On a scale of 1 to 5 ( 5 being the highest) how important is self care to you? For me, self care is super important before anything else because if I’m not right inside and out everything else is out of whack! Here are a few practices that I believe are Essential to self care: 1. If it feels wrong, Don’t do it! 2. Say exactly what you mean 3. Don’t be a people pleaser 4. Trust your instincts 5. Never speak bad about yourself. 6. Never give up on your dreams. 7. Don’t be afraid to say No. 8. Stay away from drama and negativity. 9. Be kind to yourself. 10. Let go of what you can’t control. 11. I've been trying new products all month with pretty decent luck! I picked up the @blackradiancebeauty True Complexion Contour Palette a while back out of curiosity. I'm really liking it so far! 👌🏾 The @blackradiancebeauty True Complexion Contour Palette is an all powder palette featuring a Contour, Sculpt & Highlight. I have the Medium to Dark version which works rather well for my chocolate cheeks. The contour is deep enough for a fierce, sharp contour but can be easily sheered out for natural definition too 🙌🏾 The sculpt shade is great for snatching that nose contour without being too dramatic. Surprisingly, the highlighter isn't glittery or metallic at all. I’ve been trying out the @ayuminaturals Tumeric & Bergamot Face Mask, and so far I like it. This face mask is specifically for combination and blemished skin (🙋🏾‍♀️) and I’ve noticed that my spots are less prominent after using.
