Wren is a hyena-person who uses She/They person. Their face and hair is a more fur like texture, and they have patches of fur on their hands and arms. They've got paws instead of feet and some hyena markings! She has large hyena ears and a tail as well!

She is a knight to the royal family, fresh out of training! Her father's family has been serving as guards for more than two generations, and their mother's family has served as cooks since the current family came to rule.

while I don't want them to work together in the nightcap they did use to be coworkers at the spire lounge! i think hellebore was trying to save up some money for college, and camilo was trying to work both as a bartender and a teacher... goddess bless he got fired what the hell was he thinking

about teaching, camilo was a primary school teacher! he really did love his job even if it sucked the life out of him. unfortunately his debt was only getting deeper and his paycheck wasn't getting any higher, so he had to quit and ended up applying for the nightcap's bartender instead (howeverrrr if hellebore's the bartender... he does stay as a teacher)

hellebore did get to finish college by the way! (now carrying debt!) she studied physics, but she'd been struggling to find/keep a job until she reluctantly applied as a bartender for the nightcap (if camilo's the bartender hellebore does get accepted into a job related to their studies! yahoo!!)

when the game takes place, camilo is 39-40 y/o (his birthday is on october 20th but he probably forgot) and hellebore 25-26 (january 30th! the month after baby's first case)

camilo does Not like playing detective, every time he sees hugo descending those stairs he takes the deepest breath he can muster. hellebore on the other hand, finds it to be the most exciting part of his job! while camilo relies on his memory and simply scribbles down his observations in a worn notebook, hellebore has the whole corkboard set-up and extensive notes on her customers... no that's not creepy shut up THEY'RE INVESTED!!

camilo's favorite drinks are copper bullet and royal flush, hellebore's are poison drop and liberty <3 i felt like i needed to give them their own favorites

bonus: the hellebore timeline i had to write out while trying to figure out how old he is
