I rewatched Bungou Stray Dogs recently (previously had only watched up to season 3) and I'm SHOCKED at the fact that Kunikida isn't more popular. Like, that's my fucking guy. That's my autistic freak that regularly commits felons for the people he holds dearest despite being the "straight man" of the group. Thats my blorbo that so desperately wants to save everyone but can't save anyone due to circumstances outside of his control and still holds himself responsible.

Crazy, insane actually, that Dazai, Chuuya, and Kunikida are all only 22 in the main story... like, just-graduated-college age... idk its just important to me that theyre all so fcking young in comparison to being, yknow, a government-associated detective or a high-ranking mafia underboss exec

Like sure its kinda acknowledged for Chuuya and Dazai, what with their lil prequel stories, and also we see 20 y/o Dazai in his Entrance Exam, but Kunikida?? Hes a former math tutor, but they often refer to his position as a "Teacher" which, idk about you, but I interpret the difference in terms the same way i differentiate a nurse from a doctor, so the implication of Teacher over Tutor... yknow? Just makes him feel older, plus his general demeanor being so no-nonsense (though really hes just autistic methinks) (no i dont mean ocd hed be very different if it were ocd) (argue with a wall its fiction)
