@ticklinglady : Your girls are too cute not to be interested in! Plus I know little to nothing about haiku, so it was always good to learn more on the subject :D
And writing the story is only up to you of course, but I'd love to read it 🤭 The little info that we have is intriguing enough and the characters seem rather charismatic
Also thank you for the permission! <3 Please tell us more about Maurice LeBlanc! It makes for him to be more mysterious than the others, but getting to know him a bit more would be lovely.
And can you also ramble about the ladies of the Special Division more ? 🥰
You hear the sound of deep sighing. *adds wip number 25 to the list*
I really appreciate the interest though! I like these little guys a lot already. I'm really no expert on haiku, more of a casual enjoyer. However, I did a little more research in order to create the characters.
Leblanc is fun, I think! He is a thief (of course) who is interesting in the challenge he poses to Ranpo over the course of the story because it's not so much about discovering "who committed this crime" - everyone knows it was him; he outright advertises it lol - as it is about actually catching the guy or stopping him from striking again. In that sense, he's intended to be a worthy opponent, something which makes Poe feel a little insecure. Ranpo finds Leblanc an amusing challenge, if a bit irritating, while Poe can't stand him lol. Leblanc is all about the drama and performance of it all, but his targets are usually rich assholes, so for him to be going after some ability artifact is odd - and this is why Ranpo actually starts to properly go after the guy so he can get answers and confirm his suspicions.
The Special Division girls! Yes, I can talk about them a little more! I can't remember exactly what I mentioned earlier, so sorry if I've basically just repeated myself. Sugita and Takeshita are members of an offshoot branch of the Special Division in charge of safely monitoring and storing objects and artifacts that are created or imbued with powers from an ability. Sugita is one of the up and coming stars of this branch and she knows it - she's confident, a bit of a showoff, and loves hearing how good of a job she did. Thing is, she actually is very competent - she's good with her twin pistols and is an excellent field agent. However, Sugita is also kind of infamous for her really sharp mood swings - usually she's pretty upbeat, but if the slightest thing goes wrong, then she turns to being extremely dramatic and upset about how nothing is going right or ever will again, or swearing her revenge if the "something that went wrong" was due to someone being a jerk. Takeshita especially hates when she gets like this, because often Sugita will not leave her alone until she's finished venting about it hjdhdb
Takeshita is sort of Sugita's partner - at least they often get thrown together on missions, which annoys Takeshita to no end because she does not like her, even though Sugita is very convinced they're good friends. Takeshita works another job outside of being an agent as a tutor for young children in order to support her own. As such, she rarely has any downtime and is near constantly working. She's bitter about her life and situation, and it becomes clearer later on that a lot of her dislike of Sugita is actually more jealousy for the way she can be so free-spirited while Takashita is kind of stuck.
Here, I made these really rough kind of crappy five second doodles. Their designs will probably change up a bit, in all honesty
Left to right: Sugita, Takeshita, Leblanc

ABSOLUTELY UNHINGED COMEDIC RELIEF

"Cherie, do you need money...?"
That's strange though. Fitzgerald never failed to pay his employees handsomely, and Emily isn't a spendthrift, so she should still have plenty of money saved up.
Unless...
"Did your money get lost in the aftermath of the Guild's fall?" She knows many of the remaining assets were seized by outside parties in the chaos following the fall of the Moby Dick... did it include Emily's money as well?
"Anyway, you don't have to commit fraud or other crimes, mon ange, you can use my money, I have plenty saved up!" She still has plenty of money saved up, not to mention a steady income from working at her brother's pub. She's nore than happy to share it with her girlfriend!

What would be Maurice LeBlanc's ability?
He has an alter ego named Arsene that only comes out during the depths of the night. It’s stealthier than a cat and more deadly than a weapon. No one’s ever seen it but its existence is the stuff of legends. LeBlanc uses it to commit heists and thieveries, of course.

Introducing the crew
Hi there! This will be the first post on this blog; all of the OCs are from the two mods (mod Cielton and mod Chester).
----------------
Arthur Conan Doyle: The founder and president of the society, a great gentleman who's full of himself and hates his own character, but still loves to write about his own cases. An ability user from Scotland, and close friend of Willie Hornung. One of the tea lovers.
Maurice Leblanc: A good detective and writer, the "biographer" of Areène Lupin; is actually the said thief. A playful jerk that loves teasing and provoking Doyle in the worst ways possible. The only Frenchman on the society. Not a tea lover.
E. W. Hornung: Called Willie by his friend Doyle and William by the others, a silent writer who's actually the feared A. J. Raffles, one of the phantom thieves inside the organization. A great detective with serious self-esteem problems. Another tea lover, this time and Actual Englishman™
S. S. Van Dine: The cold art lover and chess addicted, whose opinion and literary review is at the same time feared and respected by all of the members. He can be a prick most of the time, but he's a good person. The first and greatest tea lover, one of the Americans. Don't break his twenty commandments or he will destroy you.
Dorothy L. Sayers: A sweet, caring mother of both the group and a little kid called Tony, and Van Dine's best friend. Is one of the only sane people inside the organization, and will shoot a bitch if someone hurts one of the members, physically and/or mentally. Another tea lover, and Actual English™ woman.
Jo Nesbø: A young Norwegian writer. His past is mysterious and unknown, and he doesn't really talk about it. Can be very quiet and antisocial, but when you get to know him, you realize he's actually very childish and funny. Often makes jokes in inappropriate moments.
Leslie Charteris: The shy, adorkable writer that can and will break everything near him unintentionally, and who's actually another phantom thief, The Saint, and can become scarily different during heists. Chinese and not a fan of tea, no one other than Leblanc knows his secret identity.
Frederic Dannay: The more logical, rational, yet extroverted of the cousins using the Ellery Queen pseudonym. Is the one that writers most of the clues and important points down, while his cousin does most of the narration and turns it into real plot. Another American tea lover.
Manfred Bennington Lee: A shy, emotional and caring writer, that has a talent with words. Even if he's not the best with logic and deduction, is an incredible detective, and is admired by his peers because of his talent. Another American, not fond of tea.
Ryukishi07: a cinnamon roll. Sweetheart. But can kill a bitch if so desired. Nesbø's favourite
Ryukishi07: The first mangaka to enter the society, a good and gentle man that, when angered, can become a very unstable and harsh person. Was the only one to make a game by himself, and is known by putting magic and murder mystery together. A Japanese man, also a tea lover.
Tsugumi Ohba: The one writing this as you read this, and the best mangaka in this entire society. A secretive, yet childish and competitive young man that loves his tea set and turns even a deck of cards into a little castle. The greatest tea lover, that loves tea even more than Van Dine.
Gosho Aoyama: The ultimate Sherlock fanboy, that's actually an introvert and a childish man, with the most incredible and creative crimes ever written. The last Japanese mangaka of the bunch, and a good friend that is always open to listen advices of the other members. Not a tea lover.
Carolyn Wells: A tomboyish, energetic and clever young woman, with serious problems regarding the other female writer, Dorothy, because of her insecurities regarding her literary work. The youngest of the bunch, but also the person with most novels inside the organization. Is the American pride of Conan Doyle, treated like his daughter, and not a tea lover.
Erle Stanley Gardner: The American man that looks more like an action hero than a writer; a good detective and lawyer that accepts cases based on how difficult they are, and normally on a whim. Can be a prick (not as much as Van Dine), but is a cool, intelligent man. Prefers coffee, but can appreciate a good tea.

potential authors that may appear in bsd
Arthur Conan Doyle- wrote sherlock holmes, definitely getting into the DETECTIVE manga (maybe apart of the clocktower?, he was also famously gullible in contrast to his work, was friends with harry houdini and genuinely believed he was a wizard even though houdini repeatedly showed how his tricks worked, was also tricked by the first case of photo-editing by two little girls, prime joke material), THEORY TIME: he's going to have the actual 'super deduction' ability and will make ranpo face once and for that he's a normal person but ranpo will be able to out deduce him thus disproving that normal people can't defeat ability users
Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu- carmilla (the lesbian vampire story that predated bram stoker's dracula by 26 YEARS CARMILLA SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRST, he could show up with a possible cure to the vampire curse in the current arc?, maybe he or carmilla was even the one to bite and turn stoker)
Lewis Carrol- wrote alice's adventures in wonderland
jrr tolkien- wrote the hobbit and lord of the rings
Hans Christian Andersen- wrote the little mermaid and the snow queen
The Grimm brothers- wrote most famous fairytales
Johnston McCulley- wrote zorro (may appear as part of a phantom theives guild in a more lighthearted arc after this one before jumping back into the main story?)
Marice Leblanc- wrote arsene lupine (had a crossover with edogawa ranpo's kogoro akechi lmao ty p5 knowledge AND sherlock holmes, a near guaranteed shoe-in, also part of that phantom theives guild with a potential past involving both doyle and ranpo)
Prosper Mérimée (?)- in the same vein of p5 references, the thief woman in prison may have actually been carmen from the opera carmen by prosper mérimée (soon to be thieves guild member?)
Robert Louis Stevenson- wrote the strange case of dr jerkyll and mr hyde and treasure island (thieves guild member, possible split personality a la jerkyll/hyde, blackbeard and william kid references incoming)
Alexandre Dumas- the three musketeers, the count of monte cristo (also thieves guild member)
Gaston Leroux- phantom of the opera (possible thieves guild member off work only)
toni morrison- we are in DESPARATE NEED of black writers, although maybe not since she only recently passed, wrote beloved and the bluest eye
zora neale hurston- their eyes were watching god
hughs langston- famous poet
richard wright- black boy, native son
Harriet Beecher Stowe- uncle tom's cabin
harper lee- to kill a mockingbird
robert frost- famous poet, wrote the road not taken
emiliy dickinson- famous poet
ernest hemmingway- famous poet (if his ability is for whom the bell tolls we're fucked)
jane austen- pride and prejudice (would probably get along with margaret and Nathaniel)
the brontë sisters- jane eyre, wuthering heights (would get along with jane, margaret, and Nathaniel)
george orwell- 1984 and animal farm
william golding- the lord of the flies
Joseph hellar- catch-22 (his power would be hell, a literal catch-22)
ralph ellison- the invisible man (ability is obvious, thieves guild member, maybe a conflict with tanizaki considering the similar abilities?)
oscar wilde- the picture of dorian gray (this man was a great big bisexual SLUT in life i want him to be the same in bsd)
virginia woolf- to the lighthouse (maybe will reference who's afraid of virginia woolf?)
c. s. lewis- the chronicles of narnia (personally knew jrr tolkien, famously at odds over Christmas, prime joke material)
charles dickens- a Christmas carol, oliver twist, a tale of two cities, and great expectations
arthur miller- the crucible (maybe his ability makes people distrust others?)
Johnathan swift- Gulliver's travels (teleporting ability definitely, new fast travel plot device although maybe not as it could conflict with Gogol's ability)
Vladimir Nabokov- lolita, pale fire (on second thought i don't want him in here i can only IMAGINE how that would turn out, if he shows up he and mori would either get along or HATE each other)
Leo Tolstoy- war and peace (we already know fyodor is surviving this we still don't know what crime and punishment does CAN YOU IMAGINE HIM AND FYODOR TOGETHER HELLWORLDHELLWORLDHELLWORLD) THEORY TIME AGAIN: his power is one that specifically targets only ability users and makes them slowly start acting in either anger or complete affability until everyone is at war or peace, he would be the perfect compliment to fyodor if crime and punishment kills people who believe they're guilty literally the perfect storm of abilities, the absolute worst case scenario powers we're looking at a dark soukoku here
franz kafka- metamorphosis (he's gonna turn into a bug, isn't he)
Harlan Ellison- i have no mouth and i must scream (the horror related ability to replace lovecraft without being horrifically broken)
authors that i desparately want to show up but probably won't bc they didn't write in the 1800-1900s range that asagiri likes, are still alive, or are not globally recognizable enough
homer- the illiad and oddessy (i hope he starts his ability by making an invocation to the muses)
sappho (LESBIANS RISE UP)
virgil- the aeniad
dante- the divine comedy (virgil is a character in divine comedy like how bsd includes authors of other works, prime joke material)
john milton- paradise lost
Gilgamesh or Enkidu- we don't know who wrote the epic of Gilgamesh so the characters themselves could appear
margret atwood- oryx and crake, cat's eye (potentially another animal shapeshifting power, atsushi's gonna have a little cat colony gang at this rate)
neil gaiman- american gods, the sandman ('american gods sounds like a broken ability)
ursula k. guin- earthsea series
stan lee- i know he wrote comics not long form literature but i think the father of american comics and the superhero genre deserves to be recognized in the superhero/mafia/detective noir manga; plus japanese manga was heavily influenced by american comics after wwii, we would literally not be reading bsd in the same state today without stan lee
stephen king- no explanation needed, PLEASE LET HIM MEET LOVECRAFT KING IS A GIANT FAN OF LOVECRAFT I THINK HE SHOULD GET TO MEET HIS IDOL
r. l. stein- goosebumps, if literally NONE of these authors make it in PLEASE AT LEAST LET RL STEIN GET IN AND LET HIM MEET LOVECRAFT PLEASE GOOSEBUMPS DESERVES SO MUCH LOVE AND PLEASE GOD LET HIS POWER BE THAT FUCKING PUPPET I WANT TO SLAPPY TO BE ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND JUST EXIST TO TORMENT STEIN
chuck tingle- pounded in the butt series guy, he should be the god of the bsd universe this is not a joke
#bungou stray dogs#bsd#i know for a FACT i am missing so many more but i literally wrote down EVERYONE i could think of#now im really scared of that potential future arc where leo tolstoy teams up with fyodor and fucks EVERYTHING#i could not care less about fukuchi he is not the biggest problem in the decay of angels it is absolutely dostoyevsky#and after getting a fast one pulled on him by dazai he is going to come back more furious than ever#you can't tell me the abilities 'war and peace' and 'crime and punishment' don't sound like absolute hell together this is gonna be baaaaad#I FORGOT NEIL GAIMAN URSULA K GUIN AND STAN LEE!!!!! SHAME!!!!!!

3, 4, and 7 for the general section of the selfship asks you reblogged, for anyone you currently wanna talk about
Thanks for the ask, @lex-n-weegie! (Would have responded earlier but work has been a pain in the rear)
For this one, I'll answer it on behalf of Ranpo and my BSD s/i, Maurice Leblanc.
Ship Questions
3. What was their first kiss like?
Like a massive, sudden breach of romantic tension between a somewhat flirty gentleman thief and his detective rival. Almost like a big sigh of relief, if you know what I mean.
4. Were they each other’s first anything (kiss, relationship, etc.)?
Well it was Ranpo's first kiss and first romantic relationship, actually.
7. Who takes the lead in social situations?
Probably Maurice - he's the more extroverted of the two.

Also there are other ocs who have more of a supporting role. I've listed their abilities here just for fun.
Hisajo Sugita (an agent with an offshoot branch of Special Division that specializes in ability-created objects, who oversees Takajo and Takako). Her ability is The Flowered Robe, which allows her to hide what she most values in her vicinity - it cannot be discovered. She's incredibly skilled with her dual handguns but sometimes tries to show off a bit too much. She's also very moody, sometimes switching from bragging and self-satisfied to dramatically sad and spiteful within the hour. She hates being assigned to basically babysit two teenagers, but basks in Takako's praise.
Shizunojo Takeshita (another agent within the Special Division and Sugita's field mission partner, not assigned to look out for the girls but needs to file the reports that Sugita delivers back to her). Her ability is Gale, which allows her to disorient her opponents' sense of sight and hearing with a strong continued gust of wind. Its strength is directly proportional to how stressed she is. She is almost always stressed, overworked, and tired of Sugita's antics.
Maurice Leblanc (phantom thief who goes by many names and enjoys playfully antagonizing Ranpo and Poe). His ability is Twenty Faces, which allows him to be able to shape-shift between twenty different forms. May sound limiting, but he's also a master of disguise. Often he doesn't even have to shift to completely change his appearance. He may not be entirely acting of his own free will.
Robert Louis Stevenson (a foreign visitor who is also looking for the artifact; very affable and easily strikes an acquaintanceship with Atsushi). His ability is Treasure Island, which allows him to locate anything so long as he's held it once, no matter how far it may be. He and Atsushi swap stories about the difficulties in their lives - it seems he really takes a liking to him.
These are the BSD ocs I drew a while back in these posts here, here, and here. I'm finally going to introduce them - they are both named for famous haiku poets (two of the 4 Ts!).
Takajo Mitsuhashi
Ability: Fern Hell/Shida Jigoku - A passive ability with an active component. Passively, she has a connection to what may or may not be a kind of life force - she can sense the presence of every individual, making her near impossible to sneak up on. Throttling the connection between person and life force either denotes a strange effect on their ability, or can shut down their life functions and kill them.
Age: 17
Birth Date: January 24th
Height: 162 cm
Weight: 116 lb
Blood Type: AB
Likes: Abstract art, meditation, cicadas
Dislikes: Restrictions, too much noise
Additional notes: Unused to feeling strong emotions, but is far from expressionless in intonation - she tends to be polite yet laid back and mildly cocky, especially when poking holes at authority/She was formerly an assassin/She also has the capacity to barely feel any pain and keep moving, even from deep injuries. This is not an ability. It's implied she trained to be able to do this./Becomes fascinated by Yosano and regularly observes her and her choices/Cannot understand why Takako doesn't think she's cool and then feels frustrated that this upsets her.
Takako Hashimoto
Ability: The Red Thread/Beniito - Allows the creation of a thin red thread, which, when connected with an object or person, acts as a rope to allow her to pull objects closer or drag them. Connections to people sometimes involve her gaining flashes of their emotional state and core desires.
Age: 16
Birth Date: January 15th
Height: 166 cm
Weight: 130 lb
Blood Type: B
Likes: Snow, yubari melon, dancing
Dislikes: Loneliness, feeling left behind
Additional notes: Born to comfortable wealth but has since given that up for unknown reasons/Sociable and empathetic but rarely talks about herself/Has an unfortunate tendency to throw herself into danger without thinking it through, much to Takajo's frustration/Tends to fangirl over people she thinks are cool, like Agent Hisajo/Thinks Takajo is one of the coolest people she's met but pretends she doesn't think so out of embarrassment of admitting that. This leads to childish spats.
They are part of a story involving Takajo attempting to find a powerful ability user-made artifact. Takako is the only one who can locate it, and therefore, they strike a deal to work together. They conflict with an offshoot of the Special Division, which essentially blackmails the girls into helping them find it and store it securely - but both girls are in agreement that the artifact needs to be destroyed (the one thing they do reliably agree on).
Though at first they are only working together out of a shared goal, they eventually come to care about one another deeply.
...ok. Running off now byeee
#added notes on other characters and their abilities!#there's minor roles too but these guys are important like t & t#bsd#bsd ocs#bsd sugita#bsd takeshita#bsd stevenson#bsd leblanc#oh! bonus info - leblanc's ability being called twenty faces is because i didn't want to say 'gentleman thief' as an ability#i thought it too on the nose#in irl ranpo's kogoro akechi stories there is an antagonist phantom thief based on arsene lupin who is called the fiend with twenty faces#hence my choice of ability name :)#storyrambles

“ this was probably a mistake. ” [ jono and maurice? ]
MORNING AFTER STARTERS
Maurice is dozing off contentedly, pretending to be in a deeper sleep than he actually is so he can enjoy a little more time basking in Jono's warmth before they have to part for their respective jobs, more satisfied and happy than he's been in years...
...then Jono utters those five little words and it's like an icy cold shower, blue eyes snapping open and staring at the Hunting Dogs in wide-eyed astonishment.
A mistake? A mistake?!
Those same eyes then narrow into thin slits as the ex-thief all but pounces on his bedmate, their bodies rolling for a moment before they end up with Jono on his back with Maurice straddling him and pinning his hands to the mattress, effectively trapping the other there.
He's fully aware that the Hunting Dog could easily shrug him off, he's certainly strong enough to do so, but Maurice won't let something like that stop him now. This could be the only chance he has left.

"No, this was not a mistake. Don't you dare try to run away!" Maurice hisses, blue eyes set in an icy glare that Jono is sure to feel despite being unable to see it.
His expression soften after a moment, as does his grip on Jono's wrist, although he doesn't let go completely, merely moving his hands so his fingers are intertwined with Jono's, still pinning his hands above his head "When will you stop punishing yourself? I forgave you a long time ago..."
He lets go of one hand to cup Jono's cheek, stroking the soft, flushed skin right underneath his eye "If you've... really decided you're no longer interested, then alright, I understand... but if you're only denying yourself because of some twisted form of penance, or because you're afraid of hurting me again... then don't do it anymore."
He leans in then, brushing his lips against Jono's in the softest kiss they've exchanged so far "Give me - us - another chance... please."

Bungou Stray Dogs Questionnaire!
Thanks to @nsisbest385 , of course, I'm doing this.
Rules: Complete all the questions you want, expand and explain your answers as much as you want, and have fun!
If you can, tag some people you want to join in on the fun!
----------------------------------------------
What ability would you have in the BSD universe? (What would it be called? What's its purpose? How does it work?)
Little did Dino know that I already have one ready for this question.
The Puzzle Murderer:
The ability to understand and create "perfect" closed room murders; the ability allows the user to see how to make the most viable closed room and the hardest to crack with the available materials they have. Not only can the ability allow the user to see an almost perfect closed room murder, but also to make it the most extravagant, flamboyant murder ever. The less resources, observational skills and creativity the user has, the easier it is to understand the trick. Every murder it comes up with is solvable, if the person pays attention. It can also be used in writing, as long as the local, persons involved and situation is specified enough.
It has to follow this rules:
1- The "reader"/those who are observing the crime being solved by the detective must have equal opportunity with the detective for solving the mystery. All clues must be plainly stated and described.
2- No willful tricks or deceptions may be placed on the "reader" other than those played legitimately by the criminal on the detective himself.
3- The detective himself, or one of the official investigators, should never turn out to be the culprit.
4- The culprit must be determined by logical deductions—not by accident or coincidence or unmotivated confession.
5- The crime must have a detective in it; and a detective is not a detective unless he detects. His function is to gather clues that will eventually lead to the person who did the dirty work in the first chapter; and if the detective does not reach his conclusions through an analysis of those clues, he "isn't allowed" to solve the case. He is physically stopped by the ability, and can't say the answer to the crime.
6- There has to be a corpse.
7- The problem of the crime must be solved by strictly naturalistic means. Such methods for learning the truth as slate-writing, ouija-boards, mind-reading, spiritualistic se'ances, crystal-gazing, and the like, are taboo.
8- There must be only one detective—that is, "one protagonist of deduction", the one who solves the case.
9- The culprit must turn out to be a person who has played a more or less prominent part in the story—that is, a person with whom the "reader" is familiar and in whom he takes an interest.
10- There must be but one culprit, no matter how many murders are committed. The culprit may, of course, have a minor helper or co-plotter; but the entire onus must rest on one pair of shoulders.
11- Secret societies, camorras, mafias, etc., have no place in the crime. A fascinating and truly beautiful murder is irremediably spoiled by any such wholesale culpability.
12- The method of murder, and the means of detecting it, must be rational and scientific. That is to say, pseudo-science and purely imaginative and speculative devices are not to be tolerated in the crime.
13- The truth of the problem must at all times be apparent.
14- It must never turn out to be an accident or a suicide.
15- The motives for all crimes the abilities create should be personal. International plottings and war politics belong in a different category—in secret-service tales, for instance.
----------------------------------------------
If you could claim someone's ability in BSD, whose ability would you want?
Ayatsuji's ability, Another; Tsujimura's ability, Yesterday's Shadow Tag; Ango's ability, Discourse on Decadence or Poe's ability, Black Cat in the Rue Morgue. One of those, alright? I'm terrible with deciding,,,,
----------------------------------------------
What group/organization would you join? (ex. Guild, Port Mafia, Armed Detectives' Agency, Rats, etc.)
Armed Detective Agency or Guild, though I would like to be on the Port Mafia and the Special Abilities Department,,,,, mostly because saving people and helping others is one of the things I want to do the most, but the Guild is also interesting and I want to? I'm sorry, I'm terrible with explaining ;w;
----------------------------------------------
Which BSD character do you identify with the most?
Tsujimura, personality-wise. Insecure, determined girl who gets angry easily and wants to keep everyone alive? That's basically me! And also, Kunikida, Ango and Ayatsuji—not as much as Mizuki, but I do identify with them a lot.
----------------------------------------------
Who are your top five favourite BSD characters?
1- Tsujimura and Ayatsuji, in the same level
2- Ango and Ranpo, in the same level
3- Twain
4- Kunikida
5- Oguri
----------------------------------------------
Are there any authors that you'd want to bring into the BSD universe that hasn't arrived yet? Or do you have OCs?
...I have too many OCs. I'll list them.

Favourite Scene(s)?
Ranpo and Poe talking about their first encounter. That and Ayatsuji exposing the first criminal in Gaiden, when Tsujimura entered the chapel and kicked the guy. That was great.
----------------------------------------------
Favourite Quotes from the Authors/Characters?
"Mystery fiction is, at its core, a kind of intellectual game. An exciting game of reasoning in the form of a novel. A game between the reader and the great detective, or the reader and the author. Nothing more or less than that."
— Ayatsuji Yukito.

Who would you want to bring to life to be your best friend? Waifu/Husbando?
Tsujimura. No questions, just Tsujimura.

If we're talking diners though, I've always wondered what kind of connection Maurice Leblanc would have to the bar Lupin if he were in BSD!
Ooh, interesting thought! The bar Lupin is real, as far as I know, and the Buraiha trio did use to frequent it. But if we could come up with a subtle connection between Leblanc and the bar, that would be pretty neat, right?
(Maurice Leblanc is the creator of Arséne Lupin, the famous fictional character. Think Sherlock Holmes but he's French and a thief 😂)
Let's see... perhaps he could be its owner, or it could have been named to commemorate him for some reason, or perhaps he just really likes the place because of its namesake 😝

hey there! may i request a matchup for a bsd boy and a persona series boy? I'm bi, 5 feet tall despite my age, and I've been told im a very good listener and care giver. I love to dress in goth and lolita fashion, especially the more elegant kind. Some of my favorite things are having tea, mysteries games/novels, vampire-y aesthetics, and caring for others. I've been described as having a warm and caring heart, while also being mischievous and able to have a good time! <3
Ooh, I think I know the people that will be quite right for you! Now I think I’ll match you up with…*dramatic drumroll*
Edogawa Ranpo!
Now this curious detective cutie is sure to have a blast with you! Kind yet mischievous? You are sure to be the perfect partner for Ranpo to go on adventures with! You would balance out his standoff-ish tendencies with your caring heart, and he in return would help you be more critical with your thinking skills. Dates with him would include mystery board game nights, cafe dates, and clothes shopping if you want! He would really appreciate a partner that’s also good at taking care of others. And believe me, he sometimes needs someone that is really good at looking out for others including himself. Overall, a very good match I’d recommend!
Another potential match in BSD: Edgar Allen Poe
and
Ren Amamiya! (P5 Protagonist)
Oh my goodness you two would be quite a match together too! You are quite like Ren in a number of ways in that you both may be a bit mischievous, but you two also care deeply for those that are close to you. Ren would adore your personality, and the two of you would be doing quite a number of heart-stealing heists together! Since Ren tends to love a bit of flair, he would not mind dressing up with you in any goth or vampire aesthetics you recommend to him. I can see him making his special blends of tea for you at Cafe Leblanc or even playing a few mystery games with you. It reminds him of his Phantom Thief heists, and it would help the two of you engage yourselves intellectually. Another really good match I’d recommend!
Hope you liked it!-The Pink Prophet 🌹✨

I’ve been into Bungou Stray Dogs lately and decided to make an OC based on one of my favourite authors
Name: Maurice Leblanc
Age: 22 Gender: Male Birthday: November 11 Blood Type: A Likes: Writing, hats Dislikes: fire, his appearance Ability: A Gentleman’s Disguise
A Gentleman’s Disguise allows Maurice to take on the appearance of anyone, as long as he’s wearing any wearable item from the person he’s going to be. The downside is that Maurice can only take the appearance and not the personality, mannerisms, abilities, etc. so he has to learn those if he’s going to pretend to be someone else.
has a meek personality, even in childhood, often relying on his sister, often outgoing and brave, to accompany him in most things
can be stubborn at times
Maurice doesn’t really like his appearance that much, due to him often mistaken as girl
He mostly prefer his work on journalism than getting involved with ADA or Port Mafia
Though, because of his work, and the information he gets, he sidelines as an Informant
Uses “Arsene” as his pen name, hoping that it would, at least, protect his identity
But it doesn’t always work
