1971 Mclaren M8F - Denny Hulme A post-apocalyptic take on the brutally dominant eight-litre V8 Mclaren M8. Got a bit carried away with this one, but the car offers a lot in term of imagination & is inspired by the automotive concept artist Syd Mead and today's modern day master; @danielsimondesign 1971 would see the final year of Mclaren's 5-year domination of the Can-Am series. Mclaren teammates Peter Revson & Denny Hulme would battle it out through the '71 season to take 1-2 in the final standings. Partito dall'ottava posizione sulla griglia di partenza, Clark risalì rapidamente la classifica portandosi al primo posto e ampliando il vantaggio nei confronti di tutti i suoi avversari giro dopo giro. Al termine della gara Clark doppió tutti i piloti ad eccezione del secondo classificato Bruce Mclaren, distaccato quattro minuti e cinquantaquattro secondi.
