complimenting my closer mutuals, they all deserve it)

@bisexualnathanyoung ry is super sweet :). i love talking to them (even if it’s just me screaming in the tags most of the time) i like hearing about their thoughts on stuff, and even tho i wanna punch him, their love for nathan young is incredible and unmatched. me 🤝 ry *tired of people in our respective states being rude about COVID stuff*

@badsext i love her so much :). somehow a lot of our conversations end up being about food (and make each other hungry). i love hearing about different stuff thats been going on in her life, and she also has really good show and movie recommendations. her short stories are phenomenal btw. very funny and nice :)

@magic-multicolored-miracle we dont talk much, BUT i really appreciate shye’s presence. she has really good taste in music, and works very hard. she made me fall in love with derek sandoval, and every chapter “idiot affectionate” has a deathgrip on me, as well as any updates about olive and jess’ livelihood. i love her posts about mass effect too (even tho im lost half the time lol) extremely talented.

@joz-stankovich got me hooked on bakugou and he has a fucking chokehold on me. (if u dont call him off, im gonna log him off of the earth permanently/j). they’re super talented. i was very excited (and still am) when they started having brainrot for BNHA stuff bc i was like “ah, another pal to share class 1-a thoughts with”. theyre also super duper talented and their writing is g r e a t. i love talking about country! kirishima with them, and art student! bakugou. brainrot hours? brainrot hours. also really good at art like keep some talent for the rest of us/lh.

@the-freckled-luba  we dont talk very much, but from june to mid september, the loki series was our braincell (as well as mobius), and our braincell ONLY. i love seeing the stuff you tag me in, and i really appreciate your good vibes! very sweet individual :)

kaeya lets you lie down on his chest while he threads his hands through your hair and lets you cry/rant so u can get alllll your sad feelings out,,, and if u don't wanna talk abt it thats fine too !! he starts humming softly, a rlly old nursery rhyme from his childhood in khaenriah that he still recalls, and after a minute or two he'll sing along quietly too - his voice is so mellifluous that you fall asleep rlly quick, and then when you wake up you feel much better ^_^

AND YES STORY TELLING AAAA i've always thought he'd like to go and entertain the orphans in mondstat by reading picture books to them or just making up stories for them since he's so good at it. if you give him a picture book with different characters he'll definitely make cute little unique voices for each character and it's AAAA SO SWEET (can you tell i have many MANY thoughts on this LOL)

cooking,,,,with kaeya,,,,AAAAAAA absolutely absolutely YES. i imagine he has a preference of baking over cooking (yes i am projecting a secret sweet tooth onto him mwahahahaha/lh) and he'd purposely get whipped cream on his s/o lips as an excuse to kiss them AAAAAAA :D but back to the hc (im getting sidetracked lolol) yes!!! he acts cocky and charismatic but that doesn't mean he doesn't care, in fact it's completely the opposite. aahgfdhdf and his subtle touches have so many unsaid words in them it'd just be so comforting to receive even a simple hug from him since he's saying so much with just his touch. he definitely would attune his methods of comfort to his s/o's receiving love language since he's pretty versatile and just hgngnghfghgj he'd do anything to make them feel better he's so sweet <3
