if it's a brday celebration : all i need is that a cupcake or a pastry 🍰, she and i , silent celebration in a room with a soft music of keeravani sir. we can have calming conversation, the whole nights with cuddles/soft sex/warm showers.

i'm still waiting for picnic dates.

if we're having pizza then it'll be home date, with f.r.i.e.n.d.s on tv, chilly temp°, white sheets : the best

i have this date idea where i wanna take her to museum and while talking art i can slide my hands on her, pull her bit closer from right side. i wanna take lots of pictures.

Recently I was looking back at past journal entries from about one year ago, and a flood of memories starting coming back. This time last year, I was just starting to come back to the Lord after wrestling and running away from Him for a while. Coming back into His presence was glorious, but at the same time unbelievably painful. During those days, I felt so undeserving. I felt so broken, and I felt so unworthy to even be around my new church community; in my head, I saw them as so much holier and more righteous and so much better than me. I had such a hard time receiving from the Lord because I didn’t think it was fair for me to receive when I’d straight up said “no” to God everyday for the past few months.

In my insecurity and pride, I’d forgotten the grace of Jesus. Though I knew it in my head, in my heart I’d forgotten the victory He claimed over sin and death of the cross.

What amazes me is where I am now. Not to say I have no struggles (those who are close to me know LOL), but my heart posture and my life is so drastically different than merely one year ago. The joy I have in simply being able to do life with the Lord is so constant. Back then, my joy was so dependent on God blessings, not just God.

And this is not to boast of myself. I’m saying all this because it is all due to God’s faithfulness!!

In all honesty, I have no idea how I got to where I am today. Because for sure, none of it was my doing.

In the midst all of my rebellion and bitterness towards Him, He met me and rescued me out of darkness. He taught me that He truly is the God of the one lost sheep. He showed me that He is so, so patient, more than I could ever imagine.

As God refined me, it wasn’t easy. It was a crazy season of pruning, learning, failing, and growing. But through it all, God gave me such a deep love and adoration for the simple truth that He is Lord. And that’s all we need.
