It’s finally done! My fake promotional poster for Parallel Sailor Moon (I referenced the SuperS poster with Chibi Moon for this). It would be cool if she had her own OVA or season based on the short story. Also, don’t forget to follow me on IG for WIPs and other content!

For the ship meme Rei/Minako and or Zoisite/Kunzite
reinako:
Tumblr media
i like reinako a lot but i'm generally not hella invested in rei or minako unless i'm purposely thinking about either one, so i don't have as many Feels about them as some other ships-- but i think they'd actually be super healthy for at least thirty years starting when they're about 40
kunzoi:
Tumblr media
i LOVE them. i dont ship anyone in BSSM with only one other person, and i multiship so i can do parallel AU exclusive ships, and lets look at this as one of those so it doesnt get tangled in my mamoru x shitennou polycule--
they are horrible for each other in the DK because there is *nothing good* in the love department of the DK, BUT it is all-- i am CONVINCED it's all subversions of a really much healthier love from before the DK, and they cling to each other as the last piece of happiness theyre otherwise denied from a history they don't remember
not sure i'm doing this right but gosh it's delightful low-effort fun!

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - CALIFORNICATION (1999)
Tumblr media
Verão de 1999, 8 de junho. Fim do século.
Entretanto, batida rápida e energizante, versos beirando o hip hop, guitarra funkeada e a grande presença do baixo estão presente com maestria, representados em Around The World, Parallel Universe, I Like Dirt.

Flowers
Tumblr media
Many of my role play threads, particularly the ones that take place during Silver Millenium and Crystal Tokyo eras, take place in the royal gardens. It’s no secret that the rose represents Mamoru / Endymion, especially when looking at Tuxedo Kamen.
Silver Millennium
“THIS IS OUR ROSE GARDEN. EACH SON BORN TO THE ROYAL FAMILY GETS A GARDEN PLANTED IN THEIR NAME AT THEIR BIRTH.  AMARYLLIS WAS PLANTED FOR MY FATHER, AND BLUEBELL FOR HIS FATHER, AND GOLDENROD FOR HIS GRANDFATHER. EACH GARDEN TELLS A STORY ABOUT EACH SON AS THE BUSHES GROW AND THE FLOWERS BLOOM”
-- Prince Endymion [source]
During the Silver Millennium, gardens were considered blessings to each heir to the Earth Kingdom. When a new prince is born into the royal family, a fortuneteller comes to determine the prince’s future and to assign a royal flower to the heir. Endymion’s flower was the rose, so a rose garden was planted in the royal gardens in his honor.
Of course, the rose was assigned based on cues from canon sources. When looking up the symbolism behind the rose, particularly the red rose, it represents true love. True love is a common theme that occurs throughout the BSSM series, particularly between Usagi / Serenity and Mamoru / Endymion.
In the above quote, Endymion is explaining to Serenity the significance of the immediately surrounding gardens of the Earth Kingdom (in a role play thread between myself and silvermoonbunny’s Princess Serenity). Endymion’s father, the last king of the Earth Kingdom, had the flower Amaryllis assigned to him, which represented Pride. His grandfather had Bluebell, which represents humility and kindness. And his great grandfather had Goldenrod, which was encouragement and good fortune. I chose these particular flowers to represent the type of rulers each king was.
The gardens themselves spanned out for miles along the eastern side of the royal palace. The older gardens span out further and are not gated off whereas the younger gardens are situated closer to the castle and are gated. When I imagine Endymion’s royal garden, I imagine tall, black, gothic-style gates/fencing surrounding the garden with rose bushes spanning along the fencing. In the center of the gardens, there is a large, stone fountain. There are a few pathways that lead through the gardens, with a few rows of rose bushes lining the paths on either side.
Crystal Tokyo
“THOUGH IT MAY NOT BE THE EXACT SAME GARDEN, MANY OF THE SEEDS THAT MADE UP THIS GARDEN HAD COME FROM THE REMAINS OF THE EARTH KINGDOM. THEY’RE ALL THAT REMAINS ON THIS PLANET OF OUR DISTANT PAST.”
- King Endymion [source]
While the Earth Kingdom and Elysion were destroyed when Sailor Saturn dropped her glaive and ended life on the Earth and Moon, not everything had been lost. While there’s too much to go into in this headcanon (I’ll likely tackle the subject in another headcanon post), essentially, Elysion was able to exist in a sort of... parallel world to the Earth we live in today, which is where Helios had hid for so long after the fall of the Earth Kingdom and the rise of the new Earth.
With this concept in mind, I like to imagine that when Usagi and Mamoru were married before Crystal Tokyo’s formation, Helios gifted Mamoru with seeds that he’d salvaged from the remains of the royal gardens of Elysion. When the crystal palace was formed, Serenity and Endymion planted the seeds along the eastern side of the palace that overlooks the rest of Crystal Tokyo.
Got a headcanon request for Mamoru / Endymion? Feel free to toss it in the ask box!

What is your opinion of the BSSM community headcanon of the Shitennou being associated with the Four Symbols? Personally, I really like it because it more or less makes it a really nice parallel to the Senshi (and that's without adding Astronomy and Astrology!!) and it kinda fits, especially when you think about Mamoru/Endymion (the wielder of the GOLDEN Crystal) being the Yellow/Golden Dragon of the "Center" i.e. Earth/Terra
I really like this symbolism.
For starter, I think that the Golden Kingdom and Elysion was a world of magic.Serenity and her Senshi were sort of Goddess, but I think that also the Earth, during the Silver Millennium, was a world where magic was pretty normal.Endymion is the wielder of the Golden Crystal, and it’s said that the Golden Crystal is as much powerful as the Silver Crystal. Endymion isn’t a “normal” human, with no power at all, and, of course, his guardians, the Shitennou, can’t be “normal” humans, neither.
I like to think of the Shitennou as powerful Kings, who share some connection with deities or mythology (as the Senshi).
I have already talked about the connection between the Shitennou and their mythological counterpart, and about their connection with the cardinal virtues. We could also add their connection with the Four Symbols, here, and I think it gives a whole understanding of them if we add what I am going to say now to what I have already said.
JADEITE – He is connected to the Azur Dragon, the mythological creature of the East. His element is wood. He is believed to be benevolent.
It fits with the image of Jikokuten, with the idea of his title and his role (Patience and Harmony), and his connection with wood can be opened to a more wider connection with earth and soil, and maybe it explains why Jadeite is the only one, among the Shitennou, who can create creature (youma) from clay.
NEPHRITE – He is connected to the White Tiger, the mythological creature of the West. His element is metal, and it was held to be the God of War. He is seen as protector and defender (also from evil).
It perfectly fits with Kamokuten and with his title and role (Intelligence and Comfort, in the sense of protection-justice, as I previously explained).
ZOISITE – He is connected with the Vermillion Bird, the mythological creature of the South. He is associated with fire, and he is a symbol of good luck.
Again, it fits with Zochoten, with his title and role (Healing and Purification - fire is a way of purification) and with the overall idea of rebirth-growth (the Vermillion Bird has been considered to be identical to the Phoenix).
KUNZITE – He is connected with the Black Tortoise, the mythological creature of the North. His element is water, and he is associated with longevity and wisdom.
It fits with Tamoten, all-knowing, and  the idea of purity of his title reminds of water.
