The third batch of Bugswap designs!

To be honest, I’m not totally happy with these designs, but I’m mostly proud with what writing I have so far. It’s a bit tricky trying to translate what aspects of a character’s designs would look like in the place of another, but I think I’m making it work pretty well so far.

I think after these four I should have the designs of Eggabell and Lizbert finished, and then I can finally make a proper line-up of the cast. So keep your eyes peeled until then! ;0)

I think the title of the AU alone is pretty self-explanatory (well, it's a swap AU, so that's presumably pretty straight-to-the-point, isn't it?), so I'll reserve this about section as being a general quick-guide to references and other important information.

BUGSWAP: CONTINUED!

I’m so glad you guys showed as much interest in Bugswap as you did! It really motivates me to want to continue sharing what I’ve got. So, here’s the next batch of characters. The designs are kind of fixer-uppers at the moment, but I’m pretty glad with what I’ve gotten writing-wise.

I think I should have the next batch of characters done by the end of the week or so, if I have enough time. Once I’m done with the concept designs, I’ll make a finalized line-up of the cast.

Again, feel free to ask me anything about the AU! I’d love to share what I’ve gotten so far.

THE GANG’S ALL HERE!

A very long endeavor finished at last. A cohesive lineup of the Bugswap cast for not only ME but you guys as well 😏 I strongly recommend tapping/clicking for better quality as the pictures may be a little low-res depending on your device.

These should be the finalized designs, at least for the time being. Designs may change over time, but designs may not. It all depends on what I aim for in future dates, so who knows? Visually, they’re a lot more cleaned up than the bios, so I’m gonna use this lineup pretty often, haha

Not to get too corny, but thanks so much for everyone’s support and encouragement! Honestly, I was a bit skeptical people would even like the AU but my tune’s definitely changed. Expect to see these grumps around quite a bit for the foreseeable future ;0)

Hey, look! It’s Liz and Egg! Sure hope nothing wacky and uncharacteristic ensues on their adventure to Snaktooth Island!

So here’s the thing. I THOUGHT I deleted my entire stack of Bugswap references, but I guess I accidentally just had a blank canvas cover it, leading me to be confused. But hey, I found the unfinished refs and finally wrapped ‘em up!

With that said, I ALSO finally finished the finalized (at least for now) line-up of the cast, which I plan to post over the weekend. I think the wait’s been worth it since I’m really proud of the results!

Hey there! I’m Joey. I’m 17 years old and I use They/Any pronouns.

This is my Bugsnax sideblog. Pretty self-explanatory, if I say so myself. I mostly post usual stuff like fanart, headcanons/analysis stuff, the occasional shitpost, and everything in-between. My main blog I interact from is @ojamajodoremisharp (I recommend following that one too).

My blog isn’t spoiler-free. That said, I tag anything potentially spoilery as just “spoiler tag”, so if you wanna give my blog a little looksie but don’t wanna risk your playing experience being spoiled, I’d recommend salvaging that tag.

I don’t have a DNI (mostly because this is a fucking Bugsnax sideblog who needs DNIs for a Bugsnax sideblog). I’m sure you know the drill and it bares no repeating. I block to my own leisure and I encourage you do the same. My only strict guideline is I personally recommend you only follow me if 16+ (current followers/mutuals exempt).
