First of all Willi is gorgeous.

And now to my little ramble... it's the eye contact for me and the parted lips and the small eyebrow raise which you can barely see but I see it all too well! The way he dropped his gaze to his lips... He looks hazed and and lost in Focuses eyes or actually his presence, he is so I love with Focus and you can really see even if they have like 2 minutes of screen time all together

Focus not breaking the eye contact while having the biggest smile on his face. Tell me you are whipped without telling me you are whipped... and that small and slow blink... I can't do this

I know that Willi can kiss but I still had to pause when he kissed Focus because damn boy... I never kissed anyone so I won't talk about kisses much but that FELT deep! If I'm being honest Willi probably has one of the best kisses in Thao bl industry I said what I said

Between that hand that was on Focuses neck that moved to his leg and that other hand on his back I don't know which one is driving me more insane... Or perhaps it's the the fact that Focus is actually sitting on his lap??? Or or the fact that Focus had to groud himself by putting his hand on the wall???????

I wasn't gonna include this gif but I had to when I rewatched it. The fuck me eyes Focus is giving and the parted breathless lips but also the moment he felt that Willi will pull him in he was ready.. Parting his lips even more and closing his eyes even before their lips touched. And the strong pull that Willi did on the back of his head which took him by surprise by what I see... I am not sure if that hand flying to Willis upper hand was scripted or not but to me it's more like Focus was trying to find balance after the neck pull...

Now this part was actually amazing, Focus being breathless and throwing his head back as Willi is kissing his way down?! And Focus flexing and moving away from Willi's lips????? That is some amazing acting! It's so realistic

And finally the collarbone biting while Focus has his hand pulling on Willi's hair and then Willi getting ready for another kiss... damn I was so not prepared but I enjoyed it. Willi can deliver amazing NC scenes hopefully this post won't get reported I spent over am hour on making this post

Imagine if the next adventure for Nero is him having to deal with Vergil's messes from his period before DMC3

Just the enemy says something about Vergil and getting revenge through Nero and Nero's like "I ONLY GOT TO KNOW THE GUY FOR LIKE A DAY, HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I EXISTED"

I think that Vergil has done even more horrible things that we don’t know about in his pursuit of power. Like what was he doing between the ages of 8-19? Atrocities beyond human comprehension is my best guest.

Vergil has shown time and time again to be so consumed with his fear and feeling of abandonment that he will push away anything that seems too “human” or “weak.” He pushed down his emotions and human half, only referring to himself as a demon. He pushed away Dante when he tried to save him at the end of 3, slicing his hand to make sure Dante couldn’t have a chance at grabbing Vergil and saving him. He ignored fear and survival instincts and fought Mundus despite having a full day of fighting and getting defeated by his brother already.

Vergil is not a smart character because he’s so irrational from his fear and greed. He wants power and he doesn’t want to be hurt. Yet it’s so self-destructive. His greed and desperate attempt to chase away his fear caused his downfall. So with this lack of rational thinking, who knows what he’s been driven to do in his past. He’s probably killed, hurt, and destroyed so much more then we know.

As we learned in 5 and Visiojs of V however, we know Vergil is really just a scared 8 year old boy who wants his mother to save him. He just wants to be protected and loved, a very human desire.

So when I think about the “what if” situation where Vergil knew he had a child, it makes me wonder what he’d really be like.

I don’t think he’d abandon Nero. He may push down his emotions and only focus on his pursuit of power but that all stems from his supposed abandonment as a child. So to do to his own kid what was done to him? Just doesn’t make sense. He may have periods where he’ll try to leave but he’ll always come back.

So driven by his own fear of what happened to him and recognizing that Nero is only 1/4th demon he would have Nero start training the MOMENT he could walk. He wouldn’t be a very emotional father, especially if it was just him. Maybe if raising Nero caused him to reconnect with Dante he would be forced to accept what happened to him and realize that Eva didn’t pick Dante over him. But even so, a lifetime of hatred, jealousy, and fear doesn’t just go away even if one discovers it was based in lies.

Vergil wouldn’t be a good father per-say, but if he knew he’d try his best in his own way. His own way being rigorous training and hard to communicate emotions but he’d try to make Nero feel protected.

Like the game doesn't offer ulder enough. and it's frustrating because some people are starting to see the layers behind wyll's discussion of his horns/why he would be seen as unsettling to the tieflings, but idk if people are also fully understanding not just the role devils play in the game but ulder's own experiences... he says he became a "plaything for devils" when in elturel. That's bad yeah? like I fully believe he loves wyll and I fully believe that part of his firm refusal to listen to wyll stems from not just the real fear of losing his son to powers beyond his control, but also from his recent trauma of being abused by devils and then seeing his own son bear these marks. It's still not fair to wyll. But I find that having a character who's a flawed parent, who tried and tries and still has shortcomings but admits to them, is incredibly interesting and worthwhile to engage with. But also larian seems so uninterested in actually exploring their relationship, as evidenced by how little we get between the two of them lol

it stands out to me how armand frequently uses endearments for daniel ('beloved', 'my love'). it's something i can't recall him ever doing with his other lovers - typically, he expresses his affections through grand romantic speeches (which has its own appeal, to be sure). but with daniel, he's a little sappier, a little sillier. they will spend nights together people watching or putting on a movie they've seen a dozen times already. there are still grand gestures, like giving daniel night island or showering him with precious items, but daniel is also the one buying all the airline tickets for armand as he makes them fly around the world and explain things like long distance phone calls and tax brackets. the sweeping romance also exists alongside the mundane acts of existing together and indulging your loved one's weird habits and using petnames. it's very humanizing and sweet.

Before I go to sleep I leave you all with this piece of advice: sometimes you don't actually have to answer big political questions, sometimes you can just say "I am not smart enough to know that, I just know the small things I do to help." Like you can often times completely avoid making a fool of yourself if you just say you don't know.

I looked up the age of the child actors for young Xiao Lanhua (Xiyun) and Dongfang Qingcang because I thought that would be indicative of what their canon ages at the time should be.

Xiao Lanhua’s was eleven when the show filmed, which yeah that tracks. I always imagined her as 10-11 when she was sealed away.

But bb DFQC’s was also eleven, and wow if that isn’t the most excruciating thing I’ve ever heard. Eleven!! When he survived endless torture and was forced to kill his own father!! When he was put on the throne. He wasn’t even a preteen yet. I hate it so much.

I like to think that now that Dante and Vergil are in hell together just bonding in their weird way of killing demons and running swords into each other, Dante doesn't feel like he has to act like Nero doesn't matter to him.

Like before he had to keep Nero at a distance because everyone he cares for seems to get hurt or die, but now that he's as far as one can possibly get he can talk about Nero and oh lookie here! The perfect person to talk about Nero to!
