#one of my coworkers told me that she was worried i was gonna quit the first few months at my job#and i was v confused bc i never even considered it and when i asked why she thought that#she said bc i was so quiet and didnt talk#and karen baby thats bc im shy and awkward af and tbh i thought those were the vibes i was giving off#and i very much felt super stressed out and unsure of everything i did for a few months#like i wasnt aloof and mysterious i was so stressed by the job and meeting so many new people i felt physically ill#i thought that was obvious but apparently not???#and shes not the only one whos said that!#i am beginning to fear i may not have an accurate idea of how people perceive me#and like i guess good im glad people cant tell how stressful i find meeting new people and being in situations where i dont know anyone#but i also dont want to be seen as a cold aloof loner? please just start the conversation and handle the small talk and ill defrost i swear#i just feel like i usually think my stress is very visible and i guess it isnt? apparently? according to karen it isnt lol
