Currently I’m reading “Storming Ceaser’s Palace”; it’s a book about the black mothers who fought for welfare changes in Las Vegas and had an effect on national policy regarding race and welfare.

7. What’s your strangest talent?

Ummm I’m really good at picking out the perfect gift for people? I’m also really good at picking out outfits as well—I had fun when I worked retail and convinced someone to buy a whole new wardrobe lol

63. What is your secret weapon to get someone to like you?

Food!! My best friend/soul sister and I became friends in college because I had a crock pot full of Mac and cheese in my room and had left the door open. She walked by, turned around and came back and was like, “What smells so good?” and I whipped off the lid and was like “Mac and cheese! Want some??” and thus, a soulmate was found 🥰

I just saw/reblogged your “Writing x Characters When You Aren’t X” post, and while I have no doubt about its usefulness, I was wondering if you had any advice on how to write a “non-x” character who has become an “x character,“ particularly if the x refers to a change in ethnicity.

I don’t have advice for you on that, because to my understanding, you can’t change ethnicity? Maybe I’ve misunderstood your question? But I’d direct a question like that to the OP blog of that post @plotlinehotline because it seems like they’d be the best ones to help you figure that out!

When did you start shipping each of your marvel. Ships?

Oh gosh, I really only recently started shipping stucky—and that’s usually 1940’s stucky or shrinkyclinks. It’s one of those ships that I saw the appeal in but it never did much for me, and then with time I found versions of it that I do really like.

Let’s see, stuckony and winteriron are more recent as well—I also ship stony and that’s within the last year or two.

Kastle aka Frank Castle and Karen Page was when daredevil s2 came out.

But also, even if it’s not listed as a ship I enjoy, I’m pretty omnivorous about ships. Like, if they’re pretty and interesting and complicated characters? I probably wanna see them fuck lol
