Dusting off my blog to post the birthday girl!!!! It was Bria's 5th in-game birthday the other day, everyone pls cheer and clap for her because she deserves it!!! 🎉🎉🎉🥰🥰🥹🥹💖💖💖🥹🥰🎉🎉

I might not be that into GW2 atm but I think about her always <3 I don't rlly vibe with where the game's story is at currently and I'm also not a big fan of the direction anet has been taking it overall but who knows, maybe at some point in the future it will have me back in its clutches. Until then Bria is vibing in retirement with her husband and kids, and all is well. 💖

BIRTHDAY GIRL BIRTHDAY GIRL !!!! 💖🎉🎂💖🎉🎂💖

I didn't make it to Pride this year so I missed Bria's birthday (it was on the 28th!) but she's four in-game years old now! They grow up so fast. 😭💖

Also like... not to get sappy but it is wild to think about how much has changed in my life since I made them, and even wilder how much of it I quite literally owe to her and GW2 in general.

I'd never have met my wonderful partner if I hadn't gotten into the game, and like. I literally moved to a different country almost a year ago because of that. I also met a lot of other great people over the years too and I have a lot of fond memories, so I am glad I listened to my friends back when they recommended me the game haha! 💖

For the past few months I've been taking a bit of a break from the game because I didn't really vibe with the Post-EoD content tbh, but I've still constantly been thinking about Bria and my other GW2 kiddos and I am excited for the new expansion!!! I can't wait to take my baby here on another ride, so here's to many more birthdays to come! 🎉🎉

anet: the commander is suffering. haunted by the ghosts of the past both literally and figuratively. they're just so so tired. yet they cannot rest. traumatized. abandoned. mental wounds that will never heal. forgotten by those they once called their closest companions. what a dreadful existence. what a lonely life. when will the horrors for them end??!!?!?

me, personally: my commander is the most stable and well-adjusted they've ever been. just so relieved the dragon cycle is over, tyria is still standing, and her loved ones are safe and happily moving on to lead their own lives. she's finally been able to relax the past year, pick up a new hobby or two, spend some quiet time with her family. what a time for them to be alive!
