It’s a Monday. It’s the start of another week of mystery and surprises.

My day kicked off when my alarm went crazy around 12 noon. Yes, 12 noon, because my shift got adjusted for 2 hours later than usual. I was dreaming that I am driving away a pig out of my room, and I know it’s very weird. I woke up afterwards, and I feel that I’m weak, dizzy and drowsy. I then went out for my haircut since it was almost a month when I last had one, and it went pretty well. I took a bath later, and I made sure that the water was hot because the wind is really cold. I even shivered for some time inside the bathroom. Then I dressed up and went to the office. 

I brought the buchiron that my brother gave me, and it is very delicious. Even my teammates liked it, even though they did not get much, probably because they are thinking that it is fatty and unhealthy.

I did not do much work for the day. I really had to ask for tasks from teammates because I’m not very busy and I wanted to help. It is the first time also that I am part of the late shift, so almost everybody from the team are out by 2 AM. Only the two of us remained for solving the earlier shifts’ issues. I had a hard time in my first day since I was really sleepy at the closing hours of the shift. 

When I got home, I ate some Jollibee and even bought chips and chocolate. That’s how I really wanted to pamper myself with food, and I already lost my self discipline.

Tomorrow is the widely known Valentine’s day, and I expect it to be an event filled one.

I know it’s a Sunday, but we have another batch of fights coming up for UFC 208. Me and my friend already made picks some hours before the event, and we only differed for one fight. It’s another unfortunate situation since I only lead by one, and she can tie the scores if her pick wins. I was still on short sleep, so I decided to not watch it live and just follow it on Twitter. It seems my decision was right after all. The main card was lackluster, and full of decisions and controversy. I expected most of them are finishes, but only one happened. For the lone difference in our picks, mine lost, so we got ourselves in a tie. I still can’t believe it because I led by (as much as I remember) 3 games. That’s how it goes anyway, almost basing on a flip coin. I also did not download the event since I read that most fans are not impressed with the card.

I got asleep a little later until afternoon. At around 3, my brother was dressing up and packing his things. I did not expect that he will be going to Manila already that early, since he regularly goes Monday afternoon or evening. He even left us some buchiron which I really liked. It’s a type of chicharon made of buchi, or as what I understand is the esophagus of the chicken. Upon leaving, I just wished him the best.

Then came my parents an hour later. When they arrived, they opened up the store again, and then I came there from my room. I just don’t want to feel useless to them so I went there to help. My mom even told me that it’s my rest day so I should be taking a break, and my dad also told me that I could go to my room, but it’s just part of their mind games. They really wanted me to stay there and sell to earn some money. So I did, despite the fact that I’m obviously not happy with what I’m doing. As a result, I also only played a little darts.

When the store was closed, I went to my room and played some Yu-Gi-Oh again. I also prepared my gifts for tomorrow. I wrote messages on the cards, but I took my time on doing them. It consisted of a comic book, two greeting cards, and some stickers, all from Libreng Komiks. I hope the recipients would like them.

Tomorrow is a tough day since I will be starting a week on a late shift. I hope my body could adjust accordingly.
