7. What character do you enjoy writing most? Why?

I will always LOVE LOVE LOVE writing Scarlet Envy as a character. Dialogue is one of the things I struggle most with when writing fics but when its Scarlet it just comes so easy to me. The delusion, the air about her, the soft side like she's just flows for me.

10. What is your favourite au? Have you written anything for it?

i love a lawyer au always and forever. ive never finished one but i have one in my collection of extra slow cooking wips that id love to just finish one day. also if it were not for incredible lawyer aus by ortega and kite from the branjie era then i dont think id have even came back to write for drag race in 2019 so i owe them xo

What was your first drag race ship?

So I didn’t realize that shipping in drag race was an actual thing that fans did until I actually got involved in the fandom a little after s12 finished airing. (I was really confused with the whole branjie thing lmao) But after I got a little more involved with the fandom, I really liked Crygi as a ship.

I didn’t really get interested in any drag race fanfics until like s14 was airing, either. I found some fic on accident and fell down a rabbit hole lmao.

ok i tried to think of a variety here for ships: kamjie, methessence, rolivia, lemyanka

Kamjie: Okay listen, as someone who has probably read just about the entire Branjie Tag on Ao3, i mostly know this ship as the evil darker alternative that creates conflict in the second third of the fic. So other than „oh kameron was mentioned i bet she’s gonna flirt with Vanj“ i never really cared about it haha. I’m indifferent.

Methessence: ooooh i like this one. Rare Pair for sure, but i like the vibes a lot. Silly goody gfs!

Rolivia: I Dunno, i don’t really care about this.

Lemyanka: definitely a core ship. I love these bitches so much.

Literally the entire reason I am poking my head back into tumblr today is to see if there is a fandom for them because I too just watched the show and loved it. Where is their fandom at?!! I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THEM 🥹🥹🥹🥰🥰🥰

They are PERFECT i adore them together my mind is blown by how well suited they are and I could scream about this all day 💖💖 Having spent so long analysing Vanjie’s potential thoughts and feelings to write Branjie fic back in those days it’s so satisfying and inspiring to see him so happy with a guy who is such a great match for him ❤️ Who knew there was someone this perfect for Vanj out there? What are the chances they would find each other on ANOTHER reality show?? And of course the boy is a LITERAL DISNEY PRINCE. OF COURSE HE IS. 😂😭🥺 He also seems like the sweetest?!! So wholesome and unproblematic and sincere as far as I can tell??

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

ohhhhh this one's obvious, i think, deffo the cliffhanger i left chap 6 'better yet i believe' on

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

i love a sexual tension/push and pull moment in almost everything i write tbh, even if there's no actual smut. it's such a fun way to explore a dynamic w higher stakes without putting anyone through angst or trauma. also love writing characters hashing things out over lunch/dinner (food as bonding!!!)

💖 What made you start writing?

branjie, funnily enough! i've never actually written them but i was consuming so much branjie fic and adoring the styles they were written in--so much heartshattering angst--that i wanted to give writing fic a try. writing in general has always been a part of my life, though, ever since like elementary school.

❌ What's a trope you will never write?

i'd say dubcon or noncon, or things like teacher/student. they make me uncomfy to read so i wouldn't want to write them personally.

🧐 Do you spend much time researching for your stories?

i haven't written too many fics where i've really had to delve into anything too deeply, i think. for DTIE it's just been some light googling to figure out dates/logistics (eg: Grammy nominations typically come out in november)
